Do building sites on expired domains help?
I bought the expired domain of a competitor a year or so ago and redirected it to one of our main domains and it's done us fairly well. Unfortunately they left quite a few unhappy customers so there has been a bit of PR firefighting to do, but overall it's positive. If I were going to do it again I would have done a lot more research, I was just sloppy. MaryAnneG is absolutely right, you need to do a lot of research before you buy one, there are plenty of people out there artifically making their domains look much better than they are.

Duplicate Content - Video
I wold like to agree with Syed, plus add a little to the video marketing side of your site. I am new to SEOMOZ, and although I have many things to work on and learn, video marketing, even within my site, has been a major factor for traffic. Using videos from the manufacturer is fine, and I believe the other three comments are correct, this should really have nothing to do with a drop in rank or traffic. I do suggest however, to continue to put your own original videos on your site...trust me, your own personal view and brand on things plays a major role for not only trust from the search engines, but what we should really be concerned with, trust from prospective clients and or purchasers of our products and services. It has amazed me at how more people preferred my own take of a particular product or service than that of the creator of the product I was promoting. I tried it both ways several times and always noticed a higher percentage in the conversion rate than that of the other...just the facts I have seen and still do. The hardest part about this whole venture is getting it down to a fine art. While the manufacturer's videos may seem more professional than your own, don't worry, practice makes perfect. Besides, when it comes to video, people really are attracted to other "real" people and how they feel about a specific product or service... Thanks-

Keyword domains for AdWords - duplicate content an issue
You can use adwords to multiple domains (or from multiple accounts) even from the same ip as long as you are not double serving ads for a keyword.

Article Marketing - still valid if done right?
Hey, that's exactly my approach and it always forms part of a larger picture but good quality articles can help get traffic to and rank a new site so it factors in still for me. Cheers! Marcus

How do I get Google to display categories instead of the URL in results?
Hi Carlito, first of all there must be this breadcrumb information in the content of the page that Google can identify and understand it. Take a closer look at this link http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=185417

How to optimize achor text links on ecommerce category page
This pretty much mirrors what I was going to say.... "I can't find an example of how it would be coded (check link above!), but you could look at having a single ahref stemming from the product text, and expand the clickable area to include the image. This would get around your issue, and I've always thought that having multiple links to a single product like that is sub-optimal. I'm not sure how much added SEO benefit this would have, but all the small things..."

Create content or more link building?
Boy, this is a tough question because it varies from site to site, page to page, and keyword to keyword. We publish new content every day and much of it is exclusive to our site. Beyond that I focus primarily on creating content to capture long-tail traffic. To begin with, I would ask myself the following questions (which you may have already done)... What keywords are really driving your business? Have you pinpointed which keywords are most likely to lead to conversions? Make sure you are building links for the keywords that lead to revenues...not just visits. Of the keywords pinpointed in #1, what does the competitive landscape look like for each? Be sure to prioritize which keywords/pages you are working on based on a combination of potential return and level of competition. What links do your competitors have? Is there an opportunity to catch up by getting the same links? Second, there is always an opportunity to combine content generation and link building. Try to identify content other sites need or are lacking. Create that content and then reach out to let the site owner know so they can point visitors to the page. Finally, to avoid the huge time suck (or to manage it), consider scheduling link building time and content generation time throughout the week to help yourself be focused and efficient. Jot down content ideas and/or potential linking partners whenever they come up. Then on during your scheduled times, work through your list of ideas / sites. All that being said, there is no 'right' answer. Link building and content creation are both difficult tasks that take time. Which reminds me...have you considered hiring an intern to be your content writer? Just another idea... I'm pretty sure this doesn't answer your question, but I hope it helps.

Google webmasters shows 37K not found errors
I am in the same condition: how long should I wait for Google to reindex and rerank the site? I don't want to mess with 301, even my Host has a DirectAdmin panel that allows me to redirect without editing the.htacces file. Am I getting penalties from Google in the meantime? Thanks, DoMiSol

Repeat Keyword Phrase or Use Variations
They sure can, try searching in Google for: ~SEO You'll notice that even the phrase "search engine optimization" is emboldened, as Google knows it is a synonym. Alan makes some good points, and I agree 100% about not making the text read clearly; websites are for people first. However, sometimes making it read clearly means using synonyms or secondary target keyword phrases. I'd say if you are targeting a single keyword then maybe it isn't so important, but with phrases of 3 words or so then the secondary phrases or phrase synonyms it does become more important if you want to target those search terms also.

The first 5 or what? How many words in page title = revelancy for onpage seo?
It depends whats in the content of the page. All words will count, but as some others have said you could be diluting by putting too many in there. Don't stuff, make it readable, make it likeable (from a customers perspective) and choose your title carefully. Make sure it is relevent to the page content, otherwise you are taking 2 steps backwards. Keep it to one or two main keywords per page.
