Do the back-links go wasted when anchor text or context content doesn't match with page content?
Hi VT, Keep in mind that when page A is linking page B (either internally or externally) it is the first link to page B that shows up in the html of Page A that lends any link juice to page B. The rest don't count for anything as far as SEO. Often that link is in the menu or breadcrumbs, rather than in the page copy. That said, while it's nice to keep the anchor text to internal resources tight, the ultimate impact of that anchor text on internal resources isn't that great.

How can I solive this ?
It looks like there is still a connection timeout for the non-www version of your site and robots.txt file I've run a test using this tool again http://httpstatus.io/ And this is what I'm seeing: https://www.screencast.com/t/ll7WdleY9f Our crawler always starts with the non-www version of your site and crawls from there. To fix this I would recommend speaking to your website administrator or host about correctly redirecting your non-www pages so we can crawl your site. I hope this helps! Jo

Keyword Explorer how can I uncover all phrases relating to a single keyword?
Hey there! Sorry for any confusion about this. Selecting that "only includes keywords that contain all the query terms" is the best way to search for phrases that include your particular keyword. However, when looking at Keyword Suggestions you'll see a maximum of 1000 phrases, so you won't get every single possible keyword from that query. We try to provide the most relevant keywords in that sample. I hope that helps clear things up!

I am looking for my "Flywheel" that can help me scale link building
Hi Jonathan, Thanks for the question. Here are a few couple of sources of great content / great campaigns that I usually refer to: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Z2CSidq-6fxOY1YJLu-MY-DdTqWKiSL4gsuSGVC42r0/edit (curated by Rand) https://www.informationisbeautifulawards.com/showcase?award=2017&pcategory=winner&type=awards - very data led but naturally evergreen because you can refresh the data when new sets come out Hopefully that helps! Are Unlinked Mentions Coming Back in the New OSE?
Hey, Thanks for reaching out to us! Unfortunately I am not sure if this will be on our roadmap for Link Explorer but If you're looking for unlinked mentions, though, I'd recommend Fresh Web Explorer! Its whole purpose is to find mentions of your site that aren't linked to, so you can reach out and hopefully get a link! You can read all about that tool over in our Help Hub pages, here: https://moz.com/help/guides/research-tools/fresh-web-explorer Eli

Video Hosting & Embedding
Hi Becky, As Joseph mentioned, Wistia and YouTube are two very different platforms with different goals. There are times when using both is a great strategy! So it depends on the goals you've set. YouTube is an entire platform you can build on to increase brand awareness, revenue, and get your name out there. Some businesses/marketers entire strategy is within the YouTube world. Wistia is geared towards making sure any on-site videos is as ideal as can be. So, if you are just focused on creating videos to enhance your product pages, Wistia is a great option. However, if you wanted to create videos showing off your products in a unique way and build an audience/following outside of just your site, YouTube would be your best bet. Hope that helps!

Sudden downfall of the results, intelligents can easily find the solution
I just got done reading the discussion between Brian Dean and Gianluca Fiorelli in reference to the "200 Google Ranking Factors" slightly throwing me for a loop on my thoughts for this. If we went by Brian, AKA Backlinko's methodology of site level factors theres kind of a mechanism behind the URL Extensions usage, and the actual domain name/subdomain. Assuming that Brian's factors are close to Googles actual algorithm and we take it to be accurate, the trump card is an exact match domain. second to that is when the site contains keywords in the beginning of name but not the entire phrase and then next is keywords anywhere in domain. Then Sub Domains, and lastly url extensions. for your 2nd url, I wouldn't use the url extension you selected because it's in the domain name. I kind of had a similar link structure on my first drop shipping store and I kept using "Burlesque" for every single thing, and I don't think it gave me an edge. One of my best structured sites was an adult affiliate domain and I basically took 1 thing that was pretty much just 1 single genre and just completely dissected it into hair color, eye color, nationality, wardrobe, celebrities on and on and on. Basically what I'm eluding to is that im not knowledgable in this particular vastu buildings, but you certainly are. Perhaps the way to structure it would be based upon different sub types, maybe even the historians that developed and found their variances, like.. Silpa Prakasa? Because then you'd have more keywords and an exansion of relevance in your content increasing the odds of longtails. As far as clarity and simplifying the obstacle at hand which is to get in the top ranks of the key term I think perhaps something innovative and unique implemented into your content would add some new flavor and obtain the audiences reactions necessary to boost you back into the game. Videos Infographs Images with superiorly optimized dimensions and metrics that include captions I think those would be game breaking! Where it stands your domain's DA matches the difficulty of the key term. So I theorize adding some amazing to the content would be the game changer needed! You see "Stealing Backlinks my little baby blog couldn't possibly make board against neil patel and brian dean in the race. But image number 4 was number 1 for like a month. Google has some amazing dynamic to it's algorithm and if you produce high grade stuff, it knows! dDuM7jJ.png

Keyword Cannibalization on Professional Service Firm
Good tip, Sean! I wouldn't say that content on the homepage will completely resolve David's question, but it will certainly help! David's scenario is one that every multi-practitioner or multi-location local business has to grapple with: how to ensure that a set of pages that basically share a topic are uniquely useful, as well as optimized. It takes some doing!

Domain Authority Historic Differences?
Thanks Meghan, I appreciate the feedback and I understand the need to adjust, but using domain authority as a reliable KPI is becoming increasingly difficult, particularly when the historic data between the 2 models contradict one another. These are changes we have to report out on to clients, can we expect additional roll-outs in the near future? Thanks as always!

Internation SEO question
Hi Cassio I would use the .com for the US but you must remember to add an hreflang tag to both sites pointing to each other. This avoids Google thinking that they present duplicate content. Language-Location Read all about it here: https://moz.com/learn/seo/hreflang-tag and here: [https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/189077?hl=en](https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/189077?hl=en) Done correctly you won't have any problems. If you then went to other countries you could use subdirectories of the .com so say example.com/es for Spain. I hope that helps Regards Nigel

Could another site copying my content hurt my ranking?
Nigel's right in saying that despite everyone loving to say duplicate content has no negative impact on you it definitely does. I've recently had some creep online stalker clone throw away websites of some of my recent backlinks in an effort to cause me ranking issues. I submitted them all to Google for fishing/credential harvest accounts. Reasonable Cost for Adwords PPC Set Up?
The more data you have on something the better. You don't necessarily have to get several thousand hits a day to get accurate data in the A/B split testing process by any means, and most people don't. You could just take the stats for the week/month to base your modifications upon. The majority of my websites get less than 100 hits a day, pretty much just that one site does that well and the conversion rate is atrocious, luckily it's all organic traffic. Sorry for any confusion caused by my old school poker term "Bankroll." I'm not suggesting you invest all that the money into the ppc campaign by any means. What I meant by bankroll is that you have that as a reserved amount to ensure you can keep it up. I doubt anyones going to keep going and not throw in the towel once they've lost half their stack. Especially if they haven't made a single conversion within 5 of your 10 racks of clicks hehe.

Reasonable Cost for Link Building Service
You should contact SEOs and get as much info about backlinks criteria as you can and then you have 2 options: outreach by yourself or hire the SEO specialist that you can trust. Here are some tools for outreach that can help: https://moz.com/blog/14-easy-ways-to-find-any-email-address-in-10-minutes-or-less And there is not fixing price for a link building per time. Backlinks differ in metrics and the price depends on the relevancy (niche) and quality of a website (outbound links, content, permanent links or not etc). Compare prices from different sellers and make up your decision.

Thanks for the update Ian! Also read something in Twitter from Rand about this issue. Its great to hear that Moz keeps track on the bugs and when they screw up, embrace the problem, do the best to solve it, even rolling back. Keep up like this! Best wishes. GR

Backlink Dilemma & Typewriters (Seriously...Typewriters)
I agree with Paddy here. I'm not suggesting you use typewriter links to link to thermal label content - let me make that clear. You should still go after links specifically to the main thermal labelling business pages.
