Wordpress and Blogger etc Links
Hi Healeyman, Tom has pretty much nailed the answer above. Just one thing to add. If the blogs in question meet all of the criteria Tom has mentioned in his first paragraph and are likely to bring you referral traffic, perfect. If you are just thinking about the possibility that they might influence search engine rankings, your time would probably be better spent looking for opportunities that have a potential to bring people to your site. SEO best practice : HTTP to HTTPS
I wonder why Google's PhD engineers didn't post detailed info about this?.... But, I can probably understand it better from the Moz blog. They also should have warned people that it would tank their adsense earnings.

Google has a penalty on my website? How to resolve?
My answer is totally based on my experience and the information you have provided so far. I believe that your website is not under any manual penalty but still due to the low quality of links you have built over the period of time; it is now affecting your rankings. How to get out of it? The best way to start is by auditing your links, get all the links from Open Site Explorer, Google Webmaster Tool and if you can invest then get the link profile of your website from Majestic SEO as they have the largest index of links among all. Audit the link profit and separate the bad links (you can use software like Link Detox and Link Risk here) from the profile and try to remove as many bad links from the link profile as possible and create a disavow file for the rest. Upload the Disavow file in Google Webmaster tool and you are half done! This way you have told Google that you don’t want a link juice from the list of links that you have updated in the disavow file. The step two is to create regular and kick ass content on the website and get quality links back to the website. After submitting the disavow file your core job is to create quality content and get high quality links naturally that points back to the website. Hope this helps!

How to avoid keyword stuffing in dynamic pages?
I agree with Trung. Keep in mind that any tool, including Moz's, take a one-size-fits-all approach. The tool is meant to warn you when your page doesn't follow best practices - but if there's a perfectly legitimate reason for the words to be there, don't sweat it. If the keywords make sense, by all means leave them in there. You don't always have to follow best practices. On the other hand, if you fear the page isn't ranking well because of over-optimization, there are other places you can controll use of keywords, such as the title tag, the alt attribute in photos, headers, the URL and incoming anchor text. Often, for over-optimized pages, toning down the keywords in these areas can make a difference. The one thing I would caution against is placing any text you want to hide in an iFrame, as Google is getting good at associating those with the page content. Hope that helps! Best of luck with your SEO.

Will Google penalize a text ad if the display URL goes nowhere?
Just to be clear, when you say display and destination urls need to match -- you're referring to the domain correct? There is no rule that says display URLs & Destination URLs need to be the same other than the domain. For instance, I have made ads that have the following display URLS: Thing.Domain.com/KeyWord-Thing domain.com/Keyword domain.com/Thing.Keyword.Stuff for URLS that looked like this:: domain.com/20141231/31/nerwal-things/keyword-never-in-the-url domain.com/stuff/cart/keyword whyasubdomain.domain.com So there is definitely no correlation on the Google side about keeping display URLs and Destination URLs the same beyond domain.com Also, as far as QS goes -- Google wants you to have the best CTR you can get and suggests regularly to try testing different display URL sequences and words with each adgroup (assuming you have very well segmented adgroups). So yes, your Display URL will impact your QS, so test some changes

Should I accept a lower role than what I applied for?
Hello Lumina, ahsan88 & Zippy-Bungle, First accept my apology for not responding on your contributions earlier than today. Just got very busy with family. Actually I did reply to the thread from my phone but the answer didn't get updated. Anyways... the updates are that I thought well in light of your answers and I decided to push back politely. I contacted my interviewer saying something like... 'I was hoping to get some feedback on my interview earlier ... and that I was actually offered a different position". I added her on Linkedin and sent her an message from there (I had her email but i hadn't taken it from her personally so I thought it would be impolite to land in her mailbox). Well... She never replied back to me. I waited a week and (12 days to get an answer from the HR guy) and eventually sent an email to the HR person to get a status update on our last conversation. Its been 4 days now and he too never got back to me. I don't know what to think about it... but I do know that it is not professional to say absolutely nothing in response to an email etc. Anyways... my job hunt continues and hopefully I will find one... someday... hopefully soon. Thanks again for your valuable answers and I truthfully appreciate them all the more because I think its great of you guys to have taken out time to reply on a question which was more of a personal nature. Peace to all, Regards, Talha

Looking for a Tool to Assist with Site Optimization. Does it already exist?
Thanks Chris: Thanks for the idea. I use Screaming Frog all the time but in this case I'm looking to analyze 100 keywords at one time. It looks like no one knows about a tool to do this so I'm going to close this questions. Thank you,

301 Redirects - But still duplicate content?
Taulia, the duplicate content indications that your Moz campaign shows for pages that have been 301 redirected are there so you can make sure your redirects are targeting the right page. They're not actually errors and no, you don't also have to use conanical tags to those pages.
