Hello! Sam from Moz's Help Team here! So -  after being found, newly discovered links have the ability to be populated into our index in about 3 days. However, there are a lot of factors which can affect our ability to find and index links to your site. It's important to note that we are always adding new data to our index, but it may take some time for us to discover backlinks to your site based on factors like crawlability of the referring pages, quality of the links and the referring pages, and more. If you are not seeing links that you know you have, you may want to make sure that they can be indexed. It is also a good idea to check to see if we've indexed the page on which that link is found. If we haven't indexed the referring page yet, you won't see your link in our index. You can also add links to Link Tracking Lists. Once you add a link to your tracking lists we will add that page to be crawled. As long as it is accessible to our crawler, you should see the link in our index as soon as we can index those pages. Lastly, I have a great guide here with some things to check around why we may not have found your links yet: https://moz.com/help/link-explorer/link-building/moz-isnt-finding-your-links If you'd like any further information, please feel free to pop us an email over at help@moz.com. We do also have a great guide to Domain Authority just here: https://moz.com/learn/seo/domain-authority

Hi, No, MOZ does not have any option to disavow links and you should not be worried about disavowing links in Moz. Instead, disavow them from the Google Search Console because Google is the search engine that ranks your site according to proper linking.

Hi, Great question, Link Explorer and the Links tab of Moz Pro Campaigns are both tied to our Link index, which is constantly updating. After being found, newly discovered links have the ability to be populated into our index in about 3 days. When discovered or lost links are found, we'll update our database to reflect those changes in your scores and link counts. We prioritize the links we crawl based on a machine learning algorithm to mimic Google's index. This does not mean that DA and PA will change with every data update, though; it will only change if we find new link data for a respective site. I'm sorry I can't tell you exactly when your DA will update it depends on when we find new equity passing backlinks to your site. You can read more about our new Link Explorer tool and our index here. You can also read more about how our Link index compares with our competitors here https://backlinko.com/best-backlink-checker Feel free to reach out to help@moz.com with any further questions

Hi snjaoieiw, To get a detailed answer from Moz staff on what DA is, you might consider searching the Q&A forum. In short, though, it is a Moz metric (not a Google or Bing metric) that takes into consideration the number (and quality) of backlinks your website has. That said, have you been working on building up high quality backlinks? -Zack

  • In this case, capitalization doesn't matter, Danielle. The SEOMoz tool will treat both upper & lower case the same. Paul

  • On my team we cringe when we here the words "Keywords" and "Rankings" like a kid at Hogwarts hearing "Voldemort" I say take the time that the rankings are not showing to focus on other more productive items like ROI and coming up with new core metrics to show value. Rankings are becoming less and less important..so take the time the future SEO Gods have bestowed on you and plan past KW rankings

  • Seems subjective to me; I would make the call based on whether you're really tracking multiple campaigns or one.  Are all of the keywords related to a single core business or marketing plan?  Keep it together.  But if you have distinct businesses or major product areas that happen to live under a single domain, those would be good candidates to be broken up into separate campaigns here.

  • SEMRush is exactly what you are looking for. Just plug in a URL and you will see the top organic keywords as well as PPC keywords any website is currently ranking for, the number of searches each month and the estimated percentage of traffic any particular keyword is responsible for generating. It's very useful to quickly find out the keywords your competitors are targeting and ranking for, as well as on your own site to uncover keywords that you may be ranking 19th for that you weren't even aware of.

  • It looks like your current set up is smart- the domain authority wont change regardless of www since that is a subdomain. Also, the rel canonical redirection strategy  would not be as effective as a 301 redirect in most cases.

  • Hey Steve, Thanks for writing in!  I am sorry you are experiencing some issues with your Google Analytics, looks like we are in the process of having this issue looked at on our end to see what is going on.  While it is unusual because of the frequency that it is happening, unfortunately whenever you deal with open authentication like what we have going on with Google Analytis, you will run into situations where the connection is sometimes not the most reliable. Please know that we are doing everything we can to have this looked at to see if there is something going on.  Anyone who is also experiencing this can give us an email at help@seomoz.org and we will do our best to resolve it ASAP Thank you again for writing in, you should hear from us soon! Best, Peter SEOmoz Help Team.

  • Hi Christopher, Thanks for writing in with a great question. Unfortunately, there is no way to manually submit links to our index manually. All of the information we collect comes from an actual crawl of data in the internet, starting with the top 10 billion URLs with the highest MozRank. We then crawl from the top down until we've crawled about 70 billion pages and then collate the data that was collected by following all of those links. The information is all automatically collected at this time. You may consider adding this as a feature request so our product department might look into adding the ability to submit links in the future. Here's the feature request forum we use to collect ideas: http://seomoz.zendesk.com/forums/293194-seomoz-pro-feature-requests You can add your request to submit links to the index and vote for other features you'd like to see and suggest your own, both of which help our product team in deciding what to build next. Let me know if you have any other questions. -Chiaryn

  • Thanks. Should I set it up as a Subdomain, root domain, or folder? Using your suggestion, they all return some kinfd of error. For example using the homepage url http://www.pcf.org/site/c.leJRIROrEpH/b.5699537/k.BEF4/Home.htm I get the following results: subdomain: You've decided to set up a subdomain campaign, but entered the subfolder path: www.pcf.org/site/c.leJRIROrEpH/b.5699537/k.BEF4. Don't worry, we'll switch that for you and crawl everything on your subdomain: www.pcf.org. If you meant to set this up to only crawl pages in the subfolder /site/c.leJRIROrEpH/b.5699537/k.BEF4, click "Go back and Change" and choose the subfolder option in step 1. root domain: You've decided to set up a root domain campaign, but entered the subfolder path: www.pcf.org/site/c.leJRIROrEpH/b.5699537/k.BEF4. Don't worry, we'll switch that for you and crawl everything in the subfolder /site/c.leJRIROrEpH/b.5699537/k.BEF4. subfolder: It looks like you submitted a URL that relates to an individual file: www.pcf.org/site/c.leJRIROrEpH/b.5699537/k.BEF4/Home.htm rather than a folder: www.pcf.org/site/c.leJRIROrEpH/b.5699537/k.BEF4. Don’t worry, we’ll switch that for you and crawl everything in that folder instead. If you meant to set this up for a different folder, click ”Go back and change” and enter a different path. To complicate things further, as you move through the site, the only part of the URL that starys consistent 100% of the time is: http://www.pcf.org/site/c.leJRIROrEpH/ Depending on where you are on the site, it appends the url. For example: One page is http://www.pcf.org/site/c.leJRIROrEpH/b.6185669/k.9792/Sherry_Galloway.htm while another is http://www.pcf.org/site/c.leJRIROrEpH/b.5800843/k.94DE/Everyday_Heroes.htm

  • Not to my knowledge. Anything that claims to do so is probably simply analyzing backlinks for anchor text, keyword density, or looking at the keywords meta tag - so the data you get back will only be hypothetical as to what your competitors maybe or should be targeting... not necessarily the keywords they are targeting or ranking well for. SEMrush.com claims to do such a task; however, I personally do not believe that it does an accurate job. At least in my opinion. Good luck. Mike

  • If we had a company doing articles submissions and they stop doing it, would this affect DA score and the keyword rankings?  Like I said, I haven't changed anything to the site except taking 50 unranked keywords from t he campaign and adding it to our other two websites campaign.
