  • Domain Authority is logarithmic and compares your site against all of the other sites in the Moz index. Sites can be compared against one another within a specific crawl, but you can't reasonably compare your own site crawl to crawl - since each crawl may end up pulling in information for different sites which therefore adjusts your placement within the overall scheme of authority. Fluctuations between a few points (like 10 and 13) is therefore completely normal. In short - your authority probably hasn't "decreased", it's just that the index from the latest crawl has a higher median number of LRDs than the previous index. I hope that makes sense.

  • If you added in mobile advertising then that could have definitely given it an uplift, but making changes sometimes inspires a new assortment of changes. How are you doing so far this month? Are you seeing the same issues? Have you dropped your CPM & Daily budget?

  • look at other websites that have achieved this goal that you wish to do. you are going to start marketing agency and you want to know how to do the keyword research. Alexa.com compete.com they both feature information on sites other than your own. You can Google similar sites as well. A excellent example of a local SEO site that has succeeded would be whitespark.ca for B2B organic search look at any HubSpot partner http://www.impactbnd.com/ or http://www.kunocreative.com/ everyone these companies are doing well and I list them just so you can try and learn from what they have achieved. Case studies on B2B organic agencies are plentiful at http://www.hubspot.com/partners I hope this helps, Thomas

  • Hey Alan, Not sure if your issue was related to the DDoS attack or not, but I was able to replicate it now. Make sure that there is no spacing before the URL when you paste it into the on-page grader. To track rankings for keywords over time you'll have to set up a Campaign which it sounds like you have. Once you've done that you can find the rankings in the Search section of the dashboard. This is also where you can filter by the label you've tagged your keywords with. Alternatively you can set up keywords rankings in the rank tracker https://moz.com/researchtools/rank-tracker but you won't get the tagging or email report functionality. -Mike

  • Keep in mind that Domain Authority is a Moz metric, and not something that is used by the search engines to help judge a site. We try to approximate what the search engines value, but doing things solely to get an increase in DA without adding real value to the site isn't going to be of much help in the search engines. Things to look at in addition to Moz metrics are: are your clients making more money from your efforts? Are they getting more leads? Are more people visiting their site? Are people staying longer? Has the conversion rate increased? Are you making their phones ring more? Those are also quite important metrics.

  • Yes your landing page most likely does not have as many backlinks as your homepage. I think you would have to get some powerful back links going to your landing page ideally you would use interlinking from your more powerful pages to your relevant pages that lack links. If you are fooling around with the content of your website trying to get one page to rank over another https://marketing.grader.com/report/www.myoptimind.com/overall http://tools.quicksprout.com/analyze/http%3A%2F%2Fwww.myoptimind.com%2Fweb-design-services-philippines#!/ Dynamic URLs were found on the page. Contact Us - http://www.myoptimind.com/?page_id=105 There is a problem with your site is not a responsive website at all it will not fare well on mobile devices. The size of the landing page is over 3 MB making it unfortunately very slow as well. I do not know the speed of your site in the Philippines however you can use a program like this webspeedtest.org Host your site from a server that is close to your target market. If your server is far away for good reason use a CDN and optimize it. Here is a hosting company in or near the Philippines your site loads in 9 seconds out of Argentina and the second pass when it should be compressed and cash it runs 8 seconds http://www.webpagetest.org/result/140623_3C_681/ Load TimeFirst ByteStart RenderDOM ElementsTimeRequestsBytes InTimeRequestsBytes InFirst View 9.928s 1.296s 0.000s 4649.928s 781,518 KB 16.225s 1161,691 KB Repeat View 8.671s 1.150s 0.000s 4648.671s 781,596 KB 14.808s 1171,767 KB fix this by optimizing your site http://www.feedthebot.com/pagespeed/ http://www.terremark.com/data-centers/latin-america/ http://www.duplika.com/hosting-premium

  • Roger (the crawler for Moz) does not fill out forms. I can't see a way to find a listing without doing a search, and OSE would need to be able to browse these listings to be able to see them.

  • Hi there! Sorry I'm so late to the game! My name is Erin, and I'm the Help Team here at Moz. This product pushes your listing's name, address, and phone number out across the web. Moz Local is meant for physical brick and mortar business locations that serve customers at their locations. So, if you're an e-commerce site, Moz Local isn't the best option for you. That said, if you also have a storefront, this could be a good option for this location! Let us know if you have any other questions! Cheers, Erin

  • Thanks for the feedback! I was not the person who set-up the site like this.  I came on board and that is how it is working.  I want it changed but just wanted to make sure I was on the right track.
