  • Sometime keyword research tools show that there are not to many people are looking for certain keywords, but it doesn't mean that this keywords are bad. It is probably recommended to optimize for the keyword "Babe Ruth Posters" however it is not bad idea to optimize for two other keywords phrases too, they have main keywords in it too. As well I noticed that sometime some of my clients coming up with keywords which are "not known" by keyword tools but even though they are being used. Optimization of each page according the content is good idea. If it is "winning" poster then it is winning poster. Especially if you have separate section or product with word "winning" in it it will be recognized. Of course all optimization and decisions are up to you.

  • It all make sense but let look at one more new york appliance repair . com also using the same technicque in over 30 cities all by liking all on same ip. If you look at the competitors for example appliance - repair - ny . com that has almost 3000 links from different ips get lower rankings.. I'm looking on a way to dominate this niche in any cities and played with the idea but it seems like it too easy if that all that it took them to take over those niches.

  • I would not get a link from this as it seems very suspicious, are you sure the subdomain has links pointing to it? Otherwise, I would suspect a penalty from google that has not been resolved.

  • Story's still pretty much the same - I'd be MORE worried than before if you're doing either in a way that could be perceived as intentionally manipulative and more for engines than users, but I wouldn't sweat doing either if it's user-focused, high value and editorial.

  • Well, external links to pages are 80% of the ranking factor for the page. That has nothing to do with your internal nav link structure. But, yes, internal juice will flow 1/750th to each page that the nav structure points to.

  • Yes, a higher QS will lower the amount you have to bid to get the same position on the ad list. And, yes, on-page SEO related to the PPC ad will increase your QS. • Sometime domains which expire are getting hijacked by this types of websites and they take cached content (it is unbelievable) and keep it on their website along with bad content. Not sure what would be the best way to protect from such situations but it would be good to know.

  • 100 ARTICLE SUBMISSIONS [APPROVED ARTICLES] -> 1 article submitted to 100 article directories What is the "quality" and "relevance" of the directory to your article's subject. Are the articles unique versions or the same article submitted to 100 directories? If unique article versions added to topically relevant higher quality directories, with optimized back link, then good. 50 PRESS RELEASE SUBMISSIONS [APPROVED & SCREENSHOTS]-> 1 PR writing & submissions to top 50 PR distribution sites each Eh, depends on price and quality of press release. Is it newsworthy? There are plenty of services in which you can do it yourself. I would say it primarily depends on whether your press release is news worthy or just an ad. 150 PRIVATE BLOGS SUBMISSION [APPROVED ARTICLES] -> 1 article submitted to 150 private blogs submission This is likely to be garbage. Same rules as article directories above. 100 WEBSITE DIRECTORY SUBMISSION -> 1 url (home page) submitted to 100 top free web directories Likely worthless. But depends on directories. Are they truly the "top"? Perhaps more impt. if they allow full business citations. Are they geographically relevant? Topically relevant? 50 SOCIAL BOOKMARKING [CONFIRMED LINKS] -> 1 url of site submitted to top 50 social bookmarking websites Most likely garbage, imho. 40 PROFILE BACK-LINKS [CONFIRMED LINKS] -> 1-3 url's of site submitted and create 40 profile websites What sites? 50 SEARCH ENGINES -> submission to all the major search engines Garbage. 20 NEWS WEBSITES -> Ping all links from reports to news websites Really depends. Likely garbage. Hoped this helped.

  • There's thousands of bloggers who write about jewelry: http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=jewelry+inurl%3Ablog There's cool stuff like this: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/01/20/geeky-jewelry-the-nerdies_n_429408.html http://mashable.com/2010/08/05/geek-jewelry/ Videos with hundreds of thousands of views: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_type=videos&search_query=jewelry&search_sort=video_view_count&suggested_categories=26%2C10%2C24 There's no niche, IMO, that's too boring or too stale for great content.
