Does getting reblogged on Tumblr offer any positive/powerful backlinks?
I have not used it as a particular strategy; however, I believe it does because I have seen positive effects from competitors & others using it to good effect. That is how I made the inference above is from observation of others linking profile & rankings.

Only pages in the supplemental index
Agreed this is a VERY "thin" affiliate site - not just dupe content but really redundant, keyword-stuffed content besides. Not good! In my experience, it's not the size of the site or the amount of the content so much as the ratio of good content to everything else. Make the home page less promotional, don't overdo keyword density and be selective about where you place the ads. Improve the quality of the content overall. I see a lot of repeated text in your page titles - make your page titles more unique from page to page. Do that and make sure you're OK as far as Google's other webmaster quality guidelines. If that doesn't bring it back in several weeks, then try a reconsideration request.

How does the toolbar caclulate text to code ratio?
Hey Ryan! That's definitely weird. This is more of a customer service question than an SEO question, so I'm going to close this Q&A and open a customer service ticket for you at the email address associated with your account so I can do some research and get back to you. In the future, if you have a question about our site or tools, please email it to help@seomoz.org to get faster service. Thank you! Talk to you soon!

Should my client remove "SEO" from the XML sitemap name?
Thanks for the feedback folks. The sitemap does hold more pages than the standard one, but then if it comes down to the name not being an issue, I guess we needn't worry. I'm still going to change it though.. makes me yak every time i see it.

Does 301 redirect pass "freshness?"
Hi! We're going through some of the older unanswered questions and seeing if people still have questions or if they've gone ahead and implemented something and have any lessons to share with us. Can you give an update, or mark your question as answered? Thanks!

Redirect of just one internal page
Actually I'm asking about SEO consequences at whole. Let us say that I've choosed to use R301. Would the search engines decide that my domains are duplicated (even if content is less than 4% equal by copyscape.com) or the redirected page flows its juice to counterpart page w/o any penalties from SE? Something else that I have to beware of or must do? Thanks!

Should I show and allow following of deep navigation links?
Unfortunately you'll have to update your XML sitemap when you add new pages (there are technical ways of automating the update). Unless of course, you use the WordPress plugin - in which case it does this for you automatically. It's a bit of a pain but there are free XML sitemap generators that will reproduce a new file - but I would wait until the site is pretty much complete before creating the first. As for visualising link juice, take a look at the MozRank of the homepage using the tool bar and then have a look at 1st and 2nd tier. You can see that MozRank splits up evenly between pages (unless skewed by other links). Although if the pages are new and SEOmoz hasn't crawled them yet, then this won't show. Just remember that if you have 1 internal link on your homepage then all available PageRank will pass through it, the more you have the more diluted this PageRank will be.

Filtered Navigation, Duplicate content issue on an Ecommerce Website
Hi Dstrunin, I would still use the rel canonical tag even with or without the filter in place. So if you have a list of products displayed unfilter at companyname.com/productcategory/page1.htm, I would add a rel canonical with it pointing at companyname.com/productcategory/page1.htm. For the filtered results,companyname.com/productcategory/filters/page1.htm , the canoncial tag would still point to companyname.com/productcategory/page1.htm. It doesn't hurt to have a canonical tag point to the same page it's on. If you can't do that I would meta noindex those filtered pages and remove the robots.txt stuff. Robots.txt doesn't tell Google they can't index it it only says they can't crawl it. So they could still index old stuff they crawled before you did the robots.txt stuff or index the title tags. Are you SEO master? What would you change on my page?
I'd be careful with that footer you've got. I might be behind the times, but I think that could be considered keyword stuffing which, last I checked, Google doesn't look to nicely upon.

What are the best reasons not to use Wordpress as a CMS?
Wordpress works great for amateur to medium size clients, anything that needs a solid professional build with data-basing requires something more robust from my point of view.
