What Navigation strategy should I pursue for this local SEO project? Why?
Thank you Ricky! Answered 2 of my inquiries in the past 24hours I like the option of having a NAV item called "cities we serve" with cities such as San Francisco landing to a Welcome Page having all the services displayed there with proper anchors(like you mentioned). Coming back to the NAV I'd like to see the San francisco splitting into the different service pages(attachment). g6t2AwQ.png

Added the Review rich snippet and rankings have dropped?
Hi guys, Thank you for your great responses! It is actually what I was thinking, nothing to do with the implementation of rich snippet but because Miriam mentioned that you're not supposed to take reviews from third parties then I am little concerned about this. So my question is then where are you supposed to take them from? What is the purpose of the review rich snippet then? I actually took those reviews from Customer lobby and they aren't duplicating anywhere! @Takeshi: The implementation of the rich snippets were made last week and checked the rankings around the same time. Thanks!

Server 500: website deindexed?
It's hard to diagnose the problem without seeing it. Does the Fetch As Google results show any errors or report anything but "Success"? The report just shows you what Google is seeing so look for anything missing from the page. Usually if it can fetch, then Google can see your site. Double check there isn't a noindex added into the meta somewhere.

Why did my rankings drop so fast?
Hey There Just to add to Remus's answer (which was very thorough, thanks for that) - to explain a little bit more about Moz's DA. Each time Moz updates there linkscape index (which open site explorer is based on) there index may change slightly. So you may still have links from sites out there on there net, but every once and a while month Moz will have them in their index and the next month their index might get a little smaller and they may not show, and thus you didn't really lose authority, it just appears that way. So I'd track something like DA with a long term approach (like 6-12 months) and watch for it to go up year over year - especially if your in a space that's not going to pile on links as quickly as like retail etc. Hummingbird was the end of August, and didn't throw off people's rankings so much, so this is very unlikely to have anything to do with the ranking change. I don't see any other major alo changes at that time. (you can check here: http://moz.com/google-algorithm-change) - but it would be worth doing what Remus suggests and digging a little deeper into your analytics, backlinks profile etc and see if you can pinpoint anything more specific. One good approach is to try and pinpoint if it's sitewide or just specific keywords/pages. -Dan

Moz vs google data conflict?
Hi Jarno, Unfortunately I can't really reveal the domain name because of our privacy policy...:( The extra thing I can provide though is that I was able to see only 440 results from google(44). I wasn't able to see the remaining so I have a feeling that Google went a little overboard here. Since the clients offer giveaways you might be right that google detects all the links pointing to this domain that are shared by visitors or prospects. What do you think?

How can I detect Google Webmaster tools without asking my client?
Yes the presence of BingSiteAuth.xml or the lack-thereof doesn't really give you a definitive answer, but it does give you a little insight into the situation. There is really no way to know for sure if they have activated or are using Webmaster Tools accounts unfortunately, unless you have access to their email accounts.
