I would like to track how keywords rank across blog.website.com and www.website.com without setting up separate campaigns for each. We don't care if the blog, or the main site rank, we just want something to rank and therefore want to track both sites in 1 campaign. Is there a way to do this without setting up a separate campaign for the subdomain and the main site?

RE: Google Places Plus: New Name, Same Headaches
Thanks...it's baffling how Google, a company with so many bright people and a track record of producing great tools, would allow one of their most visible products to be so consistently dysfunctional over such a long period of time and cause it's users so many headaches.

Google Places Plus: New Name, Same Headaches
I am struggling to make changes to Google Plus Local and Google Places listings for my organization. We have two listings showing up and they are both wrong. We own one of them - the Places listing - but any time we edit it it doesn't change. This is going on a year now...why don't our changes show up?
The other listing - a Google Plus Listing - was created out of thin air and has the wrong phone number and address - causing problems for our staff. I have attempted to request changes multiple times and again - nothing. What is going on? Anyone know what it takes to make changes to these things?
The organization is Dana Farber Cancer Institute and the listings show up when you Google "Dana Farber"

How does Social Media really Impact SEO?
It's become a common refrain that social media is critical to SEO. Taking this literally, I have been examining the impact of social media on specific pages and topical areas within my site. Specifically, I am looking at pages and content areas that we promote and link to via social media and I am seeing zero correlation to SEO success. Social media is not impacting my rankings at all. And we have a sizable social footprint.
Has anyone else done this type of analysis and seen different results?

Wordpress SEo Plug In
Hi,
I am researching SEO plug ins for Wordpress - WordpressSEO by Yoast and All-In-One SEO Pack - and I have a question about implementation:
In general, what is the impact these plug ins have on blogs with a large archives? Will they make any changes to old posts that may break incoming links or require me to go back and make edits to each of the old posts?
Also, the main thing I want to do is allow for custom total tags. Is there another way to get this functionality? Or should I stick with a plug in because of all the other SEO benefits?
Thanks

RE: Duplicate Content Question
yeah, it's strange...if you look at my reply to the first response, you will see the urls.
the page that copies content shows up #1 for "stem cell transplant boston" while the original page shows up for "stem cell transplant" (page 3) and other searches.

RE: Duplicate Content Question
Thanks for your reply. The target pages show up.
I recognize that the canonical tag will basically give all teh exposure to the target page. I'm just wondering if the target page will see an improvement in rankings.

RE: Duplicate Content Question
Thanks very much.
Yes, most of the content on the two sites is unique
The sites do interlink but not on these pages
Not on same IP
Yes, both sites have good authority
Here is the site originating the content:
