Very strange: META descriptions not showing
So I am encountering the same problem as Marcel. My meta descriptions are similar to other pages, but not exact matches. There are variables in each description that change depending on the page you are viewing. My main issue with Marcel's solution is that I don't want to put the exact meta description in the content as it doesn't really flow with the layout/design/messaging. The meta desc works on the SERPs but as an actual part of the copy, it does not fit. Any other suggestions? Could I put the meta desc. at the bottom of the page? Would including NOODP do the trick?

Is RU white hat link building possible?
Anyone who can answer this question is going to be a very rich person! At this point, IMO, trying to do "white hat link building" in a super competitive niche where people do not tend to link naturally is going to be extremely hard. You're right...links still count. But the sites that are killing it in this type of niche are not the ones who are gaining links naturally but the ones that are still able to find ways to trick Google. I think that there are some areas where it is extremely difficult to rank using just white hat methods. I don't have an answer for you unfortunately.

Disavow Links & Paid Link Removal (discussion)
Definitely just disavow. John Mueller from Google said in a hangout that you should not be paying for link removal unless for some reason you feel that you have inconvenienced the site owner and feel that you ought to pay for the link to be removed. In the same hangout a Google employee, Mariya said, "No! Don't pay for link removal! That's what the disavow tool is for." I've transcribed the video and given my thoughts on it here: http://www.hiswebmarketing.com/should-you-pay-for-link-removal/

Help writing a particular URL slug
David, thanks for your insight (you too Rand!). Any chance I could email / call you directly to discuss the idea? There are some implementation issues we'd need to address on our site to be able to incorporate a system like this.

Help me decide between 2 domains! Please!
PlayHazel.com Lumina, you beat me to it, lol. I was going to say that the "play" part of the first domain you listed is much more suggestive, and lets the user know that an action will be required of some sort. (action words, yay!) Plus, it is easier to remember and say, which could help in your branding efforts while the project gets off the ground.

We're new the the Moz community and would like to say hello!
Firstly, we can't thank you enough for the warm welcome and feedback; you've all provided us with invaluable information and reiterated how much there is for us to learn here. We're aware of the importance of driving our brand through interactive content. As has been stated, it's sometimes difficult to initially get started, but there are a lot of good resources out there to help out. Development has been kept in-house so far, and our main focus is to really begin ironing out this side of our business. We're definitely at the right place to do that. Love the insight; thanks again!

What should I do to remove duplicate listings on my moz campaign?
If there's pages to which you don't have access that are duplicates, you may just need to ignore them. Right now, we don't have a good "ignore this issue" system in Moz Analytics, but it's something we're working on (just behind a bunch of other customer asks that are priorities). If you can access those pages and want to fix them both for Moz but, more importantly, so Google and other engines don't see duplicates, check out these two pieces on fixing dupes: http://moz.com/learn/seo/duplicate-content and (specifically related to Moz Analytics campaigns) http://moz.com/help/guides/search-overview/crawl-diagnostics/duplicate-content

Pinterest and cloud hosting
You could consider using a different CDN set up. You could use something like MaxCDN and host them locally and in the cloud. That way you would have direct access to the images on your server as well for pinning and other social media purposes.
