Page Authority and Google updates favouring websites with black hat practices ?
it depends heavily on your niche. If everyone is doing it then it means that it is lucrative and these guys will just make churn and burn domains just to cash in so it will never go away permanently. You'll see sites come and go but eventually, you will win if you keep up the work.

I'd concur with Marie - the use of noindex, follow is the most appropriate in this case.

Repetition in Title Tag and Description
I would imagine that because Chevrolet is part of the brand name that it shouldn't cause any issues but using Chevy might be more beneficial anyways. Also if I recall correctly from when I did keyword research for a Chevy dealership/parts seller, Chevy was actually searched just as often if not more often than Chevrolet. Obviously that's subject to location though.

Custom Weekly Reports received several times per day
You too? When the cross-over from Pro to Analytics happened, we not only had to set up all our campaigns again, but had this issue (amongst others). Thankfully, it seems to have settled. Of course, I only pull my reports once a month, so it could just be the calm before the storm.

Newbie... tips for where to start?
Thank you for your response! I have done a lot of directory focused links (yp, yelp, citysearch, ect). (I know, not the best). I have also done a lot of local directory websites. I do feel like I need a good strategy to get good quality links. My SEO has done press releases, but I'm not sure where or with what content. According to Open Site Explorer, I have PageAuthority of 40, MozRank of 4.58, MozTrust of 5.75, 98% equity-passing links. The metrics are better than my competitors, but yet, they still outrank me. My husband is the "face" of the business. His blog is new, but he's a great story teller. We have been getting great reach on facebook with his stories. How do I get them posted elsewhere? If we start posting on forums, will that help? My niche is deep sea fishing charters. My target audience consists of tourists looking to book a fishing trip. My husbands blog is about stories of interesting trips or people he has encountered along the way.

Google's Stance on "Hidden" Content
I don't think you're looking at a penalty situation, if that's what you are asking. Seems perfectly legitimate. The more interesting question to me is how Google will "weigh" the hidden content in it's algorithm. I suspect that anything that is hidden by javascript (or another method) will hold less weight than text in plain sight. You could try Google's new "Fetch and Render" tool in Webmaster Tools to see how Google views the page. Anything that doesn't display might not get as much consideration as plain text. Of course, this is a lot of speculation. We don't really know for sure how Google treats text like this, but it's a pretty common situation.

How to deal with number swaps for organic results?
Nope, you're good to go. Ifbyphone is a good service. I agree with Spencer, you should be good to go as long as the javascript is working correctly.

Moz Local Submissions
Hi Debby In order for us to claim your listings you would need to close your account with Localeze. I'm not sure what their process is if you fail to autorenew. If a Moz account is closed we update all of our partners informing them that our listings are no longer being managed by us. You can use our check listing tool to see if we are still showing your listings as being managed by someone else through https://moz.com/local/search Hope this helps!

Do you need exact match geographically targeted keywords for ranking within a specified city limit?
Hi Pete, If you are physically located in Sheboygan, then you should be reflecting this in your: Titles, meta description tags, content The footer of your website that should list your complete NAP (name, address, phone) The Contact Us page of the site, which should again feature your complete NAP So, yes, if you're in Sheboygan, do optimize the site so that it makes this clear, in a natural, non-spammy manner. If you don't have a staffed, physical office in Sheboygan, that's another story. Hope this helps!

Adding web designer credits to properties I create
Reason is that there is a real, legitimate value as a developer to have my credit there for users that see the site and would like inquire about having design a similar site. I'm just looking for a way though that this won't affect my own site negatively. I'm thinking either 1. Do a NoFollow link directly to the site, or 2. Point the link to an internal page on the client site, and from there point to my own site.

Google and JavaScript
When Google puts out recommendations like this, they rarely lead people on a self-destructive path. If JS and CSS files could contain relevant information to help Google crawl or index your site more appropriately, then I say let them see those. Sorry I have no data to back up my position, but the articles you listed make a good case. I read a similar article weeks ago and unblocked JS and CSS from robots.txt, but I haven't really thought about this since.
