Page Title "Untitled Document" with mozbar
I managed to auto-resolve that. I tried to delete the question but looks like I can't. So, if that can be useful to someone else, I had an iframe in the page with a <title>Untitled document</title> (!) which was causing that.

Absurdly High Crawl Stats
FWIW, after this crawl, our organic traffic has been gangbusters since this heavy crawl period (which stopped around 9/12.) Whatever this heavy crawl was, it appears to have been a net positive for us!

Since two years i lost place in google search
Hi There There certainly looks like there's an issue with links. Here's a few resources on cleaning them up; http://searchengineland.com/five-steps-to-clean-up-your-links-like-a-techie-166888 http://moz.com/blog/google-webmaster-tools-just-got-a-lot-more-important-for-link-discovery-and-cleanup http://www.greenlaneseo.com/blog/2014/01/step-by-step-disavow-process/ http://savvypanda.com/blog/guide-how-to-use-google-disavow-tool.html Essentially you need to remove and/or disavow as many bad links as you can. I'm also going to guess that you could use a design upgrade. I don't have any data to back this up, but it's just my opinion looking at the site. A poor design could also bring Panda into play. I've seen some sites get a bump after a design upgrade.

Duplicate content: Form labels and field content
Hi, No - that's not a problem. Anyway google is good at determining how things are even if you have a lot of duplicate content. And it's important to mention that there is no such thing as a Google duplicate content penalties - manual or otherwise. Panda dose target "duplicate content" but Panda is not a penalty is a filter and it's more complex, way more then "duplicate content" .. but that's a story for another day - anyway with a 500 pages site you are probabaly safe from panda even if you would have a lot of Panda signals... Cheers.

How to stop google from indexing specific sections of a page?
Unfortunately, there is no officially sanctioned method for blocking just a portion of a page from the index. As others have mentioned, there are tricks that might do it, but their effectiveness is inconsistent, and most of them will run the risk that Google could treat it as a red flag of some sort. More often, the results just end up being unpredictable (especially with JavaScript) and end up causing additional grief for your developers and visitors. Most of the time, if you're dealing with substantial amounts of content you don't want indexed, I'd look for other solutions, such as grouping that content or making sure more of your content on any given page is unique. Unfortunately, that depends a lot on why you want it blocked, so it's hard to give a one-size-fits-all answer.

Is Rank Tracker accurate?
Rank tracker is updated weekly and it is generally accurate but as the results shift constantly it may sometimes be different to a 'live' check. As an average figure however, especially when there's lots of keywords, it's still pretty useful.

How does Google treat Header tags now? H1s, H2s and H3s. What happens if you skip the H2?
Brian, I personally come from a slightly different stand point; relax. When changing themes these days I personally think that the Meta data is on the lower end of your concerns. Matt Cutts said even said in a video that if you have many pages that are missing H1, H2 etc. it isn't even worth your time to go back and add them. RobertFisher of DrumBeat marketing is an avid poster on this forum often says that SEO is a lot more than just ranking. I don't want to speak for him but from what I have gathered he uses a lot of the meta data has a hook, more than just a ranking feature. Combining the two pieces of information I stated, I try not to concern myself with H1,H2 as far as ranking, I view it like the text on a billboard or the marketing behind an advertisement. This is where the lines of SEO and Marketing begin to get blurred in my opinion. Use your meta data to sell your website and get the individual to click on the search result. Rankings will follow. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBTBEfd7z_Y <-- Matt Cutts video on meta Data

Strange problem with basic html anchor tag linking to my domain
Many thanks, Timbronz The solution you suggested worked perfectly. The "\x" is a particularly very different insight as just escaping "%" with "" does not work. Dennis Seymor, it is finding that way to redirect was the toughest problem as just escaping does not work and this has stumped many.

Question about using abbreviation
Does your text make clear the meaning of the abbreviation? When we were SEOmoz.org, we never needed to add /search-engine-optimization/ to our URLs, for example.

Using Linkedin Groups for Content Marketing
Thanks Keri, Usually we get a few hundred views which isn't bad for relatively technical engineering based post. Its worth bearing in mind and making sure that I am a better citizen than I might otherwise have been before I read this post

Content Marketing and Link Building Strategy in Industrial B2B
I know this is a bit of an old topic but I had a similar question and here have been some of the things that have worked for me. 1. Case Studies with good visuals 2. See if customers might be able to link back to you if they have blogs 3. provide beginner information that customers or people in the same industry might be interested in. 4. I find product and/or material comparisons do very well. 5. Make sure your linkedin and twitter are optimized. 6. Look at doing videos explaining concepts or products on youtube 7. Look at other technical service providers that are industry leaders and see what they are doing. It is definitly a challenge. We are a building and manufacturing material supplier and it is hard to find customers who are web savvy and at the same time try not to attract the DIY types. Let me know if you have anymore ideas other than what I listed above. Thanks Paul

Quick Question: Is it Bad for SEO to paste from Word to your CMS?
If you are using a great CMS, like DNN, you have the ability to paste as plain text. Then, style the html accordingly. If you dont, prepare to create a lot of junk code and span tags.
