You're welcome John. Glad I could help. If you want to keep an eye on these, I don't mind setting you a login up and you can track the phrases from my system? Let me know if you do and I will drop this over on e-mail to you. Andy

I agree with Andy on this one. That resource from Google will be a huge help for you. One thing to consider would be to you might also find some useful answers in this video from Matt Cutts. Where Google+ Local Gets Listings?
Hi CyberAllen, Please check out the Moz infographic for the Local Search Ecosystem 2013: http://moz.com/blog/2013-local-search-ecosystems This will show you the many places from which Google pulls data. Often, Google will automatically create a local business listing for any business it finds information about. But, if you're looking to get a business listed that you are promoting, follow Moosa's instructions, provided that the business in question is compliant with all of the following guidelines: https://support.google.com/places/answer/107528?hl=en

CHange insite Urls structure
As per my information sub domains are considered to be the part of the same domain for quite some time now (http://www.seroundtable.com/subdomains-google-webmaster-tools-13960.html) but as per my experience the sub domain value is not as powerful as sub directory so the ranking drop is very much expected. My advice to you is to sit with the IT person and come up with some alternate solutions ot this problem and in case this is the only solution, in that case plan a powerful marketing strategy and execute it once you restructure the domains to reduce the loss to minimum. Hope this helps!

Domain Authority Just Wont Budge
Although EGLO is right! The DA and PA has nothing to do with your website rankings and I literally seen examples where a website with more DA and PA are ranking lower than the one with less DA and PA. But if you want theory why your DA is stuck to one place or has gone down so the easiest answer to this will be because of the Moz.com’s index update. Hope this helps!

Is There Google 6th page penalty?
ajax is great for loading content on demand without reloading the page, but for content you want to rank I would not be using it. For dynamic content you want to rank you should load on initial request to server. Using solutions like you are just get very messy, and are more work then doing as I suggest

Local SEO for a company with 3 sites, for 3 different type of businesses
Unfortunately, it is still the same issue. I just made this up: Mess with the NAP, deal with the crap. There is no way I would do this based on one thing alone: Experience in trying to assist those who have. Sorry, I wish it was easier, Robert

How to block text on a page to be indexed?
Gianluca, Rand's whiteboard Friday a couple of weeks ago may help you: http://moz.com/blog/handling-duplicate-content-across-large-numbers-of-urls Though the Whiteboard Friday is about duplicate content issues, 1 piece you can probably us from it is this: embed an iframe on page of the content to leave the content out of the index and the content will not be perceived to be part of the URL when using iframe. Add “noindex” in the HTML doc in the iframe to be 100% sure that search engines do not index it.

Domain Change, loss of inbound links ...
We just went through this exact same change for marketing reasons. With a combination of 301 redirects and a ton of new content we found our organic dropped significantly on day one but after a period of about two weeks now things have bounced back and in some cases the new content has allowed us to rank better. Our previous site had tons of outdated code and was not particularly clean. Pages now load much faster, the new look seems to have increased the number of pages per visit as well as time on site. If we had to do it over again tomorrow we certainly would. Sometimes not renovating the site I think costs you more in the long run. Hope this helps. Gary

Competitive Search Terms?
No, Moz's tools do not provide this. You can check out SEMrush or SpyFu as two options to do this. Both will give you some free data without an account, although the paid plans will give you more data.

Local SEO: How many consistent citations needed to rank
Hi Bob, If there's NAP consistency issues that you've discovered, they are almost certainly harming the business' ability to rank well locally. If the client has a very small budget, perhaps the best thing to do would be to offer her an hour or two of consulting to teach her how to find citations and correct them on her own. If a business owner doesn't have budget, they have to be able to invest time if they want to have some ability to compete, right? So, offering to train her to discover and correct her citations wouldn't require much of your consulting time and would really empower her to take control of her presence on the web. That would be my thinking on this.

Do searchs bot understand SEF and non SEF url as the same ones ?
Google considers both url's as different. In your use case, i would use a robots.txt file to prevent google from indexing the site / pages. When the site is released and the url's are permanent, you can remove the robots.txt More about robots.txt : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robots_exclusion_standard
