RE: Suburb Specific on Adwords
you can do it using keywords as long as you are not using a broad match on it
-
RE: Retargeting
great tips - just to add we have seen nice results with AdWords video retargeting as well

RE: Retargeting
Adwords re-targeting shows ads to people who have been to your site and then go to other sites around the web. If you are not getting imp somethings to check are
Check if your list is gaining users - You have to have a minimum of 100 users to start to see impr
Check your ads are approved and not on hold
Check you have popular ad formats ie 300 x 250 or text ads
Check your bid price it may be too low
If you still have issue give google a call

RE: Locating Guest Blogging Niches
The above method is great - One of the best ways is to find someone in the niche doing guest blogging and look at backlinks and search the author bio and reverse image search the avatar to find opportunities. But be careful not to guest blog on free for all and bad sites.

RE: What link techniques work but more importantly are ethical
That is a great resource just make sure the links you build are links you think a customer may find you thru and are not being made just for the link

RE: What link techniques work but more importantly are ethical
High quality guest posts on high valued sites
Producing /curating amazing content, guides , video, infogrpahics , pr news etc
Reclaiming brand mentions missing links
Broken link building
Events
Product features and reviews
cobranded projects
etc
Basically real marketing that may get you a link also is where you want to head

RE: Is there any reason to add the word "buy" to our Adwords keywords?
If you see alot of impr for the keyword "buy keyword" after you run it on phrase etc i would make a new agroup for buy with the buy keywords with ads focused on that intent. This will allow you to bid on them separately and talk to what they are looking for better then a broad or phrase.

RE: Email, phone, address on banner
I always like to have contact info on every page it helps users and that is what google wants. Local business need this more then pure online stores but make sure its not on a image on the banner so google can read it

RE: Is Back Link Building still Good Practice
You need back links its still a huge ranking factor- just try to do real marketing that gives you a bi product of links. If you want to know from a strict link building perspective you can do nich directories, valuable blog comments , Q&a, Guest posting on real blogs - Just try to add value and get links from industry related real places not sites made for seo.

RE: Is anyone using Pinterest for link building?
I actually work with a client in the wedding space as well and they have thousands and thousands of shares but i wouldnt say it has the value of a link
-
RE: Is anyone using Pinterest for link building?
I dont think it counts as a link but im sure it has the same value as a social share. Google knows what pinterest is and knows how to treat it.

RE: Any way of showing missed sales in Google Analytics?
You need to show them how many abandoned shopping cart views are being generated. Then i would take your average sales value and multiply it with the amount of abandoned carts to get a figure to show them. (take out some for normal abandon carts for industry )
