  • From what I've encountered Johnathan, one of the easiest successful websites I have made in which it was completely thriving and I was succeeding in obtaining about 2-4 thousand unique visitors a day. I maintained this with reddit and a massive sized tumblr, Google had 0 involvement with me for a couple months. After my Twitter profile was ranking in the top 5 of my target keyword twice, that second time for almost a week juiced up on celebrity engagement, they finally did something on my behlaf. It wasn't anything like hand extended, or a cold beer in hand. more like, they stopped blocking the doorway, how kind. What I'm getting at is for some reason none of my lacking schema seemed to matter whatsoever or popunder script, the popup on the videos, the lack of adding nofollow tags to my questionable affiliates, and minus using yoast and making everything have 2 green dots, my site was highly questionable on several on site issues. But at the end of the day it seems if you make Google money, that's what matters apparently.

  • Like Nigel said, pretty much the only reason I would ever aim to try and put something in front of my root domain name, would be because I'm trying to pass the domain off as something it's not. So whether that is affiliate links that nobody wants, or a federal prison sentence for taking Kali linux endeavors a little to far, is not for me to know

  • Hi Nigel, The website https://www.residentiebosrand.be/ is supposed to be ranking on 'residentie bosrand'. I know authority plays a big part in ranking on keywords. But other sites which are not as relevant as this one rank higher. Do we just have to wait for the website to rank on this keyword?

  • Andrew, If you are asking your question in terms of SEO (vs usability) keep in mind that when there are several links on a page to the same external resource, only the first one of those links carries any SEO weight. Also, if a page contains important info for the visitor, it should be linked to from numerous pages on your site.

  • Hey! Thanks for contacting us! The Spam Score in the new Moz Pro Campaigns' Links feature and Link Explorer reports is quite a bit different than the previous version of Spam Score. Instead of seeing the number of flags you'll see a percentage number. This is the percentage of sites with similar features to the site you're checking that have been penalized by Google. You can read more about Spam Score on our Help Hub - including an awesome video that explains how to use the score as well as a run down of the 27 signals we use (factors) when calculating spam score: You can read more about Link Explorer metrics here  https://moz.com/help/guides/link-explorer#frequently-asked-questions Let me know if you have any other questions or if you have specific questions about your account, feel free to reach out to help@moz.com so we can take a closer look! • I'm uncertain about one thing regarding your question. Are you currently capturing their phone numbers and just looking for a way to automate the process of separating conversions from non buyers? Or are you asking if there is a way Google analytics will retroactively provide you that information? If it's option 2 the answers no, however automation of conversions and producing a email/SMS list from leads based upon a point system of you own creation, real time tracking with or without javascript, Unlimited list size for your email captures, landing pages every single thing a marketer needs for 100% free, look into Mautic. g-tTM0fNZyQ

  • Hi Ewerton, I choosed spanish from Spain because I'm from Spain and my clients are from here, and they want better results for Spain than for other countries in Latin America. Some projects with this conditions have ranked well also in many countries in Latin America. In my opinion you should choose the spanish version of the country in which you prefer better positioning, the one you have. And if you want to rank better in other countries you have to get links from those countries. I mean, if you want to rank better in Spain, try to get good quality backlinks of your niche that are from Spain, specially those with .es and also .cat (Catalonia domain), but focus specially on .es domains or .com domains that you see that correspond to spanish people. The same for Mexico but with .mx bakclinks. But with patience, don't build a lot of backlinks together. Best wishes and good luck!!

  • In my opinion, all the keywords related to a specific search, add value to it, and the more keywords you mention related to that search, Google considers that you are covering more about that field, which is positive. In fact, I personally use to analyze the most mentioned keywords by the sites on the first positions on SERP's in Google, usually the top 10, and try to include all those keywords in the texts of my website, or a important part of them, as long as there is a natural and logical way of mention them, this includes brand keywords.

  • Hi Robin, Nigel has offered some good advice here - the one thing I would also add is that you may want to set up mobile switchboard tags to make it clear to Google that the desktop version is the canonical version for PCs and the mobile version is canonical for mobile. See more info here: https://developers.google.com/search/mobile-sites/mobile-seo/separate-urls#annotations-for-desktop-and-mobile-urls

  • It definitely passes link juice, one of my extortion activism groups recently was attempting to stop an individual from monetizing a domain that publicly shames people. What the black hat hacker had done was identify dead links on a NY Times article and wanted the DoFollow links from such a authority The individual purchased the domains and redirected them to his site and luckily we caught it on a backlink check and one of the group members was a journalist that was able to get them to remove the links.

  • Hi there! Sam from Moz's Help Team here!:) You can absolutely download your current list of keywords to a CSV - all you would need to do is head to your specific campaign, and over to the 'Rankings' tab. Scroll down, and just above 'Tracked Keywords Overview' to the right you'll see a little 'CSV' button:). If you need any further help with this, do pop over a message to help@moz.com and we'll be happy to help you further!

  • For sure, Kevin! Real estate is definitely one of those verticals (like hotels) that has long since been chiefly taken over in the SERPs by directories and rich features. Hard-to-impossible to outrank TripAdvisor if you're marketing a hotel, or Zillow if you're a realtor. Likely, you'll just have to make sure you're listed on the directories, go after the longer tail organically, and then rely on social, WOMM, etc. to bring in those leads.

  • Hi Nigel, obviously the content shouldn't be the same. There are many things to say about each topic, or many ways to say similar things without saying the same...

  • I've tried this before, but I have to say that I'm not a huge fan of SEO plug-ins in general. While I didn't really see any real negative consequences, I think that if the WordPress site isn't constantly curated, plug-ins tend to make a mess of the site's architecture and meta data. For WordPress, the only plug-in I really use is Yoast for it's ease of use and how it makes fundamental on-site optimization easier.
