  • My Google+ graph is on 100% incomplete, even though my Google+ local business page is up and running and has been verified by Google. How do I kick-start this so that it reflects the real score? y0qBDsY.png

  • Hi Tom! When you look at a Moz Local listing in the Check Listing tool, you can see a list of duplicate listings that pull up in the Duplicates tab. Here you can request removal of these duplicates, which would most likely include the older locations of your most recent listing. Can you write into help@moz.com with your specific example so that we can take a look and figure out the best way for you to proceed? Thanks! Kevin Help Team

  • Thanks Kevin. My accounts were verified as if by magic, so I don't need to worry about this bit now.

  • A 200 is perfect (it just means "OK").  I double-checked and your canonicals' are pointing to the http version which is also what you want if you're not doing a 301.  Some tools will still show a duplication even with the canonicals but rest assured ... Google knows what's what. Best of luck to you as you proceed forward and glad it worked out. Regards. Dave

  • Currently, Moz Local doesn't accommodate service area businesses because a number of our partners don't accept an address of that format. I apologize for the inconvenience, but we do need a full street address for the business in order to publish it.

  • Hi there! Sorry I'm so late to the game! My name is Erin, and I'm the Help Team here at Moz. This product pushes your listing's name, address, and phone number out across the web. Moz Local is meant for physical brick and mortar business locations that serve customers at their locations. So, if you're an e-commerce site, Moz Local isn't the best option for you. That said, if you also have a storefront, this could be a good option for this location! Let us know if you have any other questions! Cheers, Erin

  • Hi, Does anyone have any suggests for this? The problem is still carrying on and Moz is still refusing to accept an bulk file of locations based in the UK. Thanks Alastair

  • Hello JoAnne! Could you please send this to help@moz.com? We'll be able to help you a lot easier that way I took a look at your two listings and see that the addresses seem to be matching for both, so please let us know exactly which address you're looking to update as well. Thank you! Kevin Help Team

  • Hi There, Thanks for writing us and I hope this message finds you all amazingly well! While we generally try not to make direct comparisons to competitors, we do love speaking on Moz. Moz is generally excellent because we will actively manage the listing for the course of a year, so edits and to the listing are a part of an annual subscription. After taking a look into Bright Local it seems that they are a monthly service and may have a different policy on edits and changes. David Mihm does an awesome job of covering some of the advanced reporting available in Moz Local. https://moz.com/blog/announcing-local-reporting I would review that and hopefully other users who have encountered Bright Local in the past, can better speak to the services they provide. In the meantime if you have any questions for me let me know!

  • Hi Stephen If the listing cancelled and is no longer in your dashboard, you will have to go through the purchasing process to resubmit the listing. If you previously submitted the data from a CSV file you can re-upload that. Here are the steps: https://moz.com/help/guides/local/listing

  • Hey Robert! Just in case the deleted response was not accurate. All you have to remember is when publishing a listing through Moz Local that the location has an existing verified Google Places or Facebook Places listing with a unique local telephone number. As long as a different local phone number exists with the above pages, they will be treated as separate businesses. This is how we can support multi-practitioner locations for Dentists, Physicians, etc. So Google+Facebook+Local number = 1 Moz Local location Then for any ongoing updates, you only need to update Google+Facebook as we import Name, Address, and Phone directly from those sources to submit. Hope this helps!

  • I agree with what you have above, but with the recommendation to funnel everything you can to the website and emphasize the drop off locations. I'd even feature a cool interactive map on the front page of the site. Whatever you do, get rid of the P.O. box!!!

  • Hi Joel. It looks like James has answered your question pretty well, I'd only add that you'll want to make sure you're logged in to the corresponding Facebook and Google + accounts for the location that you're trying to set up in Moz Local. So if you're trying to do all five at the same time, you'd have five browsers running with five separate logins while also logged into Moz Local. That way when you get to the Facebook or Google verification link it will do so properly. Cheers!

  • So is Citysearch.com part of the listing?  I see it on here https://moz.com/learn/local/local-search-data-us I see both of my clients listings on Citysearch.com, but there no pictures for them.  I assume that Moz Local push the info out to Citysearch.com http://www.citysearch.com/profile/810294520/chino_ca/pizzita_circle.html?impressionId=000b0000008a2d9e24e3d5473e86a4e854e4d5f363 My question, how do I edit this listing for CitySearch.com? Regards, Benny
