Ruben, Woo Commerce for Wordpress is a pretty good solution for a small eCommerce site. If you're going for a bigger site with more robust inventory needs, including integration of a Point of Sale (POS) system you might go for another solution, such as BigCommerce, Volusion, Magento... which will be more expensive but also more scaleable. I think Woo Commerce will work for you based on what you've stated so far.

Hey Ruben, I'm really sorry for misunderstanding your question. You should definitely be able to edit your custom URL on the profile. Are you getting an error message when you try to edit the URL? If you can tell me what the URL is that you are trying to edit and what you are trying to change the URL to, I can look into what may be the issue. Chiaryn

Google changed its webmaster guide lines a while ago making guest posting and press releases a bit more grey hat i.e they recommend against it (with the exception of no follow links). Basically you can still do it, however you're doing it for the user not the search engine. Thus as it's against the webmaster guide lines most people are looking for alternatives and thus it's not used as much. thamls

If the new website is related to the old website, redirect as many individual pages to the new site as possible. Match up the pages and that'll create the most seamless way of moving the site from the old to new. All your old traffic will end up in the right place on the new site. Benefits there include any SEO or inbound links will pass pagerank over to the new site as well giving you a bit of a boost. If the old site has nothing to do with the new site but it's your new brand, company, or project that you want to draw attention do, just do a straight 301 redirect and explain that it's a new project somewhere on the page. Any existing traffic from the old site will follow through and learn what you're currently up to on the new site. If the old domain has no traffic, no SEO, no inbound links, and really doesn't have anything to offer, keep it parked.

Also want to comment on 800 number vs local number. Generally for a local small business, a local phone number is preferred. And yes, we use it in the meta description, because it works!
