AdStage vs. Wordstream vs. Nothing
Unfortunately, I am in the exact same boat as the other guys. I have never used AdStage Beta however considering that I have used word stream, and it has been an excellent PPC software & advising a company I would trust them considering that they yielded a very high ROI when I use them. If I had any information at all about AdStage Beta I would share that with you. If I were going to create a pay per click campaign for myself or for a client I would use words stream. I hope this helps a little bit, Thomas

Getting digital marketing authors to submit content for publishing?
The authors who I use will be different from the authors that you use. My authors write about the industry of my websites. If your websites are about wine then go look for great bloggers who post about wine. Not just any blogger, the great ones. Find bloggers who have expertise that match the content of your website.

Is Wordpress bad for SEO? - Edmonton Web
Hi Anton As many state below, the platform has little to do with potential SEO but rather how the site its self is setup. WordPress is just one of many means to an end. WordPress by default is great - but many things added to it such as themes, plugins, hosting packages, customization etc can really mess with it. Less is more. The more you can simplify your setup the better. This is the ultimate post on WordPress site speed I've ever seen. I definitely suggest also checking out some content I have on Moz; Setting Up WP For SEO Success Hands On WordPress Answers Mozinar (and slides are here) No site is going to rank on the first page of Google for your top keywords super quickly, without plenty of all the right signals. This includes on-page and off page such as links, social metrics and in the case of your site local SEO factors (local SEO factors here). I suggest checking out Danny Sullivan's periodic table of ranking factors for a high level look of all ranking factors. My favorite speed test of choice is WebPageTest - and your test results are here. I especially like the "Waterfall View" as it shows the performance of each element as it loads. It is showing the visible load time to the user as 2.8 seconds which is pretty quick actually One thing for example is some sort of Twitter file being called which takes over 1 second to load (3rd party social buttons are notorious for this). It may not be needed for every page, or you may be able to find a better way to do that. Anyhow, I know there's already a lot of info on this page - so hope that also helps! -Dan

How do you find high traffic blog to gust post on?
The challenge is similar to "How do I get a credit card with no credit". The authoritative blogs that can drive traffic you seek won't accept posts from just anybody (especially somebody without a real following). While I am sure it isn't what you want to hear the first question needs to be "How do I make connections / friends in my niche" That's easy. Same as a new job or high school - be authentic, provide value, be helpful, help them get ahead (share their stuff, make meaningful comments). Here is a great guide on the subject - http://www.viperchill.com/guest-blogging/ (providing you that link is an example of me showing a real pro some "love". I don't expect anything from him in return but I know there is a good chance that if I help him enough in enough way it might be enough to get a mention in some way or possibly a relationship, who knows) This same thing worked for my just last week. I put a link to Ana with http://www.trafficgenerationcafe.com/ on the homepage of my site and she mentioned me (AND LINKED TO MY SITE) Thanks Ana! in a post she wrote last week, sorry I don't have it in front of me. Sorry for the long message. Hopefully it was helpful. Have a great weekend! Matthew

Are eCommerce AdWords a waste of money?
Amazing fact. How long will it take for people spending mad cash on adwords - who are not quantifying their investment figure this out? Will we ever see the decline of adwords? Anyone remember goto.com - they were the ppc kings back in 1998! The good old days .05 clicks brought tons of traffic and sales...

Does this sub-domain serve to my website popularity?
Yes, subdomains linking to your main domain do flow link juice. However, having the exact same content could be an issue unless you noindex it, which will result in no juice being passed to the root domain. I would take a different approach tho, as you said, it could take far more coding, but the results would be much better. Make the root domain accept canadians a free customers (don't know how you are going to pull this, ips, sources, etc), but this approach will get the link juice directly in your root domain instead of passing it through the subdomain and probably getting a penalty for duplicate content. Also, take into consideration that if Canadians get the service for free just from accessing from Canada, other users from other countries may just use a VPN (like HMA) to access the site and look like Canadian visitors... Hope that helps!

Google news Duplicate Content
Also make sure that the content being submitted isn't copyright and being used without permission. The last thing you want is someone upset that you're reprinting things without permission and against terms of use.

How should my SEO work be measured
There are many pre-formatted dashboards within the Google Analytics community. Using a combination of these to create VP level reports is a good way to align expectations with goals. The meat and potatoes of your job sounds like a well rounded successful campaign that resulted in increase in traffic and sales- regardless of the source. I would utilize a few dashboards, to nail down the specifics: 1. Traffic from Organic Searches & Sales From Organic Sources 2. Traffic from Social Sources & Sales From Social Sources 3. Transactions from Campaigns- ( paid, newsletters, emails, articles) - tracking installed obviously. 4. Over all rankings of Keywords that resulted in sales- after all who wants to be number 1 for shiny yellow thing, when you don't sell shiny yellow things. An executive overview or scorecard for these successes could be used as a glance through- at the top of the monthly report. What worked, what changed, what needs changing and the successes that are monitored. I hope this helps-
