Hello! Sam from Moz's Help Team here! So -  after being found, newly discovered links have the ability to be populated into our index in about 3 days. However, there are a lot of factors which can affect our ability to find and index links to your site. It's important to note that we are always adding new data to our index, but it may take some time for us to discover backlinks to your site based on factors like crawlability of the referring pages, quality of the links and the referring pages, and more. If you are not seeing links that you know you have, you may want to make sure that they can be indexed. It is also a good idea to check to see if we've indexed the page on which that link is found. If we haven't indexed the referring page yet, you won't see your link in our index. You can also add links to Link Tracking Lists. Once you add a link to your tracking lists we will add that page to be crawled. As long as it is accessible to our crawler, you should see the link in our index as soon as we can index those pages. Lastly, I have a great guide here with some things to check around why we may not have found your links yet: https://moz.com/help/link-explorer/link-building/moz-isnt-finding-your-links If you'd like any further information, please feel free to pop us an email over at help@moz.com. We do also have a great guide to Domain Authority just here: https://moz.com/learn/seo/domain-authority

Hi, No, MOZ does not have any option to disavow links and you should not be worried about disavowing links in Moz. Instead, disavow them from the Google Search Console because Google is the search engine that ranks your site according to proper linking.

Hi, Great question, Link Explorer and the Links tab of Moz Pro Campaigns are both tied to our Link index, which is constantly updating. After being found, newly discovered links have the ability to be populated into our index in about 3 days. When discovered or lost links are found, we'll update our database to reflect those changes in your scores and link counts. We prioritize the links we crawl based on a machine learning algorithm to mimic Google's index. This does not mean that DA and PA will change with every data update, though; it will only change if we find new link data for a respective site. I'm sorry I can't tell you exactly when your DA will update it depends on when we find new equity passing backlinks to your site. You can read more about our new Link Explorer tool and our index here. You can also read more about how our Link index compares with our competitors here https://backlinko.com/best-backlink-checker Feel free to reach out to help@moz.com with any further questions

Hi snjaoieiw, To get a detailed answer from Moz staff on what DA is, you might consider searching the Q&A forum. In short, though, it is a Moz metric (not a Google or Bing metric) that takes into consideration the number (and quality) of backlinks your website has. That said, have you been working on building up high quality backlinks? -Zack

  • Thanks for following up with me. As I mentioned, the keyword difficulty score is actually based primarily on the websites that are already ranking for the site and how hard it would be to knock those pages out of the top 10 results. If the pages ranking for that keyword, even if the search volume for that keyword is low, it would be difficult to beat the pages that are already ranking. For example, the keyword "clinique visuelle chibougamau" is considered to be a competitve keyword because there are several sites ranking for that keyword that have a very high domain authority (http://screencast.com/t/Y1SiElwUbGd) and several that have a moderately high domain authority (http://screencast.com/t/vtIlKWyLT), so it would be very difficult to push those pages out of the rankings because powerful sites tend to dominate these results and links in quantity and quality (at both the domain and page level) are required to earn top ranking to push those site out of the rankings. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions. -Chiaryn

  • This is good data, however we are still wondering if the "search engine" will see those pages as mentioned above as duplicates? Does the SEOmoz data reflect the search engines algo? It's too bad GWT does not provide this data...

  • Hi Thomas - dont worry - the SEOMoz crawl doesn't actually take into account your canonical tags at the moment but it is something they are looking into, so I wouldn't worry you are not the first to report this... Have a look at this for peace of mind http://www.seomoz.org/q/canonical-tag-and-duplicate-content-report

  • The position provided by SEOmoz is through a query in a unpersonalized search + using a specific tld.(.com/ca/uk) What Google provide in the SEO reports in GA is an average of one query or multiple queries also and based on users which they may have personalized results on or off ( and this might affect your rankings ) hence the difference. hope this helps

  • I am getting 403 errors for this crazy url: http://creativemediaalliance.com/Making money from a web site is never easy%2C but Google makes it as effortless as possible with its AdSense program. Google Adsense is a service that can help you display relevant%2C unobtrusive Google ads on your website's content pages and earn money. The best part of the Adsense program is that it's FREE and easy to set up. You simply get online and apply for an account through Google. It's an easy process that takes mere minutes to complete. Once your ads are in place you can sit back and start cashing your checks%2C without ever having to touch it again. Go to www.google.com/adsense%2C get an account and start raking in the cash. How do I get rid of this error? I am also getting 404 errors for pages that do not exist anymore. How do I get rid of those?

  • Hola Miguel, Your choice should be between .es or .net. The .net is considered one of the best Top Level Domains so that would be first choice if I were building the site in the US. The .es domain would be a very good choice for a country specific domain and pretty much act like a .com for the country of Spain. My thought would be still to use the .net if possible it is more universal and easier to transport into other languages which sounds like something you want to do. Your questions.. Should I try to position each page separately? Or just alternate using "arte terapia" and "arteterapia" throughout the site? Don't try and compete with yourself for identical (ish) terms. Pick the one term that is "correct" or used / accepted the most and optimize for it. You'll find the near identical term still sends you results. Should my priority now be to choose one of these (probably arteterapiabarcelona.es) and try to get some backlinks or use them all? It would make much more sense to pick a single domain and do the hard work it takes to bring it to the top of the SERP's the it would be to try and do it for 2 or more domains in the same industry and the same time. In short focus on 1 domain, that is plenty of work. Are.cat domains as powerful for people doing searches in catalonia region as .es for people doing searches in spain? I don't know the answer to this question. Should she use Adsense? Any good tutorial on how to calculate the cost of that¿ Adsense is free (adsense is adding other peoples ads to your site) Were you thinking of Adwords? This is will create ads for your site on other sites, and you can pay by cpc (cost per click) or by the amount of ads displayed. Google will further allow you to setup a daily budget so you can spend as little or as much as you like. Since this is a Google product there is tons of help available on Google help, or try Googleing "adwords tutorial 2012" for some videos. Well I hope that helps.
