Can MozLocal cause duplicate listings?
Hi there, Thanks for reaching out! Once uploaded, validated, and purchased, we publish your listing data to all of our partners for processing—which takes anywhere from a couple of minutes eight weeks. The only time we won't push a listing through to one of our partners is if you have a paid account with them already. Otherwise, we update any existing listing that you have with them. We won't create any duplicate listings, so you'll be safe there. If we do find a potential duplicate, we list them out and direct you on where you need to go to fix them. Outside of that, you're welcome to use you Check Listing feature ( http://moz.com/local/search ) to see what areas could be improved for listings outside of our partnership network. Hope this helps and have a great day!

Moz Local - any way to claim Best of the Web listing?
That does help David, thanks. I guess I just need to curb my desire to micromanage.

¿When Moz Local to all the World?
We would like to expand Moz Local, but don't have any dates yet. We will be sure to let everyone know when it comes time to add more countries!

How does Moz Local work with business that don't have a physical location? (e.g., handyman, locksmith, etc.)
Hi Ben! Our tool will need to validate the address each time the csv is uploaded. For any locations marked as a service address, we will submit it to our partners but cannot guarantee they will hide the physical location from their sites.

Moz Local and Google+ Listing Issue
If this were me (or my client), I would focus on claiming and taking over the Google Local page. While that can be a complicated process, and communicating with Google can be slow, if you keep at it they will eventually help you get control of the page. Can you share the Google page that is causing the issues?

Why Moz Local Not showing proper results for Our Business Listings?
Hi There PopTech! May I suggest that you start a help ticket at: https://moz.com/help/contact (choose accounts as your category). That way, you can share the full details of your account with us privately and one of our awesome Helpsters can take a look. Be sure, when you create your ticket, to include your account email

Updating a Business name only in Moz Local.
Hi Gyi, Thanks for letting me know this. I'm really sorry for whatever may have caused this confusion. May I suggest that you please start a ticket at https://moz.com/help/contact so that you can share the complete details of your Moz Local account in private and have it investigated by our help team? That would be the best way to approach this, I believe.

How to export Google Places List
I have the same frustrating issue it says the data is provided by other sources but I have no idea what that means exactly.

What should I do to remove duplicate listings on my moz campaign?
If there's pages to which you don't have access that are duplicates, you may just need to ignore them. Right now, we don't have a good "ignore this issue" system in Moz Analytics, but it's something we're working on (just behind a bunch of other customer asks that are priorities). If you can access those pages and want to fix them both for Moz but, more importantly, so Google and other engines don't see duplicates, check out these two pieces on fixing dupes: http://moz.com/learn/seo/duplicate-content and (specifically related to Moz Analytics campaigns) http://moz.com/help/guides/search-overview/crawl-diagnostics/duplicate-content

Another MozLocal Error
Thanks for letting us know about this. I looked into this, and we were experiencing intermittent issues with our tools as a result of ongoing DDoS attacks this past weekend. I am so, so sorry for the inconvenience this is causing you. Our website is back up, but we are having trouble communicating with some of our partners like Google or Facebook. I expect everything to be fully functioning in the next few hours, tomorrow at the latest. We recheck the listings, but I would recommend then deleting the listings and re-upload your CSV then. Rest assured, Moz engineers are working as hard as possible to resolve the tacks and resulting instability. For ongoing status updates, please visit Moz Health (http://health.moz.com/). For details on the DDoS attacks on Moz, please check out this article from the NYTimes: Tally of Cyber Extortion on Tech Companies Grows (http://nyti.ms/1yE0NIe). Thank you so much for your patience. We really appreciate it! --Ken

MozLocal Error
Hi Ruben, The Check listing tool updates every few days, so even when the information has been pushed to Foursquare, it can take us a couple days to crawl the appropriate Foursquare page and surface that information to you. Let me know if you have any other questions, happy to help. Cheers, Ryan Watson J.D. Business Development Manager | Moz

Can Moz local correct listings with incorrect addresses/phone numbers that have no FB or G+ listing?
Hi DragonSearch, Oops! I'm sorry if I didn't explain that well. You would not create a Google+ Local or Facebook Local business page with an incorrect address. You'd want to create one with a correct address, that identically matches what you enter in the Moz Local CSV. This way, we can validate your information and then, once validation is complete, we can push you data out to our 7 supported partners, which are: Infogroup Acxiom Nuestar/Localeze Factual Foursquare Superpages Best of the Web Hope this helps!

Google+ & Yelp Listings not recognized by Moz Local
Anytime! No glitch on either side as it is the standard behavior with data propagation through large data warehouses

My listings have shown 'Update in Progress" for over a month now. Any timeframe for how long this process takes?
There's no official time frame offered by Moz?

MozLocal Update in Progress?

Moz Local Submissions
Hi Debby In order for us to claim your listings you would need to close your account with Localeze. I'm not sure what their process is if you fail to autorenew. If a Moz account is closed we update all of our partners informing them that our listings are no longer being managed by us. You can use our check listing tool to see if we are still showing your listings as being managed by someone else through https://moz.com/local/search Hope this helps!
