Maintaining Link Value Of Old URLS With 301 Redirects
We have changed the URLS a few times over the past decade. It is just maintaining some of the super old backlinks to category and product pages that are getting harder to maintain. I appreciate you taking the time to answer.

Does the Moz toolset have a monthly reporting function yet? Can't seem to find it in the interface. I'm trialling the software but probably going to move to another service if this isn't available.
Hi there, Pixelbypixel is correct, there is a monthly reporting option. Did you find it?

Ranking Google News - 3 digits in URL?
I've heard it both ways, that a sitemap is a way around the digits in the URL. But I can confirm, for sure, that if you are approved by Google News (must submit for approval), that the digits in the URL will work for sure.

Previously owned domain & canonical
I'm confused about one thing - how did you request URL removal in Google Webmaster Tools if you no longer own the domain? It looks like Google is caching some pages of your Southernafricatravel.com domain and showing them as appearing on Preferredsafaris.com. When I dig into the cache, it's actually showing your main/active site. This could be because of an old canonical relationships between them (whether actual canonical tags, 301-redirects, or something similar), or it could be because they contained duplicate content and Google chose to view them as canonical. Sometimes, that happens even if you don't specify it. I don't love that the new owner has put up spam irrelevant to the domain, and it's possible that could bite you somehow, but I suspect it's unlikely. Once Google sees that this old pages don't resolve, I think you'll see them gradually disappear. There is no duplicate content at this point.

Can't connect with Google Analytics
Glad you were able to find it! This is a first we've heard of extensions causing this issue. Can you tell me which ones you needed to disable or remove to get it to work? We would like to try and duplicate this for others.

Moz shows an F grade and 0 keywords on a previously high ranking page - Please help
Hi Marcus, Firstly, thank you very much for taking the time to make such a detailed response to my question. I truly appreciate it! I have a couple questions if you dont mind. I noticed that another website that has clearly taken information from our article and is now ranking above us. Whilst they have made some changes, they have clearly significantly referenced from our article with no link or reference. I plan on getting in contact with them however I would like to know if you have experienced this or if you know of a way of letting google know? Have a look for yourself, you will see they are remarkably similar and our article is much older: http://www.careerfaqs.com.au/news/news-and-views/10-high-paying-jobs-you-wont-need-a-degree-for/ Also, it seems that our authority for both page and domain seem to only increase very slowly even with large growth of traffic and social. Do you have any recommendations to get this boosted? I have made all the changes you recommended, again thank you for sharing these. In regards to using H2 in the menu's etc. How do I go about fixing this? Is this something my developer will need to do? Kind regards, Will

Duplicate Content - Joint Press Releases
Sarita, this is why there is the possibility of canonical tags. More info about canonicalization: learn through moz.com When you have written the item and share it through any kind of software or partner I would suggest publishing the original first with a canonical tag to your own site, then sending it to the rest and asking them to include the same canonical tag. That way you should be doing fine. Regards Jarno

SEO for franchises
We're running TV, radio, and print ads for them. The content for the TV and print ads come from the parent company, and we customize them to fit the local market. We also handle the local SEO for them and run their citations through Moz Local. They do PPC, but it's ran by the parent company. They're also pretty good about getting reviews for Google+ and other review sites.

Google's Related Searches - Optimizing Possible?
a year ago i had a realated search to "webdesign" with the brand name. So when you searched for Webdesign then you got the brand name in the Searches Related section. That happend because nearly every site had Webdesign in the title-tag, and the most links to the pages had the title as anchor - so they had webdesign in the anchor text. (The brand name never appeared in suggest when u typed in webdesign) When u search for the brand the competitors popping up to. As well as Webdesign. The competitors never moved away, it just poped up more related search querries. So it is not usefull to spent the time on that topic. (possible but not so usefull in that case) I think that popping competitors are not so bad, if you are the better one But tell that a client..

Is there a service, paid or free, that allows you to see the full ip address of a visitor?
You can see all the IP addresses in server logs, or in your case possibly a javascript equivalent of the code posted by microdesign will be a more viable solution, as you are not trying to get the IPs of hits to your own server, but for your ads hosted on other sites. On the downside: this will not solve your issue. If anybody only a little bit experienced is doing a click fraud it is very likely that they are using zombies or bot networks to reach their goal. If they are using hacked servers, that is an easier solution, you just have to look at irregularly high number of hits from the same IP address accross your network, and block the IP. Using cookies and testing for them is a wise decision, because a php only bot won't be able to mimic cookies, if you set them with javascript. If you do all the above, there are still ways around it. If I were you I would contact a company experienced in user validating, there is no one stop shop solution for what you are trying to do.
