Indexing pages content that is not needed
You could put that portion of the page into an <iframe>and it wouldn't get indexed. However, I would not suggest doing that.</p> <p>Instead, I'd look into why that portion is what Google has decided to show. Remember, we write meta descriptions hoping that Google will decide to show that text in the SERPs. However, Google decides which is the best information to show and will adjust that information based on the user's search query.</p> <p>Is your site's information hierarchy sound? Meaning, does that aside information have headings or tags that make it more important to the page than your main information? What on-page factors may be causing Google to extract that side block information rather than your main information?</p></iframe>

How can I create a funnel report in Google Analytics if I don't have a /thank-you or conversion page?
It's not through an iframe, it's even easier than that. What you usually do to trigger an pageview in Google Analytics is: ga('send', 'pageview'); to do a virtual pageview you could do the same, but it's more valuable to provide a third value: ga('send', 'pageview', '/completed-form'); so you can easily find and set the goal. Does it make sense?

Anything I'm missing as my page just donst seem to rank
I would tell you MD about over optimisation, there is nothing natural at all about creating tons of content all about one keyword "liquidation"... maybe you are trying to hard. Sometimes our SEO skills are our own worst enemy as we fill in all the cracks and make everything perfect and Google turns around and says "this is too perfect". Turn his focus to conversions/goals and away from a keyword you will likely not hit for a while. Rather try get your users into your conversion funnel and to the products/services that are important. As Ray-pp mentioned, if your MD wants instant results he needs to put money into Google AdWords. On a side note, if we are talking about the "wilsonfield.co.uk" website and you want to have good ranking on the word "Liquidation" then the word needs to be in the home page title towards the front of the title: HOME PAGE Not Optimised for Liquidation : Business Recovery, Insolvency & Personal Debt -Trust Wilson Field Optimised for Liquidation: Liquidation | Business Recovery | Insolvency And Personal Debt -Trust Wilson Field Then, on your Liquidation page the title should be: LIQUIDATION PAGE Not Optimised for Liquidation : Liquidation does not have to mean the end of your business! Optimised for Liquidation: Liquidation | Company Compulsory And Voluntary Liquidation Hope that helps, will not get you first but you will jump quite a lot.

What are the restrictions/limitations to running SEO/Adwords in these countries?
Can you be more specific on the limitations you are inquiring about? The questions leaves room for a lot of varied answers. For example, are you referring to the specific advertising policies for a country? That would be whether or not a certain piece of content / product is able to be advertised through AdWords. Or Are you more looking for features that you would want to have in placed to improve SEO/SEM in particular countries? Example: having proper NAP (name, address, phone #) in place for each location being targeted, which would improve SEO/SEM in those countries. If looking at specific advertising policies then I suggest going straight to Google. Example policy: https://support.google.com/adwordspolicy/answer/176031?hl=en This article speaks to the healthcare advertising policies for countries. If looking for specific location strategies, then I suggest looking through Moz's Local Learning center to understand the nuances of local marekting. That can be found here: http://moz.com/learn/local

Does anyone know of a good keyword identification tool to be used on a particular piece of content?
Ray, thanks. This tool does get me part of the way there. Thanks for pointing me to it. For my particular intended purpose, I'm hoping for a tool to be used by busy journalists as a quick analysis tool to know what words and phrases are most promising to use in their headlines/titles.

Merging Websites
If the numbers are at that level I would completely agree with you. Are they tracking conversions? How many conversions would they have got from those 5000 visits and what is the value? It might be a simpler argument to say "Here is the cost of new site + maintenance. This is what it earned. Here is how I could better use that same budget if we focused on one site". I find that those business cases type arguments are a lot easier to get across sometimes that explaining the SEO rational.

How do I setup sitemaps for an international website?
Hi Niners, I wouldn't use subdomains for international website. Instead I'd use subfolders. Subdomains can be considered as totally separate websites, while using subfolders you "gather" the link juice in a more efficient way. But that is a personal opinion. Regarding your question: I'd create a profile in Google Webmasters Tools for each of the subdomains/subfolders Do not forget the international targeting for each of the profiles I would submit to each of these profiles it's own language based sitemap if you are talking about an international website, I'd consider using Hreflang markup. I hope this has helped. Gr., Keszi

Cross Domain duplicate content...
If the alternative is just de-indexing those duplicate pages on one website, then I'd definitely recommend the cross-domain canonicals, yes.

Will Adding Publish Date at end of Page Title for Blog posts Hurt SEO?
Having a date in the URL is effective so long as the SEO friendly structure takes place before the date exactly how you mentioned "/dangers-of-sharing-KM-knowledge-01-11-15". If you change the order you run the risk of priority keywords being ignored "/**01-11-15-**dangers-of-sharing-KM-knowledge" . Also try to keep the URL short as the browser and Google will truncate the URL if it is too long which will defeat the purpose of it being visible for users. Will it hurt your SEO? ... no way, so long as you are not updating the URL when you update the page. On a second note, the same does not apply for your titles as this is valuable real estate for primary keywords. IDEAL : Your Primary Key Phrase | Your Secondary Key Phrase | Your Tertiary Key Phrase IF YOU HAVE TO: Your Primary Key Phrase | Your Secondary Key Phrase - Your Company Name **NEVER : **Your Primary Key Phrase | Your Secondary Key Phrase - **01-11-15 ** Reason: The main reason we do not add it to the end of the title is because that space should be used for Keywords that best describe your page only. Even when it comes to you brand, I would rather replace the company name with a keyword if I can as Google in most cases already knows who you are.

Magento Canonical & Default Robots Settings
Thanks for your response Brady. Currently I do have self referencing canonical tags applied. Sounds as if I am alright leaving the default to index, follow, and using WMT to monitor what is being indexed. Thanks again Brady!

Crawl Page Issues
331 pages returned by Screaming Frog. Sorry, looks like the search wouldn't be causing it. I do see a lot of your crew pages are throwing a 301 redirect to screaming frog, but I can't duplicate this manually. It doesn't seem to crawl past page 9 though. Also, most of your internal links are redirecting as they include the city name in the url, and then strip the city out for the final page. I can't seem to access your robots.txt to see if something is preventing the crawling of these pages, but that might be where the problem is.

Black Seo --> Attack
Hello all, and thank you for answers. I disavow the links (500), but no effects, still. 3 Months passed. Nothing, I am still "banned", if i can say so. Anyway for unserious players (Seo), this will become a precedent situation. So if you want to "kick" the competition just buy them 500 - 1000 links, and you should be 1st position. Google must pay attention to this kinds of shits. Really now :)) With respect, Andrei
