Need advice on direction to go with site
Backlinks are what's hurting you. According to AHREFs, you've got 52 backlinks coming from paces like article directories, Russian comment spam, etc. Get as many bad backlinks removed as you can, disavow what you can't get removed. But make sure you're building new links - quality links - at the same time. You need new links to improve rankings, getting rid of the bad links isn't enough.

Should I be concerned about Google indexing an old domain if the listings redirect to the new domain?
Everything is to be as expected - in time Google will adjust appropriately and drop the old domains from the index to include the newest domains (which are 301'ed to the new URL).

I want to uninstall the Moz SEO toolbar. How do I do this?
Hi Bonnie, Linda and Justin are absolutely right. You can follow their instructions to uninstall the toolbar permanently. If, however, you'd like to be able to temporarily disable it, you can toggle it on and off using a keyboard shortcut: Cmd + Option + Control + M on OSX, Shift + Ctrl + Alt + M on Windows. You can also toggle it on and off by clicking on it's bookmark icon. For a good overview of what you can do with the Moz Toolbar, as well as how to configure it to meet your needs, check out the video at http://moz.com/help/guides/research-tools/mozbar. Best of luck! No descripton on Google/Yahoo/Bing, updated robots.txt - what is the turnaround time or next step for visible results?
Great, the good news is following submission of a sitemap via Webmaster Tools, things appear to be remedied on Google! It does seem, however, that the issue still persists on Bing/Yahoo. Some of the 404's are links from an old site that weren't carried over following my redesign; so that will be handled shortly as well. I've submitted the sitemap via Bing Webmaster Tools, as such I presume it's a similar matter of simply 'waiting on Bing'? Many thanks for your valuable insight!

Is there any way to stop yahoo local from adding names to local listings?
Hi Spencer! Unless the listing was created with the business name/personal name entered that way, then that's right to assume that Yahoo has pulled the info from elsewhere. So, the task at hand here is for you to sleuth out the source of that data and see if you can correct it there. You should definitely check out the big picture of Yahoo's data sources by looking at this infographic: http://moz.com/learn/local/local-search-data-us but given the Yahoo/Yelp deal of 2014, I'd think that would be very important to investigate, too (see: http://techcrunch.com/2014/03/12/yahoo-partners-with-yelp-to-bring-local-data-to-its-search-tools/) I would start by searching for that undesired business title in Google's main engine and on Google Maps to see if you can pull it up, wherever it exists and then hopefully take care of it at the source. Hope this helps!

Duplicate content question
Sounds like your index page is most helpful for users to see all your videos than for Google and other search engines. I'd either figure out a way for your index page to be less duplicate content or just de-index. I'd imagine that most searches which land a user to your site are going to be for specific videos, not general videos made by your brand. The latter group of folks will likely land on your homepage.

Multiview - Are they worth or can I do it myself?
Thank you for the answers! Answered my questions very well and I'll be moving on from Multiview. It sounded a little odd to me to track it down to the exact company who is visiting a site, but I just wanted to cover my bases and make sure I wasn't missing something.

Does adding a backlink in google plus comments work?
As others have said, this will achieve nothing. However, there is a good way to use Google+ with new posts, and that is to optimise the first 35-50 characters as you would a blog post or other page you are trying to optimise. The reason being, that first part then becomes the page title for that particular post. -Andy

Thanks for all the input. Google does seem to crawl everything these days, so I'm also in conclusion if the files fit, they'll get crawled. Sitemaps, internal links and optimized images are all a must.

Rankings tanking fast and I cant figure out why. Any insight?
I would look at before and after dates in analytics and compare to see where your traffic loss is occurring. Have you been manually tracking the rank of your keywords over time? have you noticed a drop off for a keyword that you would expect to be a high traffic driver? It could be that you have lost a referring link that was sending over a lot of traffic, was/are you doing any PPC traffic that may have had an affect on your volumes, sometimes people forget that PPC spend also drives organic traffic, so you would see a natural decline in organic traffic if you slow down your PPC spend.

Changing business name from keyword to brand name, what are the effects on SEO?
That's a pickle! Yeah, whatever you choose I might suggest making the changes gradually. Introduce elements one at a time instead of all at once. In this way, you might be able to preserve some of your established link equity and relevancy signals.

Content on ecommerce categories - good or bad?
Content that adds value to the user experience is never bad - more content, more reasons to rank, better information for the user to take action. Ecommerce websites are more difficult to handle though - the goal is usually to convert to a sale and sometimes content can get in the way of that happening. If you've A/B tested and found that conversions are greater without it, then good for you! You've identified a barrier to your visitors and eliminated it for better conversions. What needs to be weighed is the amount of conversions - does the content bring in more, new traffic and eventually converts? I.e. is the conversion volume greater with the content than without it. If no, then stick with the A/B test results. Putting content down the page may help you rank, but is it helping your visitors? You don't want to shove content onto a page just because you think it belongs there - is it beneficial to the user? If no, can you put that content somewhere else where it is beneficial to the user? Amazon is common SERP to beat, let's take a look at one of their category pages: http://www.amazon.com/Outlet/b/ref=sv_gb_3?ie=UTF8&node=517808 We see that they do include a small snippet of text at the top, to describe the category. Then they give the user what is expected, a lot of products to view; and at the bottom they have a longer category description (sometimes reviews and related category information). This is a common way to structure category pages. But, your market may be different so it may be worthwhile to brainstorm how your page structure would most benefit your users.

Opt out from certain Google properties - what's the downside?
Hi There! Would you be able to offer a bit more detail about the business model? Is this a local business with a physical location, face-to-face contact with customers and a Google+ Local page? If so, you must have a local area code phone number available on the Google+ Local page ... but I'm not quite sure this is what you're describing. The more detail you can provide, the better the community will be able to offer thoughts.

Moz not reading Visit to my website
Hi There, I am really sorry to hear that you are running into this issue. This would be a great question to send into help@moz.com, because we can go over account details and provide a one on one correspondence with a helpster. Also, in order to verify if there is an issue with GA we will sometimes need a screen capture of your GA account numbers. In general though, we usually take a snapshot of the your GA traffic at the start of the day and if Google finishes collection after we take the snapshot the results may be a bit off. This can create a discrepancy, but from the information you have provided it would seem to indicate a larger issue. We should be able to resolve it once you email help@moz.com and if you have any other questions or concerns in the meantime please let me know. Have a great day!
