Duplicating Product Titles in the Page-Content
I seriously doubt you would be penalized, but Google (the algorithm) is going to know you are just duplicating product titles and not give it any weight and ignore it. Why muck up the page for your human customers?

Can anyone recommend a great link building firm?
Check freelancer.com for Indian SEO firms that can get you 1000 links for $1000. I'm kidding, don't do that.

Why home page ranks higher than keyword-optimized page
Hi Claudia Your home page has both domain and page authority and has thousands of links to it. The job scheduling page doesn't have any page authority and has no links to it as far as I can tell. The job scheduling page has a URL of www.uc4.com/what-we-do/business-automation/job-scheduling.html where www.uc4.com/job-scheduling.html or www.uc4.com/products/job-scheduling.html would be more search engine friendly. Just to let you know it took the homepage 150 seconds and the job scheduling page 180 seconds to load up. Please note that is seconds not milliseconds and even then the site didn't load up properly.

How to get a news article / post to show up in a google trend for your keyword?
The domain authority of all these featured sites is very high, I would think that may have something to do with it as it can't be down to content feature as the guardian post reads more like a tweet. Anyone else have any luck gaining this kind of exposure?

Top navigation bar vs. left side - site archetecture
For a site your size, I think the left side nav is fine (for SEO purposes). From a usability perspective sometimes its nice to have a mouse over link in the main nav to give visitors easy access to category and sub category pages but that's just my opinion. By the way, love bigcommerce! We work on ecommerce sites 24/7 and that is by far my favorite for small to mid size sites.

PageRank: Links on menu and footer to the same page, does it get counted twice?
You need to also consider user experience and if people find those links helpful. Try installing something like CrazyEgg or another click tracking software that will tell you which links (not just which URLs) were clicked on to see if those links have any value for the user.

® is displaying as o in the SERP pages
Never had this problem but was recommended by Will Critchlow to use HTML encoding for special characters He said that they "tend to advise going for ASCII only" and "HTML entities should generally be fine" So perhaps all instances should be changed to .

Question about duplicate content within my site
Hi. So sorry I am just now getting back to this post, we went away for a few days. Thank you so much for offering to take a look at the site. Here is an example of what I am referring to: Here is a product page. At the bottom, you will notice there are tabs. http://www.frs-solutions.com/content/comlink_st3g If you click on 'specifications', you will see information that has been imported from this page: http://www.frs-solutions.com/content/st3g-tab-3-specs SO, as you can see, there are 2 instances of the specifications information. 1 in the tabs, and 2 on the imported page. Hope this makes sense. And thank you again for taking a peek!
