What to do when migrating to HTTPS?
Taysir, I imagine that you received this message (added message so if someone is searching able to find this thread): Starting October 2017, Chrome (version 62) will show a “NOT SECURE” warning when users enter text in a form on an HTTP page, and for all HTTP pages in Incognito mode. The following URLs on your site include text input fields (such as < input type="text" > or < input type="email" >) that will trigger the new Chrome warning. Review these examples to see where these warnings will appear, so that you can take action to help protect users’ data. This list is not exhaustive. Gaston links and suggestion are great. This is a pain, but it's for the best. Good luck on the migration.

Moz Local bug?
Hi there! Kristina from Moz's Help Team here. Could you provide links to both your Facebook and Google pages so we can take a look into why our system may not be seeing them as verified? It may be easier to chat with us by emailing help@moz.com, if you prefer. Otherwise I'll be happy to take a closer look upon your response here. Thank you! -Kristina

Lead Conversion on Facebook
If you use lead-IQ.com you can even find out the person's name behind the goal conversions from any source traffic and also facebook of course. Basically it goes deeper than Google Analytics goals which are just number of goals. The problem with GA is that you do not know if those goal conversions are any good, which is a big limitation in GA and Facebook conversion tracking.

Navigation is not showing up when disabling JS?
Sorry for the delay Taysir, I didn't see the PM. I took a look at your site though and your implementation of the drop down menu is good and both Bing and Google are indexing it correctly. Hope this helps!

Weebly vs Wordpress for SEO?
Thanks Matt for your answer! Let me ask you this in regards to all the elements that are needed in SEO I was wondering if these were possible when using a Weebly interface: is it possible to 301 redirect a non weebly domain to a weebly domain? are canonical tags available on weebly? are url structures problematic? for instance I read that urls skip subdirectories such as www.example.com/weebly instead of www.example.com/hosting-reviews/weebly? Thanks for letting me know!

Sitemap submission for site migration?
Also wanted to point out, John Mueller from Google just asswered a very similar question here: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/webmasters/RTfC0dCd8B8/discussion - not sure if this is the same exact situation but thought it might help.

How to perform keyword research for Innovative products?
Hello Taysir, I don't like the suggestion of trying to rank for similar searches. That smells like "bait and switch", and would probably lead to poor user-engagement metrics, which would eventually harm your rankings across the board. Creating demand for new products and services is always a challenge. You have to get out of the pattern of thinking about keywords and start thinking about personas and topics instead. You'll be writing very early buying-stage content for each persona. This is content designed to drive traffic from people who might be interested in what you have to offer, but don't know about it yet. Here are some examples without me really knowing enough about the product to give "real" suggestions: Persona: Style Focused Samuel Interests: Fashion, style, celebrity culture, music Topic Idea: The Footwear Style Guide for 20016 Details: Contact publicists and send free samples to celebrities and athletes. Show pictures of celebrities, fashionistas and others pushing the trends of footwear. One of the several different "trends" to look out for will be your clients' innovative shoe product. Publish this on a shoe/footwear or fashion blog if you can. Persona: Price Conscious Carroll Interests: Family, budgeting, jogging Topic Idea: Saving Money on Kids' Shoes Details: Kids wear out and grow out of shoes constantly. Here are a few ideas to keep kiddie footwear expenses from breaking your bank. 1. Once-Upon-a-Child... similar stores. 2. This "innovative" shoe product that will lasts for years, guaranteed (again, I know nothing about the product so...). The idea is to introduce them to the product and brand by means of addressing their interests and concerns. If you get them to your site, offer a freebie, discount, premium gated content, or something else worth providing their email address for. Step 1 - Identify the audience segments most likely to be interested in this new, innovative product.Step 2 - Create an audience persona for each of your major segments (2-3 typically). Include things like what they are interested in; where they currently go online to read, watch, socialize and shop; who influences them online; etc... Step 3 - Write content that both addresses their needs/interests while at the same time featuring this brand and their new footwear product. Preferably, publish the content on a site you have identified as a place where this segment hangs out online (e.g. Jogging forums, fashion blogs...) to reach an audience much bigger than you would by publishing it on your site. The content should try to get them to the site though - usually by peaking their interests for more information, or offering them something of value. Step 4 - Collect their email address when they come to the site. Step 5 - Nurture them to a purchase over time through email offers (premium content, discounts, freebies...) If you need to create demand for a new keyword search, just use it in the content, press releases, etc... and over time some search volume should start to creep up. In the meantime, don't let that keep you from driving qualified traffic to the site with persona-based topic research. Good luck!

Looking for an intensive Adwords training classes in San Francisco or a good online resource!
I suggest google, learn from the best. The certification brings you into a loop, which is great to keep you continually updated. Main thing is to be able to apply it practically on a live account at the same time. https://support.google.com/partners/answer/3154326?hl=en

Should I Keep adding 301s or use a noindex,follow/canonical or a 404 in this situation?
Before deciding not to do a 301 redirect you may want to check how much traffic volume you get from these pages. If it's not significant and for some reason you're unwilling to do a 301 redirect, I would suggest trying to get the actual links going to those pages changed to your new events page. Also you should submit your new events page to those who linked to your old events page to see if you can get link equity flowing to your new page.

Best way to show content from articles I am published/featured in
How can we leverage articles and studies that have already been published online that is featuring our client and show them in full onto our own website? You can show them online and give rel=canonical to the original source. That is SEO value for the original source. That gives visitors to the site the opportunity to read them on your site. That is the leverage you can get out of duplicate content. If you want SEO value for your own site then you gotta do the work of writing original content. That is leveraging the fame and fortune of your doctor. The mistake that a lot of people make is to confuse dangerous short cuts with leveraging.

What other SEO strategies and tactics can be accomplished at this point?
Thanks for your suggestions! Our blog content is more informational than anything. I think we are pretty solid as far as kw selections for each of our services. Digging deeper into the analytics is a good suggestions so we can understand where people are falling from the funnel. The truth is that we have some GA implementation issues lately so hopefully asap we will have access to this kind of data. Our site is entirely mobile friendly My coworker is a CRO specialist and is working on user testing but essentially focusing on testing the service scheduler. Are you suggesting that we need to also use A/B testing for service pages and blog as well? Also do you know any tools or any methods to find "buzz" topics around carpet cleaning industry besides kw research, link analysis...?

Questions about canonicals
Don't use canonical tags on your other area pages. If you use canonical tags on your area pages that point back to the main page then you won't be able to rank them, and they won't even get indexed! Only use self-referential canonical tags on your area pages. You're facing a predicament that a lot of Seo's face. Building separate area pages is the most effective way to rank, period. The only exception to this rule is if your domain has huge authority (DA=70+). Then you can rank for different areas with a single page by just mentioning other areas in the page's copy somewhere. The way to rank for other areas is simple....but not easy. You're already going about it the right way. But I also do the following: Ensure the content is 100% unique, or at least 90%+ unique. Change all of the image file names, e.g: new-diaper-cleaning-area.jpg Change all of the image title and alt tags. To do this thoroughly takes a bit longer, but those ranking for the other areas may stick for many years to come, so it's worth the effort. Another secret little tip is to link out to an authority site in that area. So just Google 'Your Area Points of Interest' or 'Your Area Chamber of Commerce' and find the first PR5+ site in the results. Then link to them with a contextual link in the lower half of your page. Good Luck!

Disavow File Submission process?
I would go ahead and submit as this can have an affect on the algorithmic part of the penalty. You should still try to have them removed, especially if a manual penalty is in place and record your steps, but if you know the links are bad you might as well go ahead and disavow them.
