How Long For New Keyword Rank Data?
Thank you for the reply. I already have used other tools, just was interested in SEOMoz insights for them. Seems silly to have to wait that long a for an initial run.

Are Pro plan users limited to a 3 report limit in open site explorer?
This sounds like it might be a bug. The best way to get an answer for this particular question is to email help@seomoz.org and they'll get back to you right away. There were some upgrades and changes made recently that could be the cause of this problem.

What should I do about links coming in that are from link farm type sites?
I agree with John's assessment of the links to your site. There is nothing you can do about them and Google does not penalize you for any unpaid links that you have acquired. Also, on one of the sites we had a dmoz link and it is not showing in OSE? Linkscape only captures the top 25% of pages on the internet. The question is, how buried in the dmoz directory is that link? If you go to dmoz.org, how many clicks does it take you to land on the page with the link? What is the PA of that page? If the page is too deep or has too low of a PA then Linkscape wont see it, and Google may not either.

How soon should links show up in OSE?
I don't know how frequently Google will index new links. For OSE, the linkscape release date was the 25th, but the crawl was done probably a couple of weeks before that. It takes some time to crawl, then some time to process those results.

Reviewing a competitors links
and the good news is if you implement high quality content and focus on high quality links and social signals, you should eventually be able to overtake them. I've done it a number of times. As frustrating as it is to deal with, it can be dealt with.

Major Website Migration Recovery Ideas?
Hi Joe, Thanks for your reply. It's certainly been an interesting couple of years, the fact is we've only really been able to sustain it thanks to the fact that I think our content and offering to the visitors of our site is that strong. The internal linking structure of the site is something we have been thinking to look at. The problem from our perspective is we think all the links we provide on the page are of value and use to a website visitor. With this in mind, we are not overly keen on removing any of them from the page, so what else is available to us to do, in order to make it easier for search engines? Thanks Neil

Is it ok to just use the end of the url when using a Rel Cononical Link?
My vote is to use the full url on this. Just eliminates the possibility for confusion (although both technically work).

Redirect links add seo value?
Pagerank does not flow through like a normal link would. At this point its a "domain authority" type of link, still worthwhile to have.

How do you determine a quality link?
The easier it is to obtain a link the lower it's value. Great links are like the Marine Corps Officer's Sword.... "Earned. Never given."

Youtube Social Blog - how to set this up?
One thing you can try is reaching out to your Adwords Account team (or reach out to Google and request an Adwords Acct Manager, if you don't already have one). They are often able to get you additional Youtube perks.

How Does This Site Rank So Well?!
I agree with Ryan's response. It's always good to do competitive analysis but stay away from the spammy websites and do some article marketing and social book marking if you have to, provide high value content to the market in that niche instead of reporting it. Be the market leader for that niche. Good luck.

Ecommerce
Agree with EGOL on the complexity of this issue. Seeping decisions on this can be dangerous. One point I will speak to is the duplicate content on the search results issue. I assume you are running into this problem because your search results pages are being indexed by google, and many of them show similar content. There is no consensus on this issue right now, even from Google. They will not penalize, however, because of duplicated content found in search results. So i wouldnt worry about that problem right now. As for the expired/sold inventory pages, i would say to either redirect to a more permanent page (like a ford explorer sub category page for all explorers) or you just delete those pages, making sure that you manage your sitemaps and urls on a regular basis. But that usually takes too much time.

When using ALT tags - are spaces, hyphens or underscores preferred by Google when using multiple words?
YES!!!! Always use lowercase for filenames because if you use Upper and Lower (sometimes called camel case) for your internal and menu linking Google will crawl it and index the U&l. Then the fun begins when you have to match your sitemap to that!

What does "base" link mean here?
I would always recommend when implementing canonical tags that you use an absolute links, which just means your entire url starting with http:// When they are talking about relative canonical links they mean relative to the "base" link, which could also be called the root of your website. So if your url was: http://www.rootdomain.com then your relative rel canonical tag would be
