The 301 should be outside the <ifmodule>. Maybe you could post the other 301 redirects and the one which isn't working here.</ifmodule> Creating a new index.html and redirecting from it would give you a 302 or even a meta-redirect, which in regard to seo is not recommended.

High PR alone does not mean much, so don't waste your time. Evidence for this is the fact that you can buy expired high-PR domains, and they will give no juice. mozMetrics (PA & DA) are far more telling. To build up your credibility, it all boils down to 1) original content and 2) how well you are able to distribute this content on the net.

thank you for that. i am going to send a number of articles to free article sites but it is trying to find a good article site to do this. in the past when i have done this i have found that many people use my articles but they never put the link to the article to my site which is a big let down.

probably the one that doesn't syndicate articles. seriously, why not just use Wordpress and then text-broker tons of fresh new content?

Just a quick heads up that you're no longer going to get the "visual benefit" if you're running checkout with adwords.  they discontinued this June 2 https://checkout.google.com/support/sell/bin/answer.py?answer=1323905 an ecommerce client of mine was seeing great benefit with this in conjunction with his PPC.  He saw a temporary drop after they stopped displaying the checkout, but it has since rebounded.

"301 redirect each existing site's home page to the new home page for the given language on the efutgol.com site" To clarify, if equipamentsfootball.com is your current French homepage, and www.efutgol.com/fr is the new French homepage, then I am suggesting you 301 from equipamentsfootball.com to the /fr page. In all instances you want to make this change as smooth and seamless as possible for users. This process also has the benefit of retaining the maximum amount of your current link value.

I recently read about a phenomenon called "google places purgatory" basically this is when your listings are all active and have no suspension or holds but still you cant seem to see any activity on that listing. This happened to two of my listings. Many of the suggestions were to delete the "broken" places ad and start over. Still tracking the result of this. I agree with EGOL. Since you are looking for a specific figure I'll share a 4 - 10 month timeline for achieving results is quite reasonable. That timeline depends on numerous factors which definitely include your client's ability to quickly implement requested changes and produce quality content as per your agreement.

PageRank is content unaware - it is solely a measurement of link popularity. The PageRank remains zero for these pages because, more likely than not, Google has simply not updated the Toolbar PR. What is the MozRank for these pages?
