Change the date of the monthly report
We have the same complaint about the system. Hoping to hear that MOZ is planning to change this so that the custom monthly reports we set to run for us automatically will come in for the previous month on the first few days of the following month. Only having the report run every month on the day you set it up on is bonkers. With the system being the way it is currently I have set a reminder to reset all monthly reports to run this month once I see that September data is showing. Currently there is no other work around that I am aware of.

Time taken for Google Algorithm updates to show affect in Middle East?
It depends on the algorithm. Some algorithms are global, some are just for the US or other specific countries. Here in the Philippines, it used to take a year until we get some sort of change from an update. Now, they don't really announce the update. Sometimes we see it the day right after the release, sometimes, it's 3 months behind.

Anytime! And you should be ok with Google. Our product team is developing a feature to ignore certain parameters in crawl diagnostics so hopefully this will help for most e-commerce sites once it's available.

Search box within search results question
Depending on how long ago it was that you added the search box feature, it could very well be that Google's recently swept one site but not the other. As that's something more or less out of your control, I suggest looking through the code for the in-SERP search box and making sure that it's 100% accurate. Other than these things, I can't think of any reason why the search box wouldn't be on one but the other. Hope that helps!

Image ranking in Google but not in Bing and Yahoo search results
Hi, Do your images appear in your sitemap? Generally, there isn't a lot of difference between what Google and Bing look at, but they may both have different scores they associate with various aspects. With this in mind, make sure that: The image is well optimised and not too large The file is named accordingly Has good descriptive ALT text (but not spammy) Outside of that, it will also help if you build external links to that page and as with any SEO campaign, if you have pages that you wish to be more prominent for the search engines, remember to do some internal linking too. I hope that helps a little. -Andy

Do I have a Panda filter on a specific segment?
It is still possible it isn't a penalty from one of the major algorithms and you may be able to solve this by creating a strong internal linking strategy. It helps to formulate one if you use something like MindNode to create an overview of the site and then you can drill in on the pages in questions. It is possible that a noindex would cure this, but it all depends because even though you add a noindex tag to a page, Google can still read the page and apply the penalty. All it means is that the page won't be indexed. However, if you are relaunching everything very soon, you might be as well to sit tight and not do anything too rash for a short-term solution. -Andy

Product pages getting no internal links in Magento
I checked the category page you provided and can see the following code: [image: example.com-Aesculap-809139-20.jpg] I also checked Google and the product page is indexed. It could be that Moz has just not found the internal links yet. I don't think you have a problem with this issue.

Local search result not showing
Hi There! Unfortunately, I'm not very well versed in Local SEO in the Netherlands, but I do believe this Moz blog post will help you to begin troubleshooting how well-optimized your local presence is, regardless of country: http://moz.com/blog/troubleshooting-local-ranking-failures Also, want to be sure that your company is running a Google+ Local page ... not just a Google+ social type page and that you actually qualify as a local business of the type that Google would most typically show mapped results for. Do you make in-person contact with your customers and do they come to your physical location to do business with you? These are some important questions, and I hope the article will help!

Do you lose link juice when stripping query strings with canonicals?
You can check the cache copy, in some cases Google appends the parameter and in some cases it does not. This depends on the authority of the specific URL.

Can i get a list of internal and external links from moz?
Hi, So it sounds like you have ~20 internal links per page, which is not unreasonable and shouldn't be a point of concern. However, if you are still worried, then I'd worry less about finding a specific list of links to dig into - at this scale that likely won't be very helpful or actionable. I'd recommend that you reviewed the "Top Pages" report in OSE to see which pages have a large bulk of links. Then I'd do a review of the internal site architecture looking at the major elements (top and side navigation, footer links, any dynamic menu systems) and see whether there are places just to tighten that up a little. You can use what you learnt from the 'top pages' report to help inform this review. However, as I said - I'd certainly not feel you need to go overboard unless you have additional reasons to think that this might be a problem. Good luck!

Is there a reason why a host would be reluctant to give up Cpanel access info?
Masbro, sounds like a bait and switch tactic, which stinks. However, you can now approach it from 2 additional angles for your client: 1) Have them pay for 1 month of cPanel access at that $45 rate, then get in there, take a complete back up of the website files and database file (if a CMS like WordPress) and then create a new web hosting account in HostGator or GoDaddy or anywhere feasible to your client and a server you're used to working in. Or 2) Just request from that company a full, most recent backup copy of the website files and DB and then you can upload those files to a new host as noted above, then change the DNS records for the domain to point to the new server. I'd find out that cost and see which is the cheaper alternative, however, either way, I would get your client away from them and cancel any monthly fees. Move on and with you by their side! NOTE: Careful with the email hosting. So make sure you know where their email is hosted if using the same domain. If setting up a new host with their backup copy, then you can figure out the Mail settings/MX records as needed to make any modifications necessary. Hope you get things resolved! It sounds like they are willing to play ball, so that's a huge plus for you and the client. Patrick
