  • Hi Maureen - sadly, I suspect this has to do with the DDoS attacks we've been facing all weekend (and we're still recovering). A piece published in the NYTimes (http://bits.blogs.nytimes.com/2014/06/19/tally-of-cyber-extortion-attacks-on-tech-companies-grows/) apparently enraged the attackers and they hit us very hard all through Friday-Sunday. I believe the PDF report export should be working very soon. If it isn't by tonight, please email our help team - help@moz.com - and they can assist.

  • This means that the green value is the highest against the other columns in the table. I.e your page rank is green and your competitors is grey for a specific page then you have the highest page rank against your competitors.

  • As Prestashop pointed out, there is an existing thread on the subject. I've added some details about the implementation to the existing thread.

  • My apologies -- I think I was not very clear. Here's what I mean. You have two search activities going on: Someone not in Greece looking at non-personalized search results for Greece for keyword X. This will give you one set of results. Someone in Greece doing a search for X. The results will still be based on that individual person's own search history. Even if there is no Google account logged in, Google still has information on prior searches and more for that IP address, browser, and probably a lot more. So, the search results will still be "personalized" to an extent. Now, I would imagine that if the second person would also use non-personalized search results for Greece, then the results should be very similar. Does this help?

  • Followerwonk is a great resource for this. Also, I remember an old MOZ post about guest blogging, definitely worth a read. Full article here: http://moz.com/blog/five-steps-to-finding-the-right-guest-blogging-opportunities. Might open up a few new paths for you, or at least spark an idea. Hope this helps!

  • Interesting, Lesley - I hadn't made that connection - that Google may have different crawlers for rich snippets and 'normal' pages. Makes sense really, especially when you consider the data highlighter tool in WMT. Good point and I'm pleased I read this posting now!

  • We usually update once a month, and the next scheduled update is posted on the homepage of OSE at http://www.opensiteexplorer.org/. Keep in mind that our index does change each month, so it's worthwhile to look at the DA/PA of your competitors too, and see how you changed in relation to their metrics.

  • Hey T20! Our engineers are aware of the decimals being returned in the report but can you give me an example of the regional problems you are referring to also more detail about the FB results?

  • Thank you both! The pen icon is so faint I completely missed it - have been clicking the + sign for days now hoping it was just a bug! Turns out it's not, but Moz, make that pen stand out more it's almost invisible on my screen!

  • Sorry, ignore this - seems asking the question works! It has now finally deleted everything, I wonder if there is a bug though because surely it shouldn't be that bloody difficult to delete something?

  • " Domain Authority measures the predictive ranking strength of entire domains or subdomains, Page Authority measures the strength of individual page. " According tot he data moz has on your web site they think your homepage has better chance of ranking as opposed to other pages on the domain. I would not be too worried about it, you can mitigate it by building quality links to some of your other top internal pages http://moz.com/learn/seo/page-authority http://moz.com/learn/seo/domain-authority

  • David, If you have Google Adwords running by any chance, Most of our keywords are set to 'phrase match' but then daily i look further into the specific keyword details by ticking all of my keywords within the adgroup and clicking 'Details' and Search Term 'Selected'. If your ad text is relevant then you are looking at the exact search terms that our ads and content is most relevant too, I have tightened up on this by building up my negative keywords list, Also although Google have tightened up on keyword information, Bing certainly have not so we use the keyword data from Bing webmaster tools, their is absolute tons of keyword information from Bing Thomas has a great list of good tools already mentioned, I hope this helps James

  • Hi Carla, you can use the Crawl Test Tool Jesse mentioned to find duplicate titles and meta descriptions or any site. However, I believe what you are actually looking for is the Crawl Diagnostics Report, available for any campaign you have set up in your Moz Analytics account. To find it, go to http://analytics.moz.com/manage-campaigns and select the campaign of your choice. This will take you to the Dashboard Overview of that campaign. In the lefthand navigation, select "Search". In the subnav that appears, select "Crawl Diagnostics". From there, you can filter data and download reports. You can also schedule Custom Reports to be automatically emailed to you. Let me know if you needs more clarification on this, thanks! Christy

  • Sorry about that, Betrand. We are working on the fix now and you should see the Crawl test tool working again by the end of the day. If you are still having issues in a few hours, please email help@Moz.com so we can add you to the queue of users to notify once we've had this fixed.
