  • It is rather complex today. It depends on which country in Europe you target. I know you can buy ads in all kinds of media in Denmark today (radio, tv, newspapers) so it is a good place to start IF you got the money. We have been doing business in the Danish ads market since 1.1. 2012 .Competition is hard but compared to the UK - then the UK is much more hard.

  • Personally, it used to do great and it wasn't much of a big deal. But with the rest of the world improving, a lot of other easier platforms emerged. I've since moved over all clients to self hosted sites. In terms of SEO, you can edit the meta details of your pages so that's there. I just didn't like the url structure and it feels old to me (more of a personal preference) so I felt it was better to move out early rather than wait longer.

  • It depends on your market, but we've found a few things that work well: Utilize your current customer base.  We've found that customers like to hear from other customers like themselves.  Meaning your customer runs the actual webinar with a topic like, "How Widget Co increased sales by over 80% with Widget Accelerator". Reach out to potential customers whose info you already have, or use remarketing to get back people who have visited certain pages on your site.

  • We've tried the affiliate route for lead gen on the CPL model and even though the ratio for leads/deal is high , it did turn out to deliver a positive ROI for the client. You can also try contacting agencies that specialize in this kind of lead gen and buy leads on a CPL model from them ( go only for exclusive leads or you'll be fighting 5-6 other competitors for the business)

  • Unfortunately, I don't know of any. We use RowFeeder to capture hashtags on Twitter, and I know there are social management tools like SproutSocial that do automatic trend reports. (Though with Sprout, they select the keyword, so you don't have control of what's relevant for your brand.) Sorry that I couldn't be more helpful.

  • To ensure you've registered and created a good presence throughout social media for your brand names / terms, check out Knowem. Run by Michael Streko out of New Jersey, been around for five or so years now. There are a bunch of different options / packages you can sign up for. It's not 100% reputation management in the traditional sense but they do a lot of brand protection and monitoring that most definitely falls into that category. The enterprise package might be what you're looking for.

  • Interesting - I wonder how widespread this bug is. Does it seem to be effecting your actual visits & unique visitors numbers, or just the charts?

  • In our case, we added both page URL (<loc>) and video content location in the video sitemap. Is there a chance of canibalization, since only the content loc URL has been indexed by Google? Note: we added the schema.org properties as well (Embed URL). Thanks</loc>

  • I am not using them to attract traffic at this time and have not used them for that purpose in the past. I doubt that visitors from that channel will outperform visitors who arrive at my site after querying a search engine and finding my content or enter my site from links on social sites. For now, I am focused upon getting more content out that will pull in traffic at zero cost.

  • ThompsonPaul and Jane Copland for providing the solution. In order to make this answer more effective and sharing my progress on finding the answer for this question. The following are the websites that I have tested and worth using. Thompson solution surely all in one for all but it takes some time and effort. http://get-site-ip.com/ http://www.ip-adress.com/reverse_ip/ http://www.selfseo.com/find_ip_address_of_a_website.php

  • Codeigniter is the php version of MVC, to be honest if you wanted to follow the MVC pattern Codeigniter would be my last choice, from a coding perspective it is ugly, from a performance perspective it is very slow, but all MVC patterns allow for good url structures, and you should be able to make a good crawlable site. Yost is a plugin to hide the short commings of wordpress, with a hand built site you should not have a need for such things. As for the MVC pattern, the best MVC solution I think by far is ASP.NET MVC, but many will say ruby on rails. ASP.NET MVC makes good seo very easy.

  • I just wanted to post an update to this Q&A, because I found the most amazing software to manage SEO Projects, thank god!!! It is called Trello it is amazing for managing projects step by step through completion and it is a visual medium. Check out this video to see how it can help you organize your projects http://youtu.be/aaDf1RqeLfo. I never post anything like this, it is just too amazing not to share. I used it to set up a board for each site I am working on so I can organize all the tasks that need to be done, collaborate with others and can see visually what needs to be done and at what point in the process I am. It is perfect since you often have to leave one site to work on another and you can quickly pick back up where you left off.
