In Moz's Keyword Explorer/Explore By Site, Can I Exclude a Keyword From the Results?
I'm not aware of a way to remove keywords in MOZ directly, but you could always export to csv and filter it there. Or it may be that all or the majority of these keywords have a low difficulty if they are based on a brand or product name and you can filter them out that way. Just keep in mind that you may loose some good ideas by doing that.

How long will old pages stay in Google's cache index. We have a new site that is two months old but we are seeing old pages even though we used 301 redirects.
I don't know the answer to your question but can share my personal experience. I have waited as long as 10 months for old, redirected pages to be removed from Google's index.

Folders or no folders in url?
No problem, I have just been going through the links and the consensus seems to be that it is best to leave alone. So yes I would leave it alone, but keep in mind for future sites as keywords in URLs are a ranking factor but only a small one. I haven't found anything that does an analysis of keyword in URL versus short URL for mobile which would be interesting. Thanks for your patience whilst we sorted that out.

Rel="prev" / "next"
Interesting development which may be of interest to you Ernst: Google admitted just the other day that they "haven't supported rel=next/prev for years." https://searchengineland.com/google-apologizes-for-relnext-prev-mixup-314494 "Should you remove the markup? Probably not. Google has communicated this morning in a video hangout that while it may not use rel=next/prev for search, it can still be used by other search engines and by browsers, among other reasons. So while Google may not use it for search indexing, rel=prev/next can still be useful for users. Specifically some browsers might use those annotations for things like prefetching and accessibility purposes."

Rankings dropped
Hi Maureen! Meghan from the Help Team here at Moz. Thanks so much for the great question! I'm sorry to hear about your client's rankings. I do want to make sure to mention Domain Authority is not a metric used by Google in determining search rankings and has no effect on the SERPs. Regarding the keyword ranking changes you’re seeing in your Campaign, I’d be glad to take a closer look. I’ll reach out to you shortly via email once I investigate!

The factors considered in the new domain authority algorithm? On-site factors we can use to compare with competitors? Is having an NA as a spam score a bad thing?
Hey there - thanks for reaching out to us. The new model gives search marketers the ability to more accurately judge the value of a site and their work. The new Domain Authority score offers a more accurate representation of a site’s ranking ability through a machine-learned model that is set to keep pace with Google’s algorithm updates. The model includes proprietary metrics link Spam score and link quality patterns. The inclusion of Spam Score and link quality pattern identification mean that links from valuable sources will be given more weight in the calculation of DA than links from spammy sources. With spam score, we are measuring the spam score of sites that are linking to you, your own sites spam score does not impact DA. We’ll continue to improve our Domain Authority and Page Authority algorithms and strengthen our link index as the search landscape changes. In terms of future updates, we anticipate this new DA model being quite stable over time. We will keep track of possible changes that we might need to make and we’ll be sure to keep you updated. I hope this helps but please let us know if there's more we can help to clarify!

Since DA update, all H1s are lost
Hi Jeannie, Just throwing another wild theory into the mix, could this be related to a caching issue at all? I don't suppose you're seeing the latest version but Google/other people aren't yet? I can see you're on Wordpress and use WP Rocket that's all Kind regards, Nick

Please help us undertsand the things we need to improve so that google crawler visit us more often to reindex pages from our domain
Hi Bhaskaran, Someone with more knowledge than me may be around soon to give you a more in depth answer, but this should get you going. Google has a limited amount of resources to crawl each webpage, so to be efficient it schedules pages to be crawled based on a few different things. The one i suspect is affecting your crawl times is how often your content is updated. If google does not believe that your site will be updated frequently it sees no reason to crawl it that often. If you want google to crawl more often you need to give it a reason to do so, that means ensure your site is easily crawled by bots, good internal linking and make sure your content is fresh and up to date. On a side note, as you are carrying out a domain migration it might be easier to redirect the pages to the new page on the new domain (301 redirect) and ensure your new domain has the points i raised above. I hope this helps?

How to Increase US traffic for other GEO based website
I can't make any judgement without looking at Analytics and much more data, but there's a possibility that you might have to consider making a version specifically for the US audience in order to tailor it for readers of that country. You can learn more about Internationalization and Hreflang here: https://moz.com/learn/seo/hreflang-tag

Does redirected traffic still contribute to SEO?
Yes, there is a difference - but it is variable. If you have links pointing to a redirect which: 1) chains (redirects stringing together) 2) is not a 301 3) lands on a page with highly dissimilar content (in machine terms, think Boolean string similarity), to Google's last active ache of the redirecting URL ... then your links are likely to be nullified, or they won't help you very much Use redirects that point to (mathematically / %-wise) similar content. Use 301s, don't chain your redirects If you meet all of these conditions, then some links can continue to supply a decent amount of ranking authority, even through redirects

If we put the disavow links in google, does MOZ crawl the same links?
Hi Eli, Any update on this feature? It's been over a year now since your post above. Has this moved on to the development roadmap now? Thanks Tom

Removing many pages from my site a problem?
This really depends on a number of different factors... How many pages does your site have in total? Removing 98 pages from a site that only has 100 would be pretty drastic. If your site has thousands of pages though, that 98 really isn't a whole lot. What's the quality of these 98 removed pages? If you're cleaning out thin/weak content, then removing these is likely a very good strategy. What's the topical focus of these 98 pages? If those 98 pages are random or irrelevant compared to the focus of your brand, then removing them may create less dilution of your main content. All in all, it really depends on the purpose of removal here and where it fits in your overall strategy. Hope that helps.

Why are Internal, nofollowed links good for Domain Authority?
Thanks for your answers. I'll assume then that 'Internal Nofollow links' are included in the Links Overview report more for information, than as a factor that goes towards DA. I think I was confused because the competitors website had Internal Nofollow highlighted in green with a tick (see image in OP), that made me think it was included as a factor in DA.

New Domain Authority 2.0 have affected my website rankings badly
In addition to all the features that went into calculating the old DA, we consider the quality of the site that links to the domain you’re researching. As a result, links from valuable sources will be given more weight in the calculation of DA than links from lower quality sources. This update includes a better understanding and consideration for the quality of the sites linking to the site you’re researching, and links to a page that redirect to another page. If you’ve seen your DA decrease this indicates that the model determined that some of the links you have don't correspond with ranking well. Your best bet is to focus your link building efforts on relevant sites that are likely to send you traffic. You can dig deeper into the quality of the linking domains pointing to your site in the overview section of Link Explorer, and reviewing the distribution of your linking domains by DA. You can use the chart to compare your backlink profile to your competitors. Head to Link Explorer > enter your site > scroll down to the Linking Domains by DA graphic. In terms of improving your Domain Authority, with the information above in mind, it's best to look at both your on-page SEO to make sure you've covered the basics. Then you also want to look at your off-site SEO and building more links more links to your site. There are lots of different areas of Link Building to explore, from patching up broken links, to good ol' fashioned content creation. Here is a great video by our founder Rand which goes over some easy link building tactics to get you started. I hope this helps to further clarify!
