API callback parameter
Hey there! Just want to make sure I'm understanding what you're trying to do - basically you're hoping to use jQuery to send requests to the API and then fetch the JSON results? What type of queries are you sending the API? What would the API query look like? Also, we do have the API Help Forums to post in or search as well - not sure if you've explored these pages, but there could be some helpful information for you there as well! Thanks! Carin

Greater Number of Linking Domains in Anchor Text Excel Export?
Yep! Exactly. Each root domain can link to your page/site multiple times, from multiple pages, and these are all included in the report.

So many problems with my site.
Hi Salehwelli, Unfortunately, it sounds like your web designer may not be the best person to help you with your site. It's nice when web designers understand SEO and proper techniques, but this isn't always the case. It's hard to tell how serious these problems are without looking at your site. The fact is, if you can't take care of these yourself, you probably want to find someone who can. It sounds like you're overwhelmed at this point, which is understandable. So your 2 possible actions are these: Hire someone who understands SEO Begin learning what these errors mean I would say #2 is by far the most rewarding choice. In most cases, SEO requires only a minimum knowledge of HTML and web structure to get started. So learning some basic HTML might be a good place for you to start. Tackle each error one at a time. Research the web to discover how each applies to your site, and dig deep to find what is causing it. The community here is tremendously supportive, and the web, and SEOmoz is a great resource. I'd start by reading everything in the Learn SEO section of SEOmoz. Also, it's a little old, but the Beginner's Checklist for Learning SEO is a great place to start. Hope this helps. Best of luck with your SEO!

Why doesn't Open Site Explorer recognize the link from my twitter profile?
Doug's comment above is correct. In general, if a page doesn't have any links to it then OSE won't know that it even exists. This was the case for my Twitter profile until I pointed a couple of links to it, not that having it indexed is of much use anyway.

Why was the vote up/down feature taken off the directory list?
There was some kind of bug where it was showing one or two votes up and a couple of thousand votes down for each URL. We took it down while we figure out where that was coming from. I'm not sure, but I think it will be back up when it's fixed. Glad you found it helpful!

Top 10 SERP Competition PA
I would think the key is to utilize SEOmoz to create a site that will become it's own DA & PA powerhouse. I agree... or at least, that is my approach. My decision to enter a competition is based upon a few things. If I am considering an information SERP then my decision to compete will be based upon my ability to produce greatly superior content. If I can do that it does not matter who is the competitor I will go after them. However, for this type of competition I would be looking at search volume and then the revenue potential of contextual ads - then compare that to the cost of the content. I will often use information content to attack a product SERP - especially if it is a product where buyers want information. Information pages will sometimes succeed in SERPs where it can be very very difficult to rank a product page. I am more conservative when attacking product SERPs with product pages. If I don't think that I can rank well on domain authority alone I will not attempt that SERP with a product page because I don't do linkbuilding. I will instead attack with an information page that presents my product in the form of a house ad.

Hi! Did any of these tools meet your needs, or are you still looking for some help?

Should I be looking at PA over DA?
Both have metrics have merits. But because DA is consistent across your entire site, and is higher correlated with higher rankings, if I had to work on choosing one metric, I would choose DA. That said, DA is only a predictive metrics, that is useful when prospecting for links and some other activities. I wouldn't build an SEO strategy around it. Instead, if you focus on getting a good variety of links from authoritative sources, your DA and other metrics will take care of themselves. Great Video from Rand here: http://www.seomoz.org/blog/which-link-metrics-should-i-use-part-1-of-2-whiteboard-friday http://www.seomoz.org/blog/which-link-metrics-should-i-use-part-2-of-2-whiteboard-friday Hope this helps. Best of luck with your SEO!

Difference between Seomoz Competitive Domain Analysis and OSE link data?
I thumbed up Brent's answer, because that is typically the case. It's super easy to go into OSE and look at metrics to a domain either with or without the "www" when you meant to do the opposite. So when the numbers don't match up this is the first thing I check. Also, OSE tends to update faster than the Competitive Domain Analysis, so occasionally there is a lag time of about a week. In this case however, the numbers are so far off I suspect this is not the case. Let us know if we can be of any help. Thanks!
