Yes, like Keri said. The 301 might not be working. It's actually normal for google to index 301ed domains. Ive seen it more than a handful of times. So it's probably a matter of time before it disappears.

Yes, it's possible to be penalised for a single page or single keyword. Your page has mostly  san diego domestic violence lawyer as the anchor text. You might want to stop doing that altogether. I didnt take a look at your competitors though so they might be more SEO, but there's a possibility that you got a minor penalty for that keyword phrase.

Use Screaming Frog to see what can be spidered and where from.

We do have a known issue (http://health.moz.com/) that rankings are missing for some accounts. We are pushing out a fix for this. I'm not sure of the timeframe for the fix, but do know that it's not you, we're the ones who have messed up and it'll be fixed soon.

Hello WMCA, Does BV want you to add that rel ="canonical" tag to the main product page, or just the paginated review pages. If the former, I say no way. If the latter, we should discuss further. It could be advantageous, but I'd rather send the authority to the main product page instead.

From what I see when I Google your brand name I get a lot of universal results (images, Yelp, Crunchbase). So that mostly shows that you're still missing a bit of authority for your own site. If you get some more authority based links it's relatively easily to get the sitelinks on for brand related terms.

A lot of companies actually do this but I would suggest doing it separately (with great page content) as it has given me the best results with all the ecom sites we've worked with, even without link building. There's actually no duplicate issues there as I haven't seen one yet for that situation.

In order to be eligible for a Google+ Local page a business must: Make in-person contact with its customers Have a physical street address Have a local phone number If a business can't say 'yes' to all 3 points, then it does not qualify. If I've misunderstood your question, please let me know.

I think that you have to understand why these people deleted your links. A) Are they reading Matt Cutts and worrked that he is going to slap them for linking to you? B) Are you posting things on your site that they don't like? C) Did you competitor contact them and say something that made them take down your links. D) Do they think that their site looks better without links to other websites. E) Are they afraid of losing traffic to you or leaking linkjuice. F) Some other crazy idea in their head. So, maybe the first action would be to get in touch with them to find out why the links were taken down...  This would be a hard message to write but maybe you could ask if you did something to offend them and were writing to see if that was the reason.

If you're looking to redirect ALL sub-pages to the new main page then you would use mod_rewrite with your .htaccess file something like- RedirectMatch 301 ^/blog/dental-tips(.*)$ http://floridadentist.com/dental-tips/ If you're trying to redirect to the matching URI just under that new sub-directory this would be more appropriate- RedirectMatch 301 ^/blog/dental-tips(.*)$ http://floridadentist.com/dental-tips/$1

Hi Kevin, Afraid I don't use Sharepoint but a quick Google came up with the following- http://www.mavention.nl/blog/sharepoint-redirects-revisited-301-302 As you mentioned a 301 is better then a 302. Rel=canonical does take time for Google to take note did you give it enough time ? To Answer the main question I hope the above link helps.

Hey Fuel Interactive -- To answer your specific question, I would use the meta (noindex, follow) tag instead of the canonical. It doesn't pass authority, but it is the correct usage. It will strike the page from ranking consideration, and allow the overall course page to have less competition. Another question for you: is the article listing page already ranking higher than the overall course page, or is this a worry? If it's a worry, I recommend testing it out first so you don't prematurely optimize. Just a thought. Hope that helps -- Andrew
