  • Content suggestion has a lot of data. I probably can also find some prominent keywords with the keyword tool and by combining both I should be fine to develop good content. Is it the way you look at it too ?

  • Yes that's right. But there are better ways of researching keywords. My favourites in order: Google search Moz keyword explorer. I shot a video of it here for page titles: https://carouselprojects.co.uk/crafting-killer-meta-titles/ This is for the beginner but I hope it's informative Regards NIgel

  • Hi chris There can be a number of different types of migration. If you are talking about a migration from http to https then it is likely that both versions of the pages will persist for a while until Google reindexes everything. Whatever you can check what is being indexed by performing a site search as follows. Do a site search in Google - site:yourdomain(no http or https) inurl:http://  and see how many of the old pages are left, If this is splitting out content to other country base subfolders then teh same thing can apply. It is quite common to see a temporary drop and it can take a while for all pages to be indexed properly. You can try fetching Google (in search console) but in my experience, it is just a matter of time before things start to bounce back upwards. Just check that you have the appropriate 301 redirects set up in your htaccess file, that you have set up the preferred domain in search console and that the appropriate hreflang tags are set up on the site to point to the different country and language combinations, to avoid any duplication issues. https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/189077?hl=en I hope this helps Regards Nigel

  • Hello Yosepgr, Are these reviews unique to your website, or are they from a review aggregator like epinions? Are they reviewing products, or a business? Generally speaking, I would show the best ones on the page you want to rank, and show the rest either after an event (like Load more), or even on another page, like Amazon does. It all depends on the situation though, so the more info you can provide the better.

  • Hi manynau I would just do it anyway for best practice but it's not necessary as you have already said to ignore this URL and use the canonical. Sometimes even though a page is canonicalised to another it can occasionally pop up in Google and when it does you do not want it to be blank. Regards Nigel

  • If you are targeting the .com at English speaking countries, then why start targeting other sites at specific countries rather than languages? If you targeted the French language (in which you should not use .fr), you'd target more people than targeting France. Based on your situation, I would have one site with translated content, rather than country-specific content. This would allow you to use the strength of one domain while giving your users the right content in their language. Using hreflang tags between translated content is how you alert the search engines that the content is the same, just translated.

  • Hey vtmoz–I'd recommend you resolve the issue _at the source. _Meaning, fix the broken links at their link location (where they're being linked to). You could 301 these 404s to another location on your site, but then you'll just have a bunch of expired, internal links that 301. If these 404 links don't have backlinks, as you say, then there's no page authority to keep. You can find this in GSC (webmaster tools). LMK if you have any questions. pl1sTjF xGMGq3y

  • Hi sne I think the first thing to understand these are not ranking factors in themselves, it is the content of the page which is most important. H1 and H2 for me are the two most important headers. H1 - set this above all content to help define the theme of the page to the reader. You will already have set the theme in the title tag. So make sure that the H1 either emulates the primary keyword set in there (Remember title should be Primary Keyword/phrase | Secondary Keyword/ Phrase | Company) so either use that or a synonym - i.e. something very closely related that conveys the meaning of the content. H2 - Use these to break up the main body of content into sub-sections of the main content. So for example, if your content only has 300 words because that is all you need to get the point across then you may not need any H2s. If the content extends to over 1000 words because that is what you need to make your point then consider breaking this up with H2s. The H2s will help enhance the overall SEO strength. It forces you to think of a sub-theme for that part of the content and if all sub-themes are subsets of the main theme, will enhance the overall SEO value. Don't use it as an opportunity to introduce a new them that should have its own page as you will dilute the strength of the page. Keep it all related. Get a great image in there which has the alt tag the same as the primary keyword and you are laughing! You can use H3s and H4s if necessary to head up other minor areas of content - but their use is only really as a separator which may be bolded to help the reader understand the content better. Don't be thinking that they have a specific SEO role because they don't. You could equally just bold a word in paragraph text. I hope that helps - Regards Nigel

  • Hi Ruth, Thanks for your help! Each tag is on a separate location page and uses static JSON-LD markup in tag manager.

  • Hi glj Maybe I can help. When you search 'Dell G3 15 3579 review' the new review page is 6th When you search 'Dell G3 3579 review' the older page comes up at position 1 So you essentially have two different (albeit closely related) keywords. One with the 15 in and one without. Dell G3 3579 review is sixth because you have very similar content on the Dell G3 15 3579 page. You are cannibalizing/diluting the page strength of this content with the new review. If you really must have this page: https://www.glj.io/dell-g7-g5-g3-gaming-laptops-whats-really-the-difference/ (which has '3579' 31 times in the HTML! ) - then make just one reference to Dell G3 3579 and use that as an anchor to link to the new page. Also use the shorter keyword 'Dell G3 3579 review' with and without the word 'review' on that new page + an Alt in an image. You will then strengthen that page for the shorter search. It is quite common for blogs to duplicate content in this way. You just need to be aware that mentioning the Dell G3 3579 one page has an effect on the other. I hope this help, Regards Nigel
