Do you think Content distribution might help for linkbuilding outreach ?
Yup, will work if you share it in the right places. We have several articles on our blog which got a lot of backlinks after we shared the link on Quora, reddit, inbound, growthhackers. Bloggers picked up on these and linked to them in relevant articles.

Which is the best option for these pages?
Hello, As Martin suggested, it seems any option will require time and effort. Are you sure these pages are causing an issue with duplicate content? Are they ranking and pulling traffic/sales? I'm dubious these pages are having a negative impact. I would want to verify that as much as possible before expending the resource to canonical or take other action. That said, canonical would be the recommended solution here - and should take no more effort than the "noindex" tag. Best, Mike

Many Duplicate Content Flags
Hey there, Sam from Moz's Help Team here! You're correct - our tool has a 90% tolerance for duplicate content, which means it will flag any content that has 90% of the same code between pages. This includes all the source code on the page and not just the viewable text. You can run your own checks for percentage similarity using this tool: http://smallseotools.com/similar-page-checker/. If we're identifying two pages as having duplicate content it's likely that Google will be running into the same issues. You can read a little more about duplicate content, and how to resolve it, on our resource page here: https://moz.com/learn/seo/duplicate-content Let us know if we can help with anything else!

Google is showing erroneous results on SERPs page
Removing the pages will cause them to 404. Google will not instantly remove 404 pages, as sometimes website servers have issues and incorrectly return a 404 status on pages that are meant to be valid. As a result, Google will re-visit this page over a period of time and after seeing a repeated 404 is will remove it from its index. The easiest option to speed this up, should be to use Google Search Console "Temporarily Hide" option in Google. https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/url-removal Pages will disappear quickly after using this and my guess is it won't come back if it's still returning a 404 status. If it's easy for you, you could turn the 404s to 410 (forever gone).

Is the update site crawl feature following robot.txt rules?
I'm not a 100% sure about it, but probably in specific cases you want to have your own statements for Rogerbot.

How much time does it take for OSE to recognize backlinks?
My pleasure Imran! Glad you found my response useful My best advice here would be to NOT spend much (if any) of your time worrying about DA/PA. You will quickly drive yourself crazy doing so. Similar to watching your rankings from day to day, right? You will end up going bananas over it, for nothing. Not to say that you shouldn't be aware and check in on them front time to time but... you get it. To answer your question, although the amount of traffic the article receives will help readers find the link back to your web page, I don't believe it will have any effect on the link being indexed. However, the backlinks that article earns over time will most certainly help. Share that article and get the word out! Congrats on the publication, great stuff!!

Backlink Indexing - will this technique hurt or help?
I specifically said "a blog or social profile." You're telling me that these are not worth having? If I have a blog or social profile and people visit such pages I think they would expect a link.

How Good or Bad is having a blog feed(s) on the homepage?
Hey Judd, I also agree with Martin. I would suggest reducing the number of articles on your homepage. The homepage is more of a gateway to introduce further primary content, services and products of your site. A space to sell and entice your audience. I think by having so many articles you are potentially causing more distractions that necessary. More content about your business and services would also be more beneficial than the blog content. Maybe just have a single row for your blog, featuring a single article from each of your categories. That way hopefully you will enable your services to shine a little more whilst still retaining some peripheral related content seo value. If people are searching for your blog content and you rank well, the articles themselves will predominately be the landing pages rather than your home page. Hope that is of some use. Cheers Tim
