Hello! Sam from Moz's Help Team here! So -  after being found, newly discovered links have the ability to be populated into our index in about 3 days. However, there are a lot of factors which can affect our ability to find and index links to your site. It's important to note that we are always adding new data to our index, but it may take some time for us to discover backlinks to your site based on factors like crawlability of the referring pages, quality of the links and the referring pages, and more. If you are not seeing links that you know you have, you may want to make sure that they can be indexed. It is also a good idea to check to see if we've indexed the page on which that link is found. If we haven't indexed the referring page yet, you won't see your link in our index. You can also add links to Link Tracking Lists. Once you add a link to your tracking lists we will add that page to be crawled. As long as it is accessible to our crawler, you should see the link in our index as soon as we can index those pages. Lastly, I have a great guide here with some things to check around why we may not have found your links yet: https://moz.com/help/link-explorer/link-building/moz-isnt-finding-your-links If you'd like any further information, please feel free to pop us an email over at help@moz.com. We do also have a great guide to Domain Authority just here: https://moz.com/learn/seo/domain-authority

Hi, No, MOZ does not have any option to disavow links and you should not be worried about disavowing links in Moz. Instead, disavow them from the Google Search Console because Google is the search engine that ranks your site according to proper linking.

Hi, Great question, Link Explorer and the Links tab of Moz Pro Campaigns are both tied to our Link index, which is constantly updating. After being found, newly discovered links have the ability to be populated into our index in about 3 days. When discovered or lost links are found, we'll update our database to reflect those changes in your scores and link counts. We prioritize the links we crawl based on a machine learning algorithm to mimic Google's index. This does not mean that DA and PA will change with every data update, though; it will only change if we find new link data for a respective site. I'm sorry I can't tell you exactly when your DA will update it depends on when we find new equity passing backlinks to your site. You can read more about our new Link Explorer tool and our index here. You can also read more about how our Link index compares with our competitors here https://backlinko.com/best-backlink-checker Feel free to reach out to help@moz.com with any further questions

Hi snjaoieiw, To get a detailed answer from Moz staff on what DA is, you might consider searching the Q&A forum. In short, though, it is a Moz metric (not a Google or Bing metric) that takes into consideration the number (and quality) of backlinks your website has. That said, have you been working on building up high quality backlinks? -Zack

  • Perfect. Everything works now. Thank you so much

  • DA and PA only tells you about how many links a website have but for quality of website probably you have to manually look in to the link profile and analyze each website on basis of their quality and how they are linking back to the website.

  • Hi there Sergil, Thanks for reaching out to us!  I am a glad you asked that question.  As you know, the reporting function in OSE only gives 25 links/domain, that is a limitation that exist on OSE and any reports that are exported out of that platform.  Unfortunately exporting all links has been a challenge for us, one which we are currently working on expanding to provide better and more robust reports in the future. If you need to find a way to get pass that, you can accomplish that in our Mozscape API, you can find out more information here: apiwiki.seomoz.org. Hope that helps, let me know if you have any questions about OSE we can answer. Best, Peter SEOmoz Help team.

  • Hi Lonneke It depends on your version of Excel, but it sounds to me like you are opening a file that is CSV (comma separated values) and excel isn't seeing the comma as a delimiter. When you first open the file, there should be a wizard that lets you specify that it is a delimited (not fixed) file and that your delimiter is a comma. That should fix your problem.... Carole

  • That's good advice! Your campaign will re-crawl after 7 days default. You should use tool http://pro.seomoz.org/tools/crawl-test to crawl again and see your results!

  • Hi Thomas, I already check that Just-Discovered Links but its showing me the links which I've build a month or so ago. Also I wait for almost a month to see in my SEOmoz account but still its not appearing. Looks like have to wait for few more days to see the exact picture. But frankly speaking if I would able to see the links within a week then its like the tool that can use to track the link profile of my competitors, Since during time period of month my competitors may have made hundreds or thousands of link. Thanks Bhavin

  • Okay, now I have a better picture of what your site actually is. Being in the U.S. myslef i have never heard of Optus and thought it was a city in Australia! My bad, lol! Now I also know that you are not a local service. Therefore i guess it doesn't matter if you Geo target your site or not. Those issues cleared up, now on to whats left. You are correct, those extra pages will not do you any good, only hurt you in the end. Also correct about linking to other pages like iphone related blogs and news sites. You have a tricky site to to target the keywords you are looking for, it is a little beyond my scope at the moment as i most deal with local business'. that being said i would still advise creating articles and blog posts and even trying to guest post about your service. I would also advise improving your content. More specifically the layout. I see a lot of sentences. Maybe combine some or add to some. If you are trying to reach the australia optus market start looking for blogs and sites related to iphone optus an "get involved" with the suggestions i mentioned above. I need to go watch a movie with my girlfriend now! feel free to ask any more questions. remember its all about being natural and that things take time.

  • Hi Alex, you're welcome I'm very happy to help. I've been there too where client does not want to change something that you know is for the better. It is crazy they pay us and ignore our  advice. If it's with Go Daddy I can almost guarantee you it's a hosting issue. They easily have somebody doing something eating up the rest of the resources on the server at the time and mistakenly give 404's for hosting non-WordPress sites I love fire host, data pipe, pair networks  and for WordPress WP engine, web synthesis, Zippy kid, press labs and Pagely if guy ever changes his mind which I understand will probably never happen. However if you're ever looking for a good hosting service I've had the best of luck with all of those. Good talking to. Sincerely, Thomas

  • Hey Zora, Thanks for writing in. Unfortunately, we don't currently have a way to track PA over time because we only track historical changes within the campaign, which is not based at the page level. We're working on a feature which will allow users to track details on specified pages on their site. We plan to include PA over time in this type of report. It sounds like this will be useful to you, but its not scheduled to be released for a few more months. I'm sorry for the inconvenience that causes. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Chiaryn

  • Hi Chase, Linda has given you very good information here. I also recommend that you check out 51 Blocks' competitive analysis tool: http://www.51blocks.com/online-marketing-tools/free-local-analysis/ Though not, per se, a ranking tool, it provides a great deal of free insight into why certain businesses are achieving certain rankings.

  • Check : http://www.zen-zen.info/festival-de-silence-3eme-edition/ Useless website; webmasters post cheap content to get a link. No social engagement, ads everywhere... Even if the DA is 44, just forget this kind of website for guest posts.

  • Honestly you are most likely having a Penguin Issue. Penguin is known to affect certain keywords, but not all. I would take that mindset and go from there. http://www.distilled.net/blog/seo/penguin-strategies/
