Best way to host video?
I think meaning that it may not endorse different films after your video has completed playing. You will possibly nevertheless have all the ads shooting up during the video though which is not ideal. like you can see here on the amazon gift card website.

Products To Products links
Tormar, Can you share the site so we can see exactly what's going on and provide a better answer? We find many eCommerce sites overdo anchor text. For example, if you sell Car Stereos and you have brands/manufacturer categories in the navigation, this is too much anchor text for "car stereos" below: Car Stereos by Brand JVC Car Stereos Clarion Car Stereos Kenwood Car Stereos Blaupunkt Car Stereos .... We advice those clients to use labels like this: Car Stereos by Brand JVC Clarion Kenwood Blaupunkt ... Without seeing your site, I'm not sure exactly what you're doing. However, if you find that the changes you made continue to have a negative impact on your rankings, the obvious choice would be to undo those changes.

How does low difficulty keywords help us to rank for high difficulty keywords?
Hi there, It's unlikely that ranking for low difficulty keywords on one URL will directly help another, more competitive page rank better, but there could be an indirect effect. If you can build up your traffic and authority over time by starting small and ranking for lower difficulty keywords, then the cumulative effect of this may lead to more traffic, more positive user signals and possibly more links which may help the domain as a whole rank better. So overall, it's something that may help but I wouldn't worry too much about the cause and effect of this and just focus on getting your SEO and content right, then over time you may see a positive effect on both types of pages. I hope that helps! Paddy

Already ranking high for blog, should I produce video?
So I think this would depend on how high of priority the keywords you're ranking for are. If you know these are high priority keywords that result in conversions and you wan to further improve/maintain your high rankings then I think that makes sense. Otherwise, it might not be worth the time/investment of doing so. Thee other consideration here would be how much search opportunity there is on YouTube.

Does Autoplay video effect SEO?
According to Google’s John Mueller "No". However, users bouncing because of them may be a negative SEO factor (even if the videos are muted). Some site rank high with a high bounce rate (ie - blogs). Other issues involved could be load time, accessibility and etc. I would run an a/b test with session recording and let the users decide. Good luck!

What is the alternative of Quora?
Unfortunately that area of the web is in decline. Most Q&A systems now function via apps or closed communities like Online Geniuses (via Slack) or the Buffer Community. This is sad, because Q&A forums (like this one) add great value to the web Although Quora is one of the best Q&A sites, it's way worse than it used to be. They made loads of changes to it to make it too simple (when people sometimes have complex questions). They really angered their own community to the point that loads of people left. Lot's of people started saying that Quora was bad, even their own users (openly) It used to be a place that an average person could go to ask a question and get an intelligent answer from a smart person. Now it's barely better than Yahoo Answers (in my opinion) I used to use it all the time, back in 201X's it was worthwhile. Now it's not

Which SEO tactic should I concentrate on first?
Thanks, those are some good resources. It's a shame there isn't a definite order, I could really do with following a definitive checklist to work my way through. Never mind, I'll just spread my time fairly evenly. Cheers

I'm not ranking locally.....
Hello Ash! Sorry to hear you're not yet ranking as well as you'd like to be. You're right that SEO is a long game, but here are some tips I hope will help you. Remember that there are no absolute local or organic rankings. For each customer, the results will differ based on their locations at the time they search. This means you have multiple chances to rank well for different customers in different areas of your geographic market, for each search phrase you are focusing on. When trying to assess why competitors are outranking you, you need to first find your true competitors. If you want to do this manually, here is a simple tutorial: https://moz.com/blog/find-local-competitors If you don't want to do the work manually and are a Moz Pro customer, please check out Local Market Analytics, which finds your organic competitors for you: https://moz.com/local-market-analytics-announcement Once you know who your competitors are, you are ready to audit them. The purpose of an audit is to stack up your metrics against theirs to discover why Google might be seeing them as a more relevant result than your business. You'll want to look at things like: The absence/presence of spam/guideline violations in both your business listing and in the listings of competitors Keywords in the business name and domain Google My Business accuracy, activity, etc. Citation consistency, spread, etc. Domain authority and GMB landing page authority Review count and sentiment Links Unstructured citations Content quality On-page SEO The impact of Google filters, like Possum etc. Here is a post I wrote in 2017 about performing a basic local competitive audit between your business and one of its competitors. The post might need a little updating, but it will at least get you started with this work: https://moz.com/blog/basic-local-competitive-audit Each competitive scenario will be different, but in general, what you'll typically see is that the brands outranking you in either the local or organic SERPs have some factors in which they are doing a stronger job than you. Once you know what those factors are, from your audit, you'll know where you need to focus your efforts to meet and then surpass them. This is the basis for all local SEO strategies. If this is more than you can personally take on, then you may need to reach out to an agency for professional assistance with the audit and strategy. Hope this helps!

How to rank my site planetdocumentation.com
Short answer? Write compelling content that people will want to share with their friends. If you do that, people will share links to your site, and that will boost visibility and your authority with the search engines. Longer answer. Don’t expect it to happen over night. Or even over a couple of weeks. Google only surfaces web sites that they feel are authoritative and which directly answer a user’s search query. Authority takes time to build, and one of the easiest ways to build authority is to get links into your site from other respected sites. Or because people are talking about your site (on social) and sharing links to your content. Also, Google takes the search intent of the person doing the search into account when they evaluate the sites that appear as results. So even if you match on a keyword basis in the title, the URL and the headings on the page, if the intent isn’t a match, they won’t show your page. Best Regards: Mangazuki

Is it still true that when your video is shown in a Google Video Carousel your page is not shown in the normal SERPS?
That is not true at all, Klaver, just as Kenn Gold just proved in his answer above. I just searched for "seo tips" and found that both Neil Patel and Backlinko have videos in the video carousel and have a page ranking in the top ten as well. Neil Patel also has the featured snippet at the top of the page as well.

Best way to manage multiple Google My Business accounts as a marketing agency?
Hi, Add your email as a manager to all clients accounts. That way you will be able to see all the accounts listed under your email when you log into your GMB. Thanks

Separate images (.jpg) or background images (.css) for list pages?
In my opinion, the 'normal' optimised images would be better because this would allow you to insert keywords in both the image name & alt tag. In both instances, I always recommend that you name the image file name using a keyword. In all instances make the images as small as possible WRT file size, that faster your site loads; the more Google will 'reward' you.

I have a question regarding the "interesting finds" on mobile search
Unfortunately, we don't have much guidance from Google at this point on the "Interesting Finds" section. It seems to be news-like, but as with "Top Stories," taps sites and articles beyond traditional news sites. It's very likely that AMP is a factor. Anecdotally, the articles seem to be more of a mix of recent and evergreen than "Top Stories" do. It almost seems more connected to "In-depth Articles," which disappeared last year. When the articles aren't recent, they seem to be longer, more in-depth pieces.
