Thanks Andriy, Appreciate views. I like that Video reviews idea, is there any free tool you aware of which can capture voice and screenpic. Thanks

Sitewide link to a sister site question
Thanks. I did make the links nofollow, as the purpose wasn't to pass rank, but to show the user a site that is also helpful to them, and related as well. (And I get nervous even making links nofollow, as it could be a signal to Google that I'm trying to page sculpt of something -- just can't win.) Without giving away the exact sites, I'll try to describe with made-up site topics. Let's say Site A is about how people can receive tax credits for installing solar in their home, and Site B is about saving money on electricity usage in the home. Not the same products, but both interest the same user. In my case, the sites are in the home telecommunications areas.

Can You Suggest 3 Books to Help Me with My 2014 Seth Godin Pick 3 Project?
Thanks Alex. Wil Reynolds actually gave me a copy of Influence at MozCon this past summer and I found it completely fascinating. I read it twice. I think that one's a definite keeper. Don't Make me Think is a very amusing, smart, astute, relevant, fast and easy read, which makes it a good choice for busy people who still want to learn something. You've got me curious about Out of the Ordinary so I'm going to hop over to Amazon and check it out. I'll let you know how it all shakes out!

Backlink Badges - Good or Bad
This is what I'd do: Use the brand name in the anchor text Allow people to remove them (or, to be extra safe, turn it off by default and prompt people to turn it on) Keep the links followed. You could definitely debate the last point, but as long as you're not paying people for the link itself or trying to manipulate Google's algorithm it shouldn't be a big deal. If you're extremely risk averse, go ahead and add nofollow to the links.

My Page Ran Dropped from 3 to 1\. What would cause this?
Be aware that what you see in the toolbar is Toolbar PageRank. It's an approximation of the PR a site has, and is updated infrequently, and isn't necessarily very current (even right after an update). Matt Cutts stated that programmers at Google were working on something else broken on the toolbar and decided to update the PR displayed. Google has their own PR they use internally, that is updated, and much more refined than anything any of us get to see. I'd be more worried about your traffic, sales, any messages in Google Webmaster Tools, etc. Those are what you should be paying more attention to.

Massive amounts of incoming links caused by parked domains
Happy Holidays to you, too! It's possible that the penalty is related only to the duplicates, but the process I described above should help uncover whether that's the case. It's definitely worth cleaning up the domains you owned that are duplicates rather than 301s. As for the other older links - it depends on how bad they are, how many there are, and whether you think there's risk that Google may penalize you for them. Unfortunately no easy answers there. SEO isn't the only inbound channel! Social media, blogs, building an email list, content marketing, etc. are all options, too. I like targeting hihgly relevant, rarely searched phrases. The CPCs tend to be lower and the quality of leads higher. And working on conversion rate is a great idea since that helps all kinds of traffic. Wish you all the best!

Please Correct This on-site SEO strategy w/ respect to all the updates
For your on-page strategy that you have described, ask yourself how each part of that benefits the reader. If it really doesn't benefit the reader and you are only doing it because you believe it might help SEO, then skip it. Put keywords in the back of your mind, not the front when writing titles. Sometimes, that means not having the keywords at the front of the title as well. I looked at the example page you gave and the title looks a bit repetitive: "NLP Practitioner Training, NLP Practitioner Certification" To a searcher, that doesn't look very appealing in the SERPs. The repetition of "NLP Practitioner" could even keep the page from ranking as well as it could. Try something a bit more human, like "New NLP Practitioner Training Locations in California & Utah". That's more people-friendly, and if I gathered correctly from a quick skimming of the article, is a better description of what is on the page than simply two keywords stuck together. So think firstly about what a person will think when they read that title in the SERPs, THEN worry about where you can fit your keywords into it. Really, this is how you should think about ALL of your content, too. Write about the topic, and make it your priority to convey your message well to readers. If you write about it effectively, you will probably use your keyword enough times. The idea is that instead of worrying so much about one or two keywords, you will be able to to get more visitors who were searching for a variety of things related to your topic, in addition to ranking better for that keyword. Not to mention you will run less of a risk of over-optimizing. If you haven't seen the Blueprint yet, do check it out: http://moz.com/blog/how-to-rank The part about "Dream Your Theme" goes into more detail about the way optimizing for a theme or topic works. I have also touched on this idea in a few different articles: http://kercommunications.com/tags/topical-optimization/

Should we include a canonical or noindex on our m. (mobile) pages?
Thanks! What about re=next and rel=prev - if we added it to the desktop version, should we also add to the mobile version?

Why are my Adwords Total Estimated Conversions Less than My Phone Call Conversions?
The estimated amounts are grossly overestimated. Get conversion tracking in place and phone tracking in place if you choose you need that and then look at actual data not estimates.

Page title tags and joomla/JCE
No problem. The JCE Editor doesn't set the Meta Title Tag, just the content that is contained in an article. It sounds though that you have now found the relevant place. So is it working for you now? Peter

Hidden Backlinks
You could try searching NerdyData for a search operator like below: href="http://example.com Make sure to leave the closing quotation mark out to account for any sub pages. This may or may not return some different results, it's worth a shot.
