Moz Local Duplicating Street Address
Hi David, Thanks for your response. I have gone through them all, the other listings are correct from what I can see through the Moz Report. Also, this is happening with more than one address that I have checked - see attached images. Under the Incomplete section it's showing Google as the one that's incorrect, however, when I click through to Google the address is correct - again, see attached images. Any other suggestions let me know 4FwVXZi.png OEF0JzZ.png jrKdHYU.png CoiU0tt.png

Incorrect client zip code in Moz Local
Hi Robert, This sounds like something we would need to look into from this end. I have created a ticket asking for a bit more listing information so we should be able to correspond there. Hopefully once we get a bit more information we can get this all sorted. For now I wish you a spectacular day and look forward to speaking with you soon!

Neustarlocaleze.biz - This Listing is already managed by someone else?
Hey There! Happy to have you aboard Moz Local. Here's how to accomplish this. You'll need to contact Localeze directly to request that they release the listing. Sometimes, customers may need to make this request more than once of Localeze. Once you've been notified by Localeze that the listing has been released, please contact our Helpsters (https://moz.com/help/contact), share the complete name, address, phone number and website of the listing with us and ask us to test to see if the listing has become available. If it is not yet available, please come back to us once a week to ask us to test again. It can take a couple of weeks for the listing to become available for Moz Local to manage. Within a few weeks of the listing being released, we can normally make this happen, no problem

What is needed to be "Complete" for each citation source?
Hello! Thanks for reaching out to us and with the blessings of Gondor we should be able to provide a good plan to get back to 100%. Here is how to interpret your Moz Local listing score, and have a good sense of what Moz Local is doing for and what you can take manual action on. When you sign into your Moz Local dashboard and click on a business listing there, you are taken to a business details page where you will see your overall listing score. This score is comprised of your status on the direct partner sites in our network + the status of your listings on non indirect partner sites, as well. The supported partner sites in our network are: Factual Foursquare Neustar/Localeze Infogroup Best of the Web Acxiom Superpages Bing CitySearch (Citygrid/Insider Pages) Once you’ve uploaded your listing to Moz Local, it’s our job to push your data out to the above direct partner sites. Your overall listing score will begin to rise as each of the above listings achieves updated status. The rise may be gradual rather than instantaneous, but should be noticeable over time. You should be sure you’ve filled out as many details as possible on your listing so that it can achieve a maximum score. If you’ve filled out all of these fields, you’re good to go on this and it’s our job to take it from there, pushing out your data to the direct partners. As each partner achieves updated status, your listing score will gradually begin to rise. Apart from this, you can contribute to a rise in your listing score manually by improving your listings on the non-partner sites shown on the details page. These non-partner sites are: Google Facebook Yelp Hotfrog YP On the details page, if you discover that we are reporting issues to you under the ‘Inconsistent’ and ‘Incomplete’ tabs on any of the above non-partner sites, you should consider taking manual action to correct these things. This activity on your part will also eventually contribute to a rise in your listing score. Finally, if our tool also surfaces duplicate listings for you, you’ll want to pay close attention to these. If the duplicates are on any of the partner sites, you can simply click the ‘close’ button. If they are on the non-partner sites, clicking the close button will take you to a page on the associated site where you will need to work manually with the platform to request closure of the duplicate. Taken all together, the work we are doing to push your data to the our partner sites and the work you do on the non-partner sites will contribute to a rise in your listing score, until hopefully reaching that 100% mark. I hope this helps you feel fully informed about our service and your opportunities! Please don’t hesitate to let me know if you have any further questions!

My Listing pulls in my street address twice from Google profile
Hi There, Hope all is well and you are having a magical day! It looks like we may need to create a ticket for this issue because it will require the full address of the listing and some additional information. Once we have this we should be able to pass this up to our engineering staff and hopefully get everything shaking like Kevin Bacon! We should be reaching out shortly so if you have any questions for me in the meantime let me know. I wish you a fabulous day!

Why is Moz local showing my google plus page as incomplete when it is 100% complete
Hi Chad, Glad that helped. Regarding time frames, we are unable to provide an accurate estimate on these, as it's a combo of when you added categories + when Google process that and pushes it out so we can see it + when our system updates. Wish I could offer a good estimate, but as we don't have control over all the steps, we can't predict. So sorry about that. P.S. This is Miriam responding, in Mozzer Alliance at the moment.

I just submitted a Local listing. How long does it take to propagate?
You can view the MozLocal dots and if you put the mouse over then it will show the expected date. It will be seen by the public. About 2-3 months. Hope that helps, Tom

Moz Local Address Issues
Yes your support mentioned that but the trick to that would have to get 2 check-ins to the facebook page because I could use that. I need to test it out and see how it works. I know its no your fault, its Google making things a pain.

Export all keywords from Keyword Difficulty and SERP
Hi There, Thanks for writing us! Unfortunately, while it is true that you can export all of your existing keywords from keyword difficulty with the export CSV here:http://screencast.com/t/DSxnAnpJuGm This will not be able to include the SERPs within the CSV, downloading all of keywords with SERP's is not possible at the moment because it would sadly put a lot of pressure on the system. Though we may be able to expand our capabilities down the line for the moment this is a bit beyond our capability. Here is an awesome article diving a bit deeper into the tool so if you have any questions for me let me know! https://moz.com/help/guides/research-tools/keyword-difficulty

Moz Local and Multiple Locations
Hi Shauna, You're very welcome! If your client's only real office is in Farmer's Branch, any Google+ Local pages he has built for any other city would be a violation of the guidelines, and thus, at risk for a takedown any time Google might notice them. Because this could then potentially 'prejudice' Google against the whole business, he might find his legitimate location suspected of spammy stuff as well. So, in a nutshell here, the client should not be thinking about what he may lose if he takes down spammy listings - he should be thinking about the preservation of his legitimate location. He's in an at-risk situation that needs to be addressed as wisely and speedily as possible SAB marketing works like this: You build a website. Your core on-site optimization revolves around the city in which you have a physical office. You only build citations for that physical office. On the website, you develop a unique page of content for each service city. You do not build citations for these location-less service cities. You hope to earn organic rankings (not local pack rankings) with these city pages because of their strength, quality, earned links, etc. This article is a year old and may have a few outdated references in it, but it should help you discern your client's business model type and understand what a typical marketing plan looks like for this type of model: https://moz.com/blog/local-landing-pages-guide The only alternative to the above is for the client to establish a legitimate, staffed office in Dallas, one in Plano, etc. If this is a new client of yours and/or you are new to Local SEO, I think it would be a very smart move to suggest that he hire an expert Local SEO to consult with him. If you've already discovered that he's been engaged in some spammy practices, chances are pretty high that he has engaged in others you may not yet know about. If a good Local SEO was willing to fully audit the business for him or for your agency, they would likely uncover a number of things that need to be addressed to clean up the way the business has been marketing itself and put it on a clean track. If you're looking for a heavy hitter in this field, I recommend you check out the Contributors box on last year's Moz Local Search Ranking Factors survey. Everyone who participates in that survey does so because their expertise is widely recognized: https://moz.com/local-search-ranking-factors Hope this helps! P.S. Oops, so sorry. This is Miriam writing, by the way, but I'm signed into Alliance at the moment

Moz Local UK - Is Facebook or Google being used to verify NAP?
Hi Kurt, Thanks for writing us and I hope this message finds you well! This question can get a bit tricky because there can often be a few facbook or google places pages with information very close to the desired listing can often create some confusion. I would select the facebook and google places partner is the listings that have been verified to see what we are pulling. Here is a screen capture for reference: http://screencast.com/t/m4t4yt7bti5 Also, this help hub article does a pretty good job of breaking down this process here: https://moz.com/help/guides/local/listing If you can verify the pages that we are pulling from are not the ones associated with your clients business I would be happy to create a ticket with our engineering staff on your behalf. Let me know what you find and I would be happy to help you with the rest of the process. Thanks again for being awesome and I look forward to speaking with you soon!

Changing LLC to Inc. and seeing Facebook
Hey Brian Thanks for reaching out. To provide more clarity. Facebook and Google URLs cannot be submitted to Moz Local to verify against. Our verification is a query of the business name and zip code directly to those services and they decide which ones to return as the closest match. If you have duplicate Google and Facebook pages, it is best to make sure those are removed prior to publishing a listing through Moz to avoid being validating against the wrong page. It's much easier when there is only one of each available for Google or Facebook to return. Then you only need to update these pages for any changes or updates to the NAP. If you can send us details of the listing you are referring to, we can take a look at help@moz.com If you need the listing to verify against a different Facebook or Google URL, please also include those links in the message as well. Hope this helps!

Moz Local - City being named twice
It also looks like Moz is pointing at incorrect Google Plus pages. And seems to be autofilling the county with the town - so this is probably why we're seeing duplicated town/cities.
