MOZ Local
Hi Kris! Moz Local pushes to the 5 major US aggregators + 2 other important platforms. The complete list of our 7 partners is: Infogroup Localeze Best of the Web Superpages Factual Foursquare Acxiom As others have mentioned, Yelp is not currently one of our partners, so that would be a listing you'd want to manage manually. Moz Local provides a little bit of a different service than Yext, by updating the core data aggregators that the primary local search engines rely on for their baseline data. Please, let me know if I can answer any further questions for you!

Very Disappointed. Finally an Index and No change in my PA or DA
Hi David Sorry to hear your metrics have not moved. Usually if you do not see a change in your DA, it means we haven't discovered new links from high authority sites. Just so you know, here's how we compile our index: We grab the most recent index. We take the top 10 billion URLs with the highest MozRank (with a fixed limit on some of the larger domains). We start crawling from the top down until we've crawled 90,000,000,000 pages (which is about 35% the amount in Google's index). Therefore, if the site is not linked to by one of these seed URLs (or one of the URLs linked to by them in the next update) then it won't show up in our index. Other tools, such as Webmaster Tools, Ahrefs, and Majestic will alway show more link data as they target the quantity of links, while OSE focuses more on quality and Domain Authority. It’s best to use all the tools you can to obtain a full backlink profile. Keep in mind you do not have to have a paid subscription for us to crawl your links. We are crawling constantly and your subscription only unlocked more reporting options and access to see more data. You can monitor your DA without a subscription for free. What you can do is search the sites you are building your links on. Look at their domain authority and see if they are considered to be influential for your links. If you are not building new links and growing the amount of linking root domains, then you will not see any change of your DA. Compare your site with your competitors, look for the # of linking root domains, # of linking C blocks, and total links. Take a look at the DA of their linking root domains and see if you can build your links to those sites as well. The more, the better! For Moz Local. I was able to force the update to change the number. This has now been submitted. Hope this helps and let me know if you have any questions!

MozLocal After Hours
Howdy There Everyone, I hope this message finds you all well and you are having a spectacular day! Unfortunately, for these after hour businesses they would need to be uploaded through a CSV. Do not fear though CSV's are super cool to use and it looks like Matt has provided a link to our documentation so you can review the format. If you would like a link to our template please feel free to follow this magical link. https://moz.com/local/static/resources/listings-template.csv I will be speaking with our product team to hopefully allow for more accommodating hour options in the single listing UI in the future. If you have any other questions let me know and I wish you a magical day!

Why competitor links not showing in my campaign?
Hi Everyone, I hope this message finds you well and you are all enjoying a spectacular day! This is a tricky issue, but the first thing to note is that our crawler is sadly fairly literal. In keyword rankings for example if you have the competitor google.com listed under the root domain and they are currently ranking for the sub domain www.google.com, then our crawler will have some trouble finding the pages. Due to the volume of requests we make we need to make sure that the sub domains match up before we can report the information properly for competitors. If you would like to write into help@moz.com a customer service representative should be able to take a look at your campaign. Writing into help@moz.com is also awesome because we can discuss account details outside of a public forum. Hopefully this helps and if you have any other questions or concerns let me know. Stay awesome!

MozLocal Listing Results
Depends on the date you submit and also how quickly you plan on doing the leg work to correct duplicates and other issues you will run into with your existing listings. In my most recent experience, I think it was like 6 weeks.

Can reporting be whitelable with Pro version on our site for clients?
With Medium levels and above you can have "Branded Reports" which allow you to add your own logo to the reports. See: http://moz.com/products/pricing.

Why is MOZ Local not finding any of my citations?
Hi Dino For Moz Local we only query and display listings from the following services on moz.com/local/search: For business name and zipcode search Google Facebook Foursquare Yelp (need recommend reviews) Superpages Infogroup Localeze Yellow Pages Factual Citysearch Best of the Web Bing Yahoo Hotfrog Acxiom The links to these pages will not show up on Open Site Explorer as that tool is completely based on backlink strength to your website and has no relevance to the physical location of your business. These sites do have high authority but your links are likely too deep for us to index as those sites have millions of pages with listings. Just so you know, here's how we compile our index for websites: We grab the most recent index. So for Local Listings, you do not want to use OSE for citation research.

Deleting duplicate listings in MOZ LOCAL
Thanks David, I most of my clients are professionals, so I get several listings for the practice name and then several listings for each doctor plus the practice name. I think the information is being scrapped from some professional association groups. New ones keep popping up each month, mainly coming from Yahoo and its affiliates.

Not able to validate my listings in Moz Local.
Hey Victor! It appears you have a duplicate Google page which will need to be changed or removed as the one in the list is being returned to us by Google. You can search for your business to match the correct page by purchasing the listing from this list: https://moz.com/local/search/echoshield Pest control houston/77018 Click on the business name and then click on the Improve with Moz Local button under the listing score. Let me know if this helps!

How to enter hours in Moz Local for multiple hour sets per day
Per Sam Weber's answer a few months ago, "You should be able to do that. You'd just need to make sure it's formatted correctly. For the hours you listed, it would look something like this for Sunday: 1:09:00AM:11:00AM,1:02:00PM:06:30PM If the hours overlap, then we wouldn't be able to process it for you." http://moz.com/community/q/more-than-one-set-of-hours-per-day-in-moz-local I notice your code is missing the leading zero: 09:00AM. Cheers!

Has anyone used Moz local for their clients?
If your client has listed with every place that Moz says they get listings then it looks like your client has already gone the DIY route as mentioned on the Moz Local "How" page... Still, as a designer you might be able to tie in something like photography services to make their local listings look all the better. Google has been emphasizing higher res especially: https://support.google.com/business/answer/3038221?hl=en, "For best results, add photos that are at least 2,000 px wide and no wider than 2:1 ratio."

Why can't Moz Local pull up my Bing local listing?
Hi Stephen! Responses from each service's API can fluctuate. When searching for the business information we do rely on the information being available in their API. With Bing we have seen issues where some listing appear/disappear. Each time you load the listing report it does generate a live query. If your listing does not appear at all for a while, I would recommend reaching out to Bing to make sure your listing is updated in their API and is searchable. Hope this helps!

MOZ Local
Thanks for reaching out to us! While I am not very familiar with Yatz, I can let you know we do submit to these partners when you submit your listing through Moz Local: Infogroup Acxiom Nuestar/Localeze Factual Foursquare Superpages Best of the Web When you update your listing, we push the new data out to those partners every time at no additional cost to you. Anybody not mentioned above, you'll want to manage manually. The Check Listing tool can help walk you through that process. Does this answer your question today?
