Moz Local Problems
Hey everyone! Just got a note from Erin at MOZ and the Google+ issue is fixed! Kudos to the team on getting that done. I know how tedious and time consuming debugging this issue must have been, but they kept on it even after this thread went cold. Very cool guys! Kevin

+1's just Homepage or Everypage?
Hi Ruben, There is no problem with putting the +1 on any page on your site people might want to share or 'vouch' for on Google+. If it's easiest to add it to all of your pages, that's fine too. I like removing social buttons from pages that aren't likely to get shared, simply to improve page speed. No, there is no concern over speed of +1s as long as they are legit. A popular blog post may easily get 100-200 +1s in a day. It sounds like you already have a G+ community and are trying to build it more. That is a good thing and something Google wants as well. As long as you aren't trying to fake/game anything, go for it.

Too many reviews too quickly?
I have the same question. While I appreciate the replies from Andy and Miriam, neither backed up their answers with evidence. Has Google ever stated specifically that too many reviews too quickly could get a site penalized or have the reviews not "count?" Or has anyone ever published research or examples? Thanks, Paul

Why does someone's FB page rank so highly?
This, in my opinion, is the BIGGEST flaw with Google's algorithm right now. In order to beat back spam, Google gives heavy preference to high authority domains. That's why you see the SERPs dominated by brands right now. If you Google "brown boots", you'll notice each of the top results has little to NO links pointing to that page, but a HUGE overall domain authority. SEOs are taking advantage of this loophole right now. Because properties like Facebook, Yelp, YouTube, SlideShare, etc have so much trust and equity built up with Google, you can spam the HELL out of them and not get penalized. And even if you do get penalized, it's really no skin off your back because it's just a social profile. No one was finding it through Google before so it doesn't matter if they can't find it in the future. I rank a ton of YouTube videos and SlideShare documents with really crappy gigs on Fiverr. Low quality social bookmarks, cheap web 2.0s and old school spam link wheels work really well. All the garbage is essentially filtered out by the high authority of the domain. P.S. You can't find the links with OSE because the link index is only updated once a month, and even at that, OSE's link indexer is pretty sub par. This response was written by Ryan Stewart.

What to look for with Domain Authority?
Hi Ruben, It could mean that yes you are doing something right, as in getting more links, or just that moz has recently crawled or found more links, and as result you are seeing a jump in your DA. A 2-5 point increase or decrease is not out of the ordinary Here is more relevant info: http://moz.com/community/q/freaked-out-over-domain-authority-ranking-drop Hope this helps!

How do I change my on-page report urls?
Hi! Campaign On-Page grades are actually generated automatically for keywords ranked in the top 50 of SERPs. We take the keyword that ranked and grade it against the page it ranked for. You can always manually set up a keyword/URL combination to be graded weekly through the Add & Manage On Page Grades section. You can also use the stand alone Research Tool to run one off reports. Head over to our Help Hub for more information. Thanks! Best, Sam Moz Helpster
