Hello! Sam from Moz's Help Team here! So -  after being found, newly discovered links have the ability to be populated into our index in about 3 days. However, there are a lot of factors which can affect our ability to find and index links to your site. It's important to note that we are always adding new data to our index, but it may take some time for us to discover backlinks to your site based on factors like crawlability of the referring pages, quality of the links and the referring pages, and more. If you are not seeing links that you know you have, you may want to make sure that they can be indexed. It is also a good idea to check to see if we've indexed the page on which that link is found. If we haven't indexed the referring page yet, you won't see your link in our index. You can also add links to Link Tracking Lists. Once you add a link to your tracking lists we will add that page to be crawled. As long as it is accessible to our crawler, you should see the link in our index as soon as we can index those pages. Lastly, I have a great guide here with some things to check around why we may not have found your links yet: https://moz.com/help/link-explorer/link-building/moz-isnt-finding-your-links If you'd like any further information, please feel free to pop us an email over at help@moz.com. We do also have a great guide to Domain Authority just here: https://moz.com/learn/seo/domain-authority

Hi, No, MOZ does not have any option to disavow links and you should not be worried about disavowing links in Moz. Instead, disavow them from the Google Search Console because Google is the search engine that ranks your site according to proper linking.

Hi, Great question, Link Explorer and the Links tab of Moz Pro Campaigns are both tied to our Link index, which is constantly updating. After being found, newly discovered links have the ability to be populated into our index in about 3 days. When discovered or lost links are found, we'll update our database to reflect those changes in your scores and link counts. We prioritize the links we crawl based on a machine learning algorithm to mimic Google's index. This does not mean that DA and PA will change with every data update, though; it will only change if we find new link data for a respective site. I'm sorry I can't tell you exactly when your DA will update it depends on when we find new equity passing backlinks to your site. You can read more about our new Link Explorer tool and our index here. You can also read more about how our Link index compares with our competitors here https://backlinko.com/best-backlink-checker Feel free to reach out to help@moz.com with any further questions

Hi snjaoieiw, To get a detailed answer from Moz staff on what DA is, you might consider searching the Q&A forum. In short, though, it is a Moz metric (not a Google or Bing metric) that takes into consideration the number (and quality) of backlinks your website has. That said, have you been working on building up high quality backlinks? -Zack

  • Hey guys! Sorry about the delay. We added a new pipeline to make reports collate faster. Unfortunately while we were adding it there was a back up. All the reports should be pushed through very soon (if not already). Thanks for your patience and time.

  • You can track them all in one campaign as a root domain then use the three Google extension localized to your needs. Then you could add KWs in each language with LABELS on them to sort and differentiate them. You could also set up three different campaigns under the subdomain category.

  • Thanks for writing in and sorry that you're getting this problem with Rank Tracker. It sounds like a cookies issue - you should definitely make sure that third-party cookies are activated in your browser (I know it seems basic, but it really does help). This is how you do this: Firefox: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/enabling+and+disabling+cookies Chrome: http://www.google.com/support/chrome/bin/answer.py?answer=95647 I hope this helps! After you enable all cookies, including third-party, and save the settings, restart your browser and log back in to the SEOmoz.org site. After that, go to opensiteexplorer.org and make sure you are logged in (it indicates if you are logged in on top of the page). You should be good to go! If you're still having problems, you may want to clear your cache and cookies as well. Here's how: Firefox: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Clear Recent History#w_how-do-i-clear-my-history (clear at least your cache and cookies) Chrome: http://www.google.com/support/chrome/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=95582 After it's all cleared out, try restarting the browser again and then logging in. You should be set. I hope this helps! Let me know if it doesn't work.

  • We've been having the same issue (it impacts on client evaluation and reporting significantly), and I just found a blog post written by SEO staff about a week ago: http://www.seomoz.org/blog/hot-off-the-press-more-universal-results-included-with-your-campaign-rankings He mentions the change, and says that they are considering giving more options in the interface by which to view your results (i.e. by absolute organic position, not just "natural with universal excluded".)  I would visit the post, comment, and also follow the link to the feature request page for this and vote it up - maybe that'll help the change get made - and sooner. https://seomoz.zendesk.com/entries/21226961-show-the-top-universal-ranking-position-and-top-overall-ranking-position-as-well-as-top-natural-rank?page=1 Good luck! -Aviva

  • Hi Alex, These awesome guys are right. The SEOmoz PRO platform automatically runs an on-page report for any of your managed keywords that shows up in the top 50 of your chosen search engine, for the URL that is displayed in search results. This is not necessarily the page you tried to optimize for. So, if your homepage is ranking for "keyword a" instead of homepage.com/keyword-a, SEOmoz will run a report for your homepage instead. The good news is, you can set the report to run for any keyword/URL combination you like. The instructions are here, about 1/2 down the page... http://www.seomoz.org/help/on-page-reports Now, the advanced SEO question is... why is your homepage ranking above your optimized page? Not sure I can answer that one here. Hope this helps. Best of luck with your SEO!

  • Hi Stevene, OpenSiteExplorer - which is powered by Linkscape - is only updated around once a month. So there is some delay between getting links and these links being crawled by SEOmoz. Furthermore, SEOmoz does not cral the web as deep as Google. Low quality pages (and good pages with very few good links) are not necessarily going to show up in OpenSiteExplorer. You can see the update calender here: http://apiwiki.seomoz.org/w/page/25141119/Linkscape Schedule

  • Bristolweb- Should be easy to help. There are two ways to access inbound link information in SEOmoz that I know of. The first is from the campaign tab under link analysis. Because you say you are limited to the number of links, I think you are talking about this section. In the link analysis it gives you the link details on your primary url and any competitors that you have listed. i think it lists a total of 5 on the first screen. YOU CAN GET THE OTHER LINKS BY DOING EITHER: Option #1:click on the "export to csv" button in the top right and it will allow you to doiwnload up to 10,000 results. Very handy!!!! Or You can click the button under the links which will take you to opensite explorer where it is easier to work with the information because it is displayed in a much easier way to process then information. Option #2:click on the link research and analysis /open site explorer tool (Under research tools). This will provide you with a list of 50 of the applicable links (assuming you have them). if you have used option #1 and option #2 and you still only see 3 links, then you only have 3 links. make sure you are searching on the exact URL address you want.... Good luck. happy linking...

  • Hi Scott I would block all the pages that have duplicate content and inform the clients of your actions, encouraging them to create their own unique content. In a similar discussion to this Egol suggested making the creation of good quality unique content a requirement of having a franchise. Here is the discussion - http://www.seomoz.org/q/duplicate-content-issue-for-franchising-business

  • I've had blogs that haven't appeared over 2 OSE index updates, so just be patient. Because this update is going to take in to account 2 months of new data and 35 billion new URLs, it should appear in the next update (27th April I believe)
