  • Lots of web sites with outstanding site visitors don't get that visitors without a doubt because their identify tags are artsy fartsy in place of being direct as like this.  The titles should be aligned with the hunt quantity.  Take a study key-word research for the comedian class, trouble titles, characters, and issues.

  • You are likely to choose pages, topics, and themes from your research and with input from search data, but you need to write for your (human!) readers

  • Think about it less about using the exact phrase and more about writing content for that topic. You need to research who is ranking for this term and ask yourself: is the content there answering the question the user has and can I do better? If you can do better, research and write an article about the best gaming mouse and keyboard for the PS4. It isn't about the exact word order, more the needs of the person search for that.

  • You can check Domain Authority using Moz's Link Explorer, the MozBar (Moz's free SEO toolbar), or in the SERP Analysis section of Keyword Explorer.

  • Hi Zack, Thank you, this is very helpful. I gathered some keywords from the GSC queries section. But can you tell me how you added geo locations to the keywords, pluralization, and other types of basic variations to build out your initial list? I appreciate your help. Andy

  • So the colors are showing if the rankings are moving up and down. You obviously want to score as much green as possible. For high volume keywords, I would keep a more close track of what's happening for them, for lower volume keywords you can likely come back after a few weeks or months as it's not worth the time spent on it.

  • Hi there, I don't think that there is a single tool which can claim to have the most accurate monthly search volumes, they all tend to use different sources and none of them will be able to replicate exactly what happens on Google. Therefore, I think it's important to choose one that you're most comfortable with and use that consistently, then when you use it, don't focus too much on the actual volume of searches and instead focus on the volume of each keyword relative to another. For example, if one keyword has 500 monthly searches, it's unlikely to mean that you will get 500 visits a month if you rank number 1. But if you compare to a keyword where the same tool says that a keyword has 1,000 searches a month, then chances are that this gets more than the first one by a decent amount and could be worth prioritising. I tend to use a combination of Moz and Ahrefs for this, along with the Google Keyword Planner. Hope that helps! Paddy

  • In addition to the links and relevance, I'd also consider if your keywords would be distinct enough from each other if you created two pages and two sets of keywords. If they are quite close to each other, then Google may get confused as to which one to rank which can lead to keyword cannibalisation issues. Generally, I'd only recommend creating two pages and allowing Google to index them if they are distinct enough from each other to avoid this problem. It sounds like this may be tricky if your new page is the same product but simply a free trial. Also remember that you could create two pages and then just stop the new one from being crawled and indexed by Google. This would prevent any ranking problems but allow you to have two pages. I'm not sure if this is worth it in your situation to be honest but I thought I'd mention it just in case. I'm sure that you could use some good design/UX and have both a free trial and a buy now link on one page - it's fairly common.
