Date Display
Hi Mozers,
Is there any benefit of having the date that the content was updated displayed at the very top of a content page rather than at the bottom?
Would this impact our EAT?
Thanks,

What is this Interactive SERP Feature Called?
Hi Mozers,
The interactive SERP feature that appears when you're searching for hotels nearby. It lets you input specific dates and number of adults and then lists different hotels nearby, their ratings and where they are located on a map.
Two questions:
- What is that called?
- How do hotels get pulled in? Schema?
Thanks!

HTTPs to HTTP Links
Hi Mozers,
I have a question about the news that Google Chrome will start blocking mixed content starting in December 2019. That starting in December 2019, users that are presented insecure content will be presented a toggle allowing those Chrome users to unblock the insure resources that Chrome is blocking. And in January 2020, Google will remove that toggle option an will just start blocking mixed content or insecure web pages.
Not sure what this means. What are the implications of this for a HTTPS page that has an HTTP link?
Thanks,
Yael

There are over 200 pages from our site that have a meta tag "noindex" but are STILL being indexed.
What else can I do to remove them from the Index?

Images on their own page?
Hi Mozers,
We have images on their own separate pages that are then pulled onto content pages.
Should the standalone pages be indexable?
On the one hand, it seems good to have an image on it's own page, with it's own title.
On the other hand, it may be better SEO for crawler to find the image on a content page dedicated to that topic.
Unsure.
Would appreciate any guidance!

Are In-Page Tabs still detrimental to SEO?
Hi Mozers,
Are in-page tabs still detrimental for SEO?
In-page tabs: allow you to alternate between views within the same context, not to navigate to different areas. As in one long HTML page that just looks like it's divided into different pages via tabs that you can click between.
Each tab has it's own URL, which I guess is for analytics tracking purposes?

URL Parameters to Ignore
Hi Mozers,
**We have a glossary of terms made up of a main page that lists out ALL of the terms, and then individual pages per alphabet letter that limit the results to that specific alphabet letter. These pages look like this: **
https://www.XXXX.XXX/publications/dictionaries/XXX-terms?expand=A
https://www.XXXX.XXX/publications/dictionaries/XXX-terms?expand=B
https://www.XXXX.XXX/publications/dictionaries/XXX-terms?expand=C
https://www.XXXX.XXX/publications/dictionaries/XXX-terms?expand=D
etc.
If I'd like Google to remove all of these "expand=" pages from the index, such that only the main page is indexed, what is the exact parameter that I should ask Google to ignore in Search Console?
"expand=" ?
Just want to make sure! Thanks for the help!!!

Google Search Operators Acting Strange
Hi Mozers,
I'm using search operators for a count of how many pages have been indexed for each section of the site. I was able to download the first 1000 pages from Google Search Console but there are more than 1000 pages indexed, so I'm using operators for a count (even if I can't get the complete list of indexed URLs). [Although, if there is a better way, PLEASE let me know!]
Anyway, in terms of search operators: from my understanding, the more general the URL, the more results should come up. However, when I put in the domain site:www.XXX it gives me FEWER results than when I put in site:www.XXX/. When I add the backslash to the end of the domain, it gives me MORE results. And when I put in site:www.AAA/BBB/CC it gives me MORE results than when I put in site:www.AAA/BBB.
What's with this?
