Resource suggetions for learning how to use Google Keyword Tool?
@Neil, Thanks for your comment. However, there are lots of guide out there to help learn the keyword research tool. I'm just wanting to see if someone can suggest one (of the many) available. Perhaps one that has been helpful to them. Also I agre with you that it's not a good idea to depend on one tool for keyword research. I'd never do that. I was just asking for resources to become better at using one of the many tools (Google Keyword Tool) that I do use.

Webmaster Tools Showing No Search Queries Since Alerts Update
Hi, Some days ago it was also happen with my site also. I could not found any backlinks and search query data, but tomorrow it is surprising i get my all data in webmater so don't worry about it. Please read that link It just say "No Data Available". You can find solution for your query. You specified that you have submitted new sitemap so now when Google crawl your site-map you get all data back. Google analytics data might be seems different because of these reasons. "Google has not crawled your site since the changes were last made, Google Analytics, track traffic only from users who have enabled JavaScript in their browser. Webmaster Tools does some additional data processing - for example, to eliminate duplicates and visits from robots. "

Subscribe by email: Feedburner, Mailchimip, Wordpress, or something else?
This is how I see it: Feedburner - Great for easiest most straightforward way to get your posts out to inbox with analytics. It does that very well. Mailchimp - Gives you complete control over all the elements but it is a bit more to keep up with. If you have a goal in the future to use the list of subscribers for an email campaign and have the time to devote to setting everything up, then this is a great option. JetPack - Since it is core to WP it is incredible simple to set up but it doen't let you generate a list of emails and has some big drawbacks to ultimate control. It is the easiest setup and I think has some incredible developments in store. Having everything in one place would be awesome but until it gives you a lot more control I would lean towards the other methods. I think the answer really depends on your future goals and your current expectations.

Best way to execute a viral contest
Step one research: Are there any similar contests out there? What does your contest offer that other don't? How much time will it take the user to do the work/enter the contest? Step two outreach: Who are the social leaders in or related to your niche? Can you get them involved? What are they currently talking about? Are they friendly? geeky? Can you make them you friends and have them share your contest? Maybe get them involved... Step three Tracking: Can you test this out before launching it to see how users interact? How did the user find this contest? Can you find more users from this same source or related source? Google Analytics? Step four Social Media: Can you create videos for the contest using you tube? http://www.seomoz.org/ugc/dominating-youtube-search-and-related-videos-results-case-study What will drive people on facebook/twitter to enter the contest? Is this something worth investing in facebook/twitter adds?

How to best leverage established web apps
Hi Tristan, It sounds like the application is a good asset and one that should definitely be bringing SEO benefit to the core business. That might mean putting it in a sub-directory, but in itself that is unlikely to achieve a huge deal. It sounds like you need to be talking to someone with experience in SEO strategy beyond what you are likely to get through Q&A. Get the strategy right on something like that and it could be a game changer.

Google Places Plus: New Name, Same Headaches
Hi Barret, This may be review for you, but I want to be sure that you know that Google has created a + page for every local business who used to have a Place Page. If this is a new topic for you, I suggest you read this article: http://blumenthals.com/blog/2012/06/08/google-for-business-places-forums-wrapup/ This excellent article covers the transition from Places to + and will explain the steps you need to take. Here is a complaint similar to yours in the Google and Your Business Forum: http://productforums.google.com/forum/#!searchin/business/wrong$20address$20google$2B/business/vHcrMLhLkoI/YklflE7tHmEJ[1-25] Here is a link for reporting your data issues: http://support.google.com/places/bin/static.py?hl=en&ts=1386120&page=ts.cs It can take 2+ weeks to get a response, so be prepared for that. Your incorrect data may well be stemming from an old duplicate listings in Places of which you weren't aware, or it could be coming from 3rd party data. Definitely, report your issue through the troubleshooter I've linked to, and if you haven't heard back in, say, 3 weeks, take your issue to the Google And Your Business Forum and give a detailed account of your experience, included that you've reported via the troubleshooter, in hopes of getting a direct response from a Google rep or Top Contributor. Hope this helps! You are not alone. There are tons of people experiencing issues like these from the changeover from Places to Plus. Good luck!

Thoughts on Visitor Tracking
I would say it's just different than Google Analytics. GA (as you know) allows you to really analyze your data, identify trends, etc. Visitor Track pretty much gives you a list of who visited your site, the keywords they used, which pages they viewed, etc. It has some reporting capabilities, but nothing like what GA has. Visitor Track is almost more of a sales tool, so you can see which companies are visiting your site. Then you can try to go after that business (but again, you have no idea who at the company was on your site - it could be an intern or it could be the CEO). I've really just started looking at alternatives. Marketo has some really neat tools, but they're part of a larger lead management suite. Here are some others - I haven't looked in depth at any of these yet, so let me know if you find anything out! http://seorchers.com/track-website-visitors/ http://www.visistat.com/

Automated Custom Google Analytics reporting tool
Hi David, Thanks for your advice. I know, also have a pro account there :). But it's only aimed at traffic and rankings and doesn't cover eCommerce for example. Pieter

Feedburner email subscription question
All you need to do is go to feedburner and click on the "monetize" tab. From there link your adsense account. In the adsense account you can go to "my ads". In that tab there is a section called "my feeds". You can select which feed you want to monetize. Hope this helps.

Importing CSV into Adwords Editor
This sounds like something I've encountered once before. I remember I dealt with it, but I forget what the cause of the problem was. If you contact AdWords Help, they are very helpful, and also tend to respond within 24 hours.

Keyword Tool Feedback Needed - Wordtracker, Wordstream, SEMRush
Finding a good niche seems the most important and interesting for Keyword Research.. What I really found useful are Raven Tools what @David mentioned and Keyword Tools from WordTracker. SEMRush is also really good and what I'm really obsessed right now it NicheBot (found here http://www.seomoz.org/dp/the-internet-marketing-handbook ). It seems it's integrated both WordTracker Tools and SEMRush and for a much achievable price. Also I've checked HitTail.com which shows you the exact long-tails and you don't need to figure them out yourself. It wokrks only if you already have and existing site with visitors. How were your tests? Interested in what you've found!

Suggestions for Maximizing Online Reach & Exposure?
Hi Rochelle, The best way to achieve maximum exposure is with a good game plan and hopefully a team (if accessible). Before creating the content make sure it is something people in that niche can benefit from or at least get entertained from. Once you have the idea ask some of the industry leaders if they would be interested in adding a quote or what they think about this content (try to get them involved). Once you have some others in the industry interested in your content they will be more likely to share it (especially if their quote is included within the article). Social media exposure is not about crating an article and sharing it to your users. Social media is about networking with industry specialists or simply other influencers, they are the key to your success. Build it and they will come doe's not work... Research, Planing, Networking, Creating Unique Content, and Proper Distribution is Key. After the article goes live keep track of how it spreads (perhaps their will be more networking opportunities from these sources). I found a similar question for Onlywire on SEOmoz: http://www.seomoz.org/q/opinions-of-onlywire-mlm-triberr-tribe-pro In my own experience you can also use sites like: Scoop.it (free or paid) or Hootsuite.com (free or paid) to share your content Hope this helps.
