Keyword rank tracking across subdomains
Hi Amy, If you set up a Campaign for the url 'website.com' we will automatically track rankings for all the subdomains on your site. However if you want to separate these out to show results just for a particular subdomain vs another you would need to set up two Campaigns one for www.website.com and blog.website.com You can read more about Campaign setup here on our Help Hub. I hope this helps! Jo

Google Places Plus: New Name, Same Headaches
Hi Barret, This may be review for you, but I want to be sure that you know that Google has created a + page for every local business who used to have a Place Page. If this is a new topic for you, I suggest you read this article: http://blumenthals.com/blog/2012/06/08/google-for-business-places-forums-wrapup/ This excellent article covers the transition from Places to + and will explain the steps you need to take. Here is a complaint similar to yours in the Google and Your Business Forum: http://productforums.google.com/forum/#!searchin/business/wrong$20address$20google$2B/business/vHcrMLhLkoI/YklflE7tHmEJ[1-25] Here is a link for reporting your data issues: http://support.google.com/places/bin/static.py?hl=en&ts=1386120&page=ts.cs It can take 2+ weeks to get a response, so be prepared for that. Your incorrect data may well be stemming from an old duplicate listings in Places of which you weren't aware, or it could be coming from 3rd party data. Definitely, report your issue through the troubleshooter I've linked to, and if you haven't heard back in, say, 3 weeks, take your issue to the Google And Your Business Forum and give a detailed account of your experience, included that you've reported via the troubleshooter, in hopes of getting a direct response from a Google rep or Top Contributor. Hope this helps! You are not alone. There are tons of people experiencing issues like these from the changeover from Places to Plus. Good luck!

How does Social Media really Impact SEO?
Hi Barret, Have you watched these two Whiteboard Friday's by SEOmoz: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZUrl6p53yfo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5649gtXA4o These aren't new videos, but there is a good amount of information in the mix that you could learn from. Otherwise, a simple search on the SEOmoz Blog or Search Engine Watch will reveal an assortment of great links to read. Hope that helps!

Wordpress SEo Plug In
Barret- Custom total tags are not an issue. With the plug in you can create a custom tag for each page/blog. They wont make any changes to old posts or require you to go back and make edits of old posts.... We have tried a variety of other options and there is nothing that is easier and more functional than the plug ins. Hope this helps. Mark

Duplicate Content Question
yeah, it's strange...if you look at my reply to the first response, you will see the urls. the page that copies content shows up #1 for "stem cell transplant boston" while the original page shows up for "stem cell transplant" (page 3) and other searches.

Fresh Content Strategy - What does it look like?
I generally agree with Marisa. User experience is vital and top priority for successful sustainable SEO. I would add though, that having your home page be a point of display for regularly updated content elsewhere on the site is a good strategy, as long as it's not the only content on the home page (or unless you only run a news site or blog, and have no other primary product or service content). While routinely getting new inbound links is vital, that by itself does not say your site has fresh content. it only says "this site continues to remain relevant from an off-site perspective".
