Can you 404 any forms of URL?
I believe this file is the base template for all the others. So if you put it on the main one, it should be on the others. That is why I suggested to add it and then view the code of the others to verify it is there as well.

seo moz crawl diagnosis
Hi Kenny, So I have made the Bot crawl this form of url http://183.2564.2864 and detected multiple errors. So are you saying that I shouldn't rely on what the crawlers has detected? should I then assign the dev team to provide me an actual dev url before sending them any recommendations to fix errors already detected by the bot? Thanks

Verify it again. You want to make sure that it is verified and crawled when you go live.

Error 403
Those are "access denied" errors. In other words, you are displaying links on your site that can only be accessed if you're logged in. Don't worry, this isn't a really big deal. To fix it you would need to use a server side language, like php or asp, to check if a user is logged in before outputting the links. One really elegant way to do this is to change the destination of the link depending on if the user is logged in or not. If they're not logged in, send them to a registration page telling them the benefits of signing up. This could really boost your conversion rates. Of course, if the link is to an admin section this wouldn't apply.

Duplicate content issue index.html vs non index.html

Duplicate Content Issue
Using this as an example: If google showed duplicate content for http://www.domain.com/seo.html and http://www.domain.com/seo then you would want a 301 .htaccess redirect so anyone accessing the http://www.domain.com/seo.htm version of the page is automatically sent to http://www.domain.com/seo. You can use the following in your .htaccess file. RewriteRule ^/seo.html$ http://www.domain.com/seo/? [R=301,NC,L] The benefit to having no file extension (.html) on the end of your URLs is it allows you to change the underlying framework or your website or even the programming language without the need for adding redirects each time you change (provided the website structure remains the same)

Open site Explorer Findings??
Using OSE, check the DOMAIN AUTHORITY of the sites that the back links are on. What I believe is that website B has better quality and thus higher domain authoritative back links than site A. and/or Website B has more back links than website A. Also, how well optimized are the websites for the keywords you are targeting? That's important.
