Link Getting Deleted for Few Days
From what I understand, permanent links > temporary links. How it treats a link thats lost/found on the exact same page is a mystery to all. You should also take into consideration the time between a link lost/gained (e.g. if google didn't recrawl the page, it wouldn't have even noticed the link disappearing)

Canonical in Shop Areas of an E-commerce Site. When and Where?
Isaac, This is the same issue that I mentioned a fix for on this thread: https://moz.com/community/q/should-i-be-worried-about-our-duplicate-content If you canonicalize product A to product B, product A will eventually drop out of search engines' index, not what you want to happen. Read through the recommendations I made on the other thread.

True or False? Having your phone number in the header of your nav bar is good for SEO?
Depending on the scenario, it could help because it would cause Google to read your address before anything else and if you're a local business, that could help gain relevance. This is one of those things that should be super easy to test so I'll add it to my bucket list of items to test out.

Page auto directing to /#/id0 but no 301 in place?
Hi, I don't see a redirect either. I tried fetching from the UK and the USA and neither redirected me. Are you still having this problem? Craig

I recently had someone say a resource page is a bad idea. What do you think?
Joe, As EGOL points out, you can make an argument for either side - keep or remove. It's really up to you. Things to consider: Is there a demand for this in the marketplace? Is your page currently ranking? Is the page useful to your audience? Is it visited repeatedly and for some time? Is it shared with others? Is there something better already out there? Can you beat it? You said your page is already incomplete and outdated. Are you willing to update and maintain it on an ongoing basis? Would you get more bang for your buck spending that time on something else?

What tool is best for knowing how many searches are done on a string in a specific country?
Hey there, Regarding the tools, I've checked one particular keyword in MOZ, SEMrush, Ahrefs and Searchmetrics - all tools are in the full paid subscription. The tools show results as follows: MOZ: 11.5k - 30.3k SEMrush: 22.2K Ahrefs: 14K Searchmetrics: 24,295 So in this case, the last result from Searchmetrics seems to be the most accurate one. However, data from MOZ cover all the range. In my opinion, the best way would be to count the average of the search volumes from all the tools (which could be a bit time consuming, I know). Hope it helps. Cheers, Martin

How many links to the same page can there be for each page?
Hey there, Sure, you can. You'll give this page higher importance. For example, look at the homepage of MOZ. On the homepage, there are three links to the Product page - in the main navigation, in the body and in the footer. You can do the same. Hope it helps. Cheers, Martin

I am UNRANKED in the Moz Community... but... but why?
Well... still not ranked. I'll just wait it out a few more days and see what happens, if nothing I'll reach out to Moz and see if they know more about it. Thanks again EGOL! Always a pleasure

What's wrong with the algorithm?
Thanks, I don't know how I missed it. I've fixed the tags, Google has crawled and reindexed the website twice, however still a mess - plus the specific page is going up on serp? Anything else I can do to help Google get it right?

Google Not Showing Up
Hi Brett! Google's Places API will only make brick and mortar locations available to search in their database. If you are a service area business, the listing will not be available to us and others as we only support listings with physical locations.

Will 301 Redirects Slow Page Speed?
Yes Nikki, great addition about avoiding redirect chains! Redirects are useful and difficult to avoid in most cases but redirecting to a redirect should always be avoided for the sake of Page Speed and common sense Cheers!!

1.6 million internal links?
Well, pretty much every page on that website is stuffed with internal links. Even a simple blog post has like 50 links to their main and category pages. This page has more than 100 links http://www.cartridgesave.co.uk/toner-cartridges/Samsung/Xpress-SL-C430W.html And they have 19,000 pages in the index, so I'm not surprised they have that many internal links.

Are we confusing Google with our internal linking?
Possibly. Internal links and their anchor text can certainly give Google a priority on what the page is about, and which preferred landing page you want to rank. However, there can be more to it as well. How much does the sub-page 'talk' about the keyword? What is its content like? Do you have any canonical issues? How about the homepage, how much content is on there about the keyword. You could be cannibalising efforts by having a number of pages all talking about the same thing. Content is quite often just as 'confusing' to Google as the internal links.
