  • Hi there, Great question! Domain Authority in Link Explorer and the Links section of your Moz Campaign correlates with Google rankings to give you an accurate representation of a sites's ranking power. To understand how to improve DA (Domain Authority) it can help to get some insight into how we gather our data, which I'll include below. Sorry in advance for the long message! To calculate DA, we index the web by following links using a crawler. Our crawler is built on a machine-learning based model that is optimized to select pages like those that appear in our collection of Google SERPs. We feed the machine learning model with features of the URL like the backlink counts for the URL and the PLD (pay-level domains), features about the URL like its length and how many subdirectories it has, and features on the quality of the domains linking to the URL and PLD. So, it's not based on any one particular metric, but we're training the crawler to start with high-value links. In terms of improving your Domain Authority, with the information above in mind, it's best to look at both you on-page SEO to make sure you've covered the basics. Then you also want to look at your off-site SEO and building more links more links to your site. There are lots of different areas of Link Building to explore, from patching up broken links, improving your internal link profile, and good ol' fashioned content creation. Here is a great video by our founder Rand which goes over some easy link building tactics to get you started. I hope that helps to start you off! Let me know if you have any other questions :]

  • Hi there! It may take some time to see Links added to Link Tracking Lists within our Link Index, for more information please see our Help Hub here: https://moz.com/help/link-explorer/link-building/link-tracking-lists We're not seeing any Link Tracking Lists in use for your account, please also ensure the subscription related to the Link Tracking List is active as Moz Pro tools are unavailable for inactive or suspended accounts. If you have any follow-up questions about your specific account, feel free to contact the Help Team via help@moz.com

  • Hi there, Thanks for reaching out and for your interest in Moz Local! At this point, Moz Local only supports US, UK, and Canadian business locations. You can read more about how Moz Local works on our Help Hub. Every new market presents challenges that we have to work through. The other barrier to entering new markets is being confident that we can work with the right partners to deliver value. If and when we expand our presence, we will make announcements on our blog here:  https://moz.com/blog/category/local-seo Feel free to follow our blog for any updates! Hope this helps and please let me know if there's anything else I can help with.

  • If google has crawled and indexed your site thoroughly, you can also do  a site:domain search with a short phrase from the content Moz has identified as duplicate in quotation marks. The results will show you all the pages on your site with that exact phrase.   I like to use a few words at the end of a sentence and a few words at the beginning of the next sentence for this. If google has not indexed all your pages, however, this tactic will not provide you with all the dupe content. So, for example, site:mydomain.com "duplicate content happening. Can someone please"

  • Hi YardDawgs, I've had a look at your Moz Local Profile. It looks like you've set up your profile as a Service Area Business, with this selected in your Moz Local Profile your business address won't be submitted to our partner directories or connected platforms. This is in line with GMB guidelines for representing your SAB businesses online. https://moz.com/help/moz-local/getting-started/service-area-businesses https://www.screencast.com/t/ktRPUicwXTyu I hope that this helps, please don't hesitate to reply with any other queries you might have.

  • Hi there, Sam from Moz's Help Team here! So, Moz's Spam Score is actually the percentage of sites with similar features we've found to be penalized or banned by Google** (it's not based on the spam score of the sites linking to you).** To improve this score I would recommend reading our guide which explains the 27 factors used to make up this score. You can then look at your site and investigate areas you would like to improve on your site: https://moz.com/help/link-explorer/link-building/spam-score Disavowing a link doesn't take it away so they will still appear as backlinks to your site within the Moz tools. The fact that Google disregards them in relation to your site does not take them off the sites they are on, so best practice is to approach the webmaster first and request the link be removed if possible. Best of luck, and let me know if I can help with anything else!

  • Hi there, Thanks for writing us and sorry to hear about your troubles. You can find helpful documentation regarding the Moz Local  tool here: https://moz.com/help/moz-local Unfortunately, at this time additional user access is a function limited to Moz Pro. Seated users on your account won't be able to access your Moz Local listings which is why you are not seeing anything  regarding multi-seat functionality. Customizable reports are not something that is currently offered via Moz Local but we can  definitely  pass along all of your feedback to our Product team for future updates. If you have any  further questions, please feel free to reach out to us at help@moz.com. Apologies for the inconvenience!

  • Hi there, Unfortunately, at this time additional user access is a function limited to Moz Pro. Seated users on your account won't be able to access your Moz Local listings. Sorry about that! The only real workaround is to share login information with other users, but I'll be sure to let the product team know that you are interested in allowing seats access to Moz Local as well.
