I tried rank tracker and that is acurate, but campaigns shows a few bad results, not all but quite a few are a long way out.

yes it goes on a ratio, but it is not simply a straight split. the first link on a page get more, links in the main content are better then those in the footer and the sides. External links may take more then internal.
Article sites normaly have about 100 links pouintingback to their ownn siite so that they lose little.

Linking out is no all bad, if the site you link to is relevant or has high authority it can be a positive. but if you opne your site to articles, you will have to review them as you will attract spammers who want to like to crap sites.

I am not sure how sub + domain ranks in comparison to purly having the keywords in thedomain name itself, but it certainly would help.

I noted that my grammar and spelling was not that good in my explaining above, so
may recap. If you 301 the subdomain, then it will not appear in searh engines
at all, it will show the final url, and there would be no benefit.

As for splitting authority, I don’t think that is true. Looking a site links for
domainname.com shows links for sub.domainname.com, I thing this shows that
search engines can tell it is the same site.

If you want to rank for car rentals, i would have a seperate page for it, i would not 301 back to homepage there would be on no use of having a different url in teh first place. it would be in fact leak a bit of link juice as 301's leak link juice.

If you havge a lot of content for car rentals i would go for the sub domain. I have always prefered sub domains to sub directories but 2 recent development have pushed me further that way.
1. google WMT now count links from sub directories to a root directories as internal links and assume ownership of sub domains simply if you own the root domain, unless the sub domain has been verified but somone else.

2. Site links for a root domain include pages from sub domains.

In my expirences link juice flows freely from root to sub domains and back if you have stronng internal linking structure from sub domains to root domains and back..

robots will not stop people linking to the file, and SE's can get to them that way.

I would simply use a canonical tag here, this is what they are for.

Removing pages may lower overall page rank of a site. you should remove pages as a last resort.

I have the same for Bing Australia, rankings are about 20 to 30 places out and have been for over a month. Of cause rankings move, but up-untill now it has been rare to have rankings this far out. I am waiting to next crawl and hoping things come good.

Yes it is still relevant, the www is a old unix standard but is not nesasary today and i believe makes domain names less memerable and is a confusion when talking of root and sub domains.

2 things.

your site map takes for ever to load,

and the links in site map have a trailing "/" but then 301 redirect to a non traling "/" url
http://www.showme.com/careers/ redirects to http://www.showme.com/careers

also Duane Forester from bing states , you should not places every url into your site map, nut only the most important pages, he also states that if your sitemap is not acurate Bing will ignore it.

but anyhow in bing WMT you can submit pages directly to the index, in the index section look for submit urls.

You have a few link juice leaks thought un-nessasary 301's, every 301 leaks link juice.

This one occuers about 1,000 times that i found.
The link to "http://www.carbodypanels4u.co.uk/catalogsearch/result/" has resulted in HTTP redirection to "http://www.carbodypanels4u.co.uk/".

thats a fair bit of leaking that should be going back to your home page

You also have over 1,000 images without alt text, get some keywords rich text in them.

looks like you have dug yourselfs a hole.

you could with a bit of work, detect where the vistits have come from, and then show prices relevent to the vistis, you will not be done for clocking in this case. There is geo locating solutions out there for detection, and you could write a function that can sort price and then replace all the prices with the function something like @GetCorrectPrice(19.99)

As far as i can tell about clocking by the way, you dont get dome for clocking unless you are trying to decive, if they detect clocking the will have a human look and see why and what you are doing.
